- NEW CFA STORE creekfishingadventures.store/ Florida Trip Part 5. This was from my 2nd day of fishing in the everglades right outside of Miami, Florida. I had found a few places that was loaded with aggressive peacock bass. This is from 2-3 hours of fishing. They were so much fun to catch and the way they hit a small bass feels like a giant. I don't know how many areas had this many fish but this section was just loaded and it was easy to catch several of them.
Location- Everglades national park/ right on the Miami side

Nice cichlids you caught. Mayan, Jaguar and peacock Bass. The largemouth were a bonus.
That 2nd spot u fished is a like a fisherman's dream!!! water pouring in, cover on all sides with plenty of space to cast... Man that looks fun lol
That is the beauty of being willing to drop a line in any small bit of water you see... Be willing and ready and you will be rewarded...
God Bless and Go Kats!!!!!!!
Reminds me of my younger days. Spent many a night in the back of my pickup truck alongside Lake Eufaula, Lake Seminole, and a few other places. Enjoyed the video, thanks.
John, your sleeping in your camper shell brings back memories of long ago for me. My wife and I started our camping adventure like that, and ended up in a 5th wheel. Love your videos. God bless.
another cool Florida Video. Fun size fish works for me. Thanks for sharing John.
Great series John!!! Those peacock certainly made your day. Nice gator... lucky he didn't seem very interested. Thanks for sharing & God Bless.
This has been one my the best trips yet!
Really enjoyed this trip, thanks for bringing us along.
You know there's LOTS of videos on RUclips on making a raised bed for the back of your truck. No more worrying about sleeping in the rain.
Love your videos👍
i have heard of that and need to look into it, thanks
I enjoy watching your fishing adventures. I am so pleased with your talking and the scriptures at the end. May God bless you and your walk through life. I pray some day my daughter meets a nice guy like you. She loves fishing and hunting too.
Fun little water holes. The fish at 9:30 was a Mayan Cichlid. Thanks for sharing. Come back to FL soon!
Nice work on the peacock bass, plus some other species, largemouth bass, mayan cichlid and a jaguar guapote. Florida is being good to you.
Peacock's look like fighters Florida fishing looks like alot of fun really enjoyed your Florida trip
everything is a fighter in there
Looks like fun! Wish we had long canals like that in Nashville, love. Your vids
You definitely need to get back to FL to catch more of these peacock bass! Enjoyed watching this series!!!
i couldnt stop fishing this area for 2 days, next time i will try to go for the bigger ones
I agree. I really love the peacock bass vids
@Hugo Adrian Wilkins None of these fish are invasive.
@Hugo Adrian Wilkins 100% serious. They are not native, but that does not make them invasive.
@Hugo Adrian Wilkins You clearly don't know the definition of what an invasive species is. You've already made yourself look ignorant and uneducated. I suggest you go look at the fwc list of invasive species, learn what an invasive species is, and then learn about the fish. Once you do this you'll see that these fish aren't invasive.
Those Peacock bass are really nice. It was cool seeing that alligator. Glad you are having a great time done in Florida. 😊
That was a really cool Fla trip. Gave me some motivation to throw an old mattress in the back of the truck and go catch peacock bass all day. Canals for days....
Up here in Ohio I've been skunked the last four times fishing from the bank. Can't wait until Spring! Thanks for sharing these videos, my daughter and I I enjoy them.
I live in Ohio too, check out my videos, I've been catching them in creeks and ponds !
Same for me (skunkage) in Maryland!
Another great video brother. Awesome to watch and remember fishing in Florida. I was around Tampa so not as far south as you but catching fish like that is just plan fun. God bless.
Very cool video man! I plan to go to Florida this summer and catch some peacocks !
Excellent. I have gotten so fed up with this winter in the Midwest I am grabbing the boat, running to Southern Florida and will be fishing and sleeping in my SUV if I have to in a week. Kinda like when I was young. I used to go to Florida and stay till I only had enough money for gas to get back. Loved every trip. Zero regrets.
awesome man, it was so nice to get a break from winter
Awesome! 👏 yup definitely a dream catch fish of mine!
Great video had so much fun watching it !!!
Hey, I'll have to take a look and see this series... Didn't realize you had been down here. Watch your vids but not in any particular order. Funny to see you down in my neck of the woods. Thanks going to go watch and enjoy... Thanks.

Awesome trip , thanks for sharing.
Another great Florida fishing video... love the look of those peacock bass! It’s amazing that you can catch multiple fish and species in the same spot. God is Good! 🎣👍👊🏼
yes it was amazing how many fish would be in the same area, i could leave and come back later and catch more
My wife and I will be heading to Lutz, Florida on some vacation in early February. Hoping to get some fishing in and do a video or two!

Nice my man keep them video coming love your channel
Fish after fish sure is fun great video🎣🎣🎣🎣💪💪💪💪💪
Went to the Everglades last year and camped at Flamingo Campground inside the park.Fishing was fantastic.
The western canals in Delray Beach area have lots of big exotic fish from around the world now breeding here. Great fights.
This past year was the first I seen out out while I was in Florida...
Best day to fish for peacocks. Wet and overcast. Always catch them by the handful on days like that
Just finished watching your video and makes me want to drive out there to fish. Thanks for the video.
I cant wait till this virus is contained so I can drive out there like you did. It would be cool to meet up with you and fish with yaa.
Can you please let me know where you video was filmed. Am itching to prep for that area
If I could ever find the time, I would like to go there and catch not only Peacock Bass, but many of the other species you have encountered on this trip. This is definately different from what I am accustomed to. Great little video.
you would absolutely love the diversity
Definitely on my bucket list.
Nice video I went creek fishing today caught one good sized creek chub
Solid work,Brother...
Nice job! I lived in Miami from 2001-2003 and I loved it! It's a fisherman's dream. Only problem is native species like bluegill and crappie have declined because of all the invasives. Oh, and thanks for replying to my email! Gonna hit the Hiwassee in March when live bait allowed. God bless brother.
Born and raised in Nashville. Stationed in Homestead from 1987 to 1992, Andrew said leave... anyway, all but thelargemouthes were all invasives, the Dracula looking one was a Jaguar chichlid and a little one at that. so were all those peacocks. honestly want bigger fish, go closer to Miami, like right off the intercoastal waterway. 10 lb peacocks, 15lb snakeheads are everywhere. but good to see a fellow Volunteer getting to do what I miss so much..
Great video bro keepem coming
Your channel is on fire man....
thanks man
Awesome video!!!👍🙏🎣
Those are gorgeous peacock bass you caught
Love fishing on side of rode💙
Some of those peacock bass get to be mon-stars for real. You should definitely go for the bigger ones next time you go down there.

Good grief! That's awesome. Where else can you catch fish like that from a road side ditch. I have to get down there.
Lived and fished in South Florida for 3 years now and have yet to see an alligator. Anyway, nice video. Hope you enjoyed your stay in South Florida, it sure looked like you did. Visit again soon!
8:00 is a Jaguar Cichlid
9:30 is a Mayan Cichlid
Yep, there are loads and loads of fish down here. I hope you caught a Bowfin. They are fun. Plenty of Snook, Tarpon, Peacock, Bowfin, Gar, Jaguar Cichlid, Oscar, Myan Cichlid, Snakehead, and a whole host of other things out there.
They hit hard down here even if they're little they still hit hard down here
That look really fun I hope I can do this one day
Home town we have fish everywhere i love it
Nice haul of fish, wonder what lb test you would need for that croc.? ⛓
Great video 👍👍
AMEN! All the water there looked so fishable! See any of those big snakes?
no i didnt see any snakes, i was hoping to
Nice man. That would definitely be fun to do.
Hay killer video,. That's where I grew up fishing in the 70s !!! But the NC mountains are beautiful !! N east Tenn !! 😎 Too !!! It's a trade off !!!! No trout there lol !! Peace 😎
i do like having mountains and cold clear water around
That's right! And we don't have fire ants or sand spurs!
@@crazyfingers19 lol !! Ahhhh those dam sandspurs !!!!!!
You got me wanting to get down there..
Hey man the first one you caught and didn't know what it was is a Jaguar Cichlid and the more reddish one is a Mayan Cichlid (pretty tasty for future reference). And awesome video man! Gotta love the glades!
ok thanks for the help
For sure man👍🏽
Rapala DT 4 to 6 ft seems to bring them out also
That's awesome those sports look like just a little puddle on the side of the road
but they just connect to the swamps and go on forever
Luv your channel
nice catch peacockbass
the black/grey/pink wobbler is from ebay. Got the same and it catches like crazy. Beautiful peacocks, but a lot of species seems to be invasive and not endemic to Florida.
Great video, Dude. Never caught a peacock bass.
Great video
Nice! Fished similar spots back in March. Didn't catch as many as you but did catch one relative giant, between 2-3 pounds. They hit like a freight train! One thing that bothers me is the trash on the sides of the roads... damn humans.
My best peacock was an 8 lb 4 oz female caught in Wolf Lake South Florida , it was a heck of a battle .
i bet it was, thats huge
Nice peacock bass
At 9:45 that was a Chiclid, at 8:00 I’ve never seen before and I’ve been fishing here in Florida my whole life. I’m sure it’s a kind of chiclid
The fish you didn’t know what it was called was a Jaguar cichlid orange one is Miyan Cichlid
What road were you on?? That looked sooo cool!
Hey 41 it goes through the glades
Awsome job
thanks
Lol I fish there right on lol I would have loved to gone fishing with you bro I'm a fan of the show
Thanks man, I couldn’t believe how many fish there are in there. It was so fun just picking them out like that

thanks
Indonesia present you are indeed a very good fishing place
I have got to move to Florida one day.
Bro one moccasin culprit with a red Hook 8th ounce bullet weight and you can basically tear up the entire state, i’ll put 8 pound test.. was that a super spook a mini super book?
The fish at 8:15 was a jaguar cichlid
