    I am amazed at how much that helped me. I'm struggling with a very sensitized nervous system, following years of psychiatric drug tapering and withdrawal. The benzo taper was especially horrific and I get these horrible days still, where I'm burning and in pain and crying and freaking out, even wanting to kill myself. Today has been off the charts bad. I just did this video and it calmed me right down, at least for the moment. I'm calmer and cooler and much more regulated. Thank you so much. 💞

    There was a lightbulb moment for me towards the end of this class where I understood that my eyes look towards the open hand. Will be doing this exercise a few more times. Very powerful. Thank you.

    Since my previous comment I've cracked a couple of ribs! It's painful and distressing, but my thought was that if only I knew how to apply it Feldenkrais would help. I did the lesson rotating hands today, really more to make myself feel calm about the situation, and to my surprise I have less pain after completing the lesson. Feldenkrais really is extraordinary!❤

      Wonderful! No need to try to stay awake, if fact, if it's helpful, you can do this in bed to fall asleep at night. Enjoy!

    I have been doing these exercises the last week or so and they have been great for my nervous system which has become dysregulated by long covid. However, just a couple days ago I developed a lot of muscle soreness in my neck. I’m wondering if it may be from the exercises. I’ve been trying to do them extremely gently so wanted to hear if this is a possibility. I’ve done the various exercises from 1-3 times a day. It also may be from seething unrelated as I do get some unexplainable aches and pains!

    • @FeldenkraisAccess
      @FeldenkraisAccess  4 месяца назад

      I'd suggest doing even smaller movements than you are already doing, and maybe even doing some of the movements in your imagination to see if that diminishes any soreness in your neck. Let us know how it goes.
