That dude that passed had great taste in music. RIP
Indeed.
Hello I’m James (Jay’s) brother. It killed me to get rid of his stuff but it was his wishes there was more stuff trust me that friends and family got first . It warms my heart seeing some of the comments. If you really are interested In his music he still has some pressings and I’ll try to remaster and get more of this out In the world .
May he rest in peace. He had quite a collection and a great taste in music. I'm sure music was his first love. As they say music is food for the soul.🎸🎸🎸🎶🎵🔊🔈🔉
Rest In peace jay! That's an amazing collection 🤘🏼😍🤘🏼
Ben, a vid of James complete collection, accompanied by his music, would be cool.even just a print listing of the titles, would be a neat journey, he would still be sharing music with the masses.
Sorry for your lost RIP ur beloved brother. Now this was a huge awesome colecction. Respect to him I'm heaven . Que sea leve amigo, un Abrazo.
1 cool brother. RIP bro
As a fellow record collector, I’m well aware that one day my collection will become somebody else’s and I think there’s a certain beauty in that. All I can say is take care of those and good on you for helping to share his music.
Peice of their soul is sprayed on those records like a cats territorial pissings
I hope my heirs like Rush and Jethro Tull.
Rip to this guy who passed away
He had killer taste in music..
From Miles Davis, Joy Division to King Diamond. .etc.
Absolutely UNREAL collection, It would be a dream to have this stuff
I’m taking my records to my grave cuz they’re mine...you no touch
awww mannn
Ha ha! If I can't listen to them NOBODY can!
Once you hit that grave... they're MINE! I touch.
I’m 16 and have a record collection with some sick stuff in it. A lot of it has been passed down from generations and relatives and it is really special to be able to enjoy other people’s music - I think if a lot of them were around still they would be happy it hasn’t been forgotten. Hopefully this man is the same
Holy crap, amazing collection. This is probably the best score you've made.
10:52 is Laaz Rockit. My dad was the bassist, he passed a few years ago in a motorcycle accident. I just recently started collecting vinyl. It made me super happy to see that record. Thank you.
Love Laaz Rockit. Didn’t know that, sorry to hear about your loss.
@@samhalbert9071 thank you! Always happy to hear somebody that knows of Laaz Rockit.
This is one hell of a collection, the guy had great taste indeed.
10:38 Judas Priest, not exciting? Fall to your knees and repent if you please!
I'm 57 years old I have a lot of metal from the 80s all in plastic all in great condition you can get them when I'm dead
Sennstrato - *MOST EPIC COMMENT EVER!!!* And from one 57 year old to another, I am impressed as f**k, as well.
I found this very emotional.. what a collection..
👍 the music in the background is amazing. Always good to see a mix collection with metal as a main influence.
What a fascinating collection this guy James Harlow had! Some surprising stuff to see in a predominately metal collection. He had great taste. His own music is very good too!
Rufus Cleveland yeah it was a well curated collectiob
That is a beautiful haul. Some of my favorites are in there.
It's NOT MGTA...it's MGLA, Polish black metal and a great record, give it a few spins and find the beauty in it ;)
He wont, he knows just the homeboy music.
He’ll just probably listen to something American
Awesome collection! Thank you for sharing.
It's really kinda sad to know the guy worked so hard collecting those, and in one swoop they're gone. I mean I totally understand they gotta go somewhere.. but still sad none the less. RIP James Harlow. 🙏
Yes, it is very sad. He had lots of comics and music equipment that were sold as well.
It’s devastating to go through everything and getting to know him and his taste. Very sad indeed.
.."what's going to happen to my lovely records?"..Time to start thinking about this,I'm 45 and I could go anytime.I don't want them to end up in the hands of some subnormal,I want them to be appreciated and played.
1,000 lps, sounds like a fun times going over each record!
A lot of good ones there!
Thank you!
FANTASTIC video! Thank you for sharing!!!
A very nice mix of records for sure! People will be quite happy on Saturday!
11:12 (FOG "Exercises in Futility") MGŁA "Exercises in Futility" great polish black metal band
13:02 Angantyr/Nasheim from Denmark
Great taste! He sounded like a great guy!
That is an amazing metal, and punk album collection. Im saving this as reference so I can search for some of this stuff up here in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks dude
wow...when i started seeing a few i kept ...hearing them again...i love my vinyl.thats one record collection....good luck! and rip
I'm really digging the James Harlow music, thanks for the tip.
So therapeautic..thanks for flipping!!
Wow great collection, lots of crossover with my own collection. Wish I lived closer. Your customers are in for a treat.
Incredible collection mate!🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
Some priceless records right there.
That badlands record is awesome!! 🤘🏻 never seen it anywhere hard to find
I Got one 🤷♀️ And it's a damn good album!!
Would love to see the black Metal stuff he had
Dude!....I don’t know how much more I can stand of seeing these records!
Road trip from MA!
As I’m sure you’re aware, some of that early black metal stuff was pressed in such small quantities and is worth a TON! Doesn’t sound very good to me, but still cool as far as collectible vinyl. I hope those records go to people who are gonna listen to and enjoy it, and not try n flip it! Flippers SUCK!
My lord that’s some great stuff!! That MGLA album had me drooling 🤤
What a collection. I'd like to buy the Steven Wilson stuff...but probably couldn't afford it. RIP to James.
What a beautiful collection...seriously. That looks pristine.
Great vid dude, very cool
Sick collection! His music is dope too! RIP👽
Awesome haul
5:43 as a hardcore music collector i cant lie, i flinched pretty hard at the way you slung that record.
dont be silly
amazing collection
wow thats amazing!
RIP. He had great taste in music especially metal! Wish I lived in NC to buy some of this!
Jazz and more, nice metal collection...
This fella had great taste in music #RIP
Pay attention for Igra Staklenih Perli, prog rock from late 70 s, Belgrade, Serbia. Very rare and expensive, if has a white label it is first press. Cheers from Serbia.
Wow. Amazing collection. I dream of finding a collection of the sort to buy.
This is the record collection I dream of having. I can only imagine what the other guy picked and kept.
Dude had great taste when it comes to Metal. You got some really nice hard to find metal stuff in there man. Great score man.
Thanks man! Yeah it’ll be great for the shop
Noble Records you don’t like anything metal at all ?
I would kill for that signed Armored Saint LP.
Awesome scores. Vinyl rocks.
The guy had some amazing stuff! Peace
Misfits earth a.d. is definitely on my list of wants for my collection love that record
What a wonderfully eclectic mix.
Some incredible records there. That Hormoaning. Wow.
Theres some killer classics in there def some rare stuff, some expensive 1st presses i see, great collection! That hellhammer if its a 1st press noise records alone is a grail for metalheads 🤘
My collection i know where it will go and itll be alot of $$$ for sure
Man. I think in one purchase you became an elite vinyl metal collector. :)
Pretty sweet and rare!
Great collection almost legendry.
Really want those Nasty Savage, Helstar and that Overkill if available after Saturday!
I would die for those Maiden LPs and singles
Hey hey I want that Bauhaus! :D
oh my goodness i wish i could pick up some of that jazz collection
Love the Armoured Saint stuff, massively underrated band. I think I've got about 90% of those discs in my own collection, the dude had great taste..
So eclectic and full of classic and contemporary bands. Must’ve been a cool dude.
17:12 - this is great! It’s experimental Russian techno! It’s a small Russian label called “Trip” (Трип), and the LP’s are “Arthur and the Intergalactic Whales” by Bjarki and compilation of artists from this label “When I Was 14”.
Love ur vids
The Miles Davis kinda blue is awesome to see
Man 3 months late but I want those sleep albums. Also awesome channel, just getting into vinyl, subscribed.
Killer metal collection. Some nice stuff in there. Quite a few of those are some bucks.
Hang on to that Somewhere in Time until after the tour next year.
Wicked!! Most of that will fly out yr door. Good luck with your sale.🤘 Laaz Rocket, Nasty Savage and Flotsam all killer thrash metal 🤘too bad I’m in Oz and shipping would be ridiculous.
Wish this was in Australia, great collection! 🙂
Hey! You passed the Henry Cow album really quickly and didn’t seem to know them. It’s Fred Frith’s and Chris Cutler’s amazing jazz prog band from the 70s. Very important and influential. You have to give it a listen. Amazing album and band! Anyway, just thought I’d turn you on to them. You’re welcome. Enjoying the videos, from LA!
It’s also very rare, by the way.
Yeah I know it. Not super valuable, worth about $20
@@noblerecords yea, I noticed that after. Lol. Still a great album! Also check out their albums Western Civilization and Concerts. Cheers!
My brother and I collected 100’s of metal cassette tapes for years.. “they were cheap,we were poor” he had that Badlands!...it and one called “circus of power” he would never let me borrow....
I’m sure the internet has all the answers but I remember everything he’d never let me borrow...if he didn’t loan it,it was very rare/valuable.
His prize was one called “masi” I think
Udo,Disneyland after dark. “Actual band
Name ! 😂”
He started buying up c.d’s and vinyl...I went with him to a place and watched him pay ungodly amounts for some things...that delirious nomad, and Helix were among them.
I’m glad I clicked this video!!,you showing records, but all I see is my brother and me hanging out...😂 and the smell of cheap motorcycle jackets
Thanks !!
Correction= Disneyland after dark was “D.A.D.” For legal reasons.
What an awesome collection! Any chance on getting the Parallels by Fates Warning and the Forest Swords one?
to each his own....that is what makes music so awesome ......
Is that a first press of Obzen by Meshuggah? I can't believe you're even holding that
Exciting. Would love some new vinyl short on cash and fear factory record i ordered lost in the Mail.
It is very rare to have Katatonia's first ep Elohim Meth on record!! That is worth alot of money!
i have that miles davis love it!
Where was I a year ago I would have bought almost all of this collection
Ohhh my... the former owner used to love Progressive Rock; there are a lot of goodies in his collection: King Crimson, Camel, Rush, Steven Wilson, Univers Zero (from Belgium), MDK from french band Magma... I am speechless.
And of course, lots of Iron Maiden, some Messhuga, Mastodon and I think I saw a great masterpiece from Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucía, that album is amazing.
Hopefully, I will have a collection like that.
Great vid!
I have the maiden japan album I've owned for about 30 years,I have a rare piece of mind album my late brother won from a radio station, the vinyl has a picture of a dinner plate instead of black vinyl. On the plate of food,it has an artificial brain on the plate, the album includes the song cross eyed mary
Oh, very good.
Sweet haul. Unbelievable.
Rest in peace my music loving friend
Nice collection! You should give that Katatonia record "The Great Cold Distance" a listen. More of a melancholic alternative rock album than metal.
Wow! A lot of great stuff. Does noble records ship abroad? I'm based in South America-Brazil?
what a killer collection
Some great vinyl there (jealous face)
I like that guy's music pretty well
Awesome collection all the best metal bands ( my thing) oh to be nearby not in Uk. Congratulations on an excellent collection
This guy had a amazing collection! There are some Id like to buy it would be cool if you could a video of what did not sell I'm sure you would not have a problem selling them
That Budgie record is amazing 🤘
How much was all that?
HELLA!!
Dude thats a nice find! I have about 1000 original vinyl all in the hard rock and heavy metal genre. These I bought in the 70's and 80's and still play daily. Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Girlschool, The Runaways, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Van Halen, Hammerfall, Krokus, Dokken, Ratt, etc etc.. to name a few. Enjoy!
As you're a bit of a music aficionado you may find it interesting that the Nektar album was recorded in quadrophonic sound. I sold my copy last year after owning it for 30 years and I never got the opportunity to listen to it in that manner.
I wish i was offered deals like this!!!
