Imagine being literally bred for war, being trained and created to be the perfect soldier... but being assigned as the Cupid trooper...
I would imagine the wings and bow would be more comforting to primitive species the CIS would've tried to exploit, especially if they could penetrate things like Droideka shields and Cortosis Battle Droid armor.

I love how obscure star wars can be, like if you only saw the movies, you would have not a single clue who any of these clones would be
most of them weren't even part of the Legends timeline, but only appeared in a game, as easter eggs.,
Only the assassin and Blaze trooper and specialist (whose name doesn't make really that sense, it supposed to be scout trooper) are a thing, and only appeared once or twice at most.
Imagine Rex saw the Cupid Troopers and looked seriously at Anakin for a long moment.

Slight Correction: Palpatine justified the creation of the Clone Assassins to combat Dooku's Cadre of Dark Jedi which at the time included Asajj Ventress, Sora Bulq and several dozen others. Note, this game was made long before TCW, so it was based upon the lore of the Multi-Media Project, which included the Republic Comics, the various books such as Shatterpoint and the Commandos Series, and of course the Clone Wars Micro Series.
Blaze troopers: What happens when a clone jet trooper gets his hands on Starcraft, sees the Terran Firebat and goes "Oh yeah... I wanna be that guy."
They are more like proto-Space Troopers.
H.O.P.E troopers look like they came from a Star Wars battle Royale game

Not to mention the Clone Assassins do have access to blasters but prefer using their viper blades as they seem to be aware that blasters would be useless against a Jedi.

The Assassin\CQC Clones could be reworked into canon as a special force trained to assist the Jedi in both combating fallen Jedi like Dooku or his dark followers such as Ventress, and as stealth infiltrator's ala Solid Snake. At least officially. in secret, unknown even to the Clones, Palpatine gave them special directives that upon Order 66's activation would allow them to match the Jedi.
The Clone Assassins there is nothing wrong with them. Palpatine would of course have these type of dudes.
@@emberfist8347 yeah, not sure why there are ion the video, also the blaze troopers are effective too and make sense, and many of the awkward units weren't even canon within Legends or only appeared in game.

The main reason they have the sharpshooters here is because "it looks like they can't see anyrhing," even though in game you can see everything, and in the cutscene, he wasn't looking at Maul, who himself was a Sith Assassin that could very well appear out of nowhere
That would actually make a ton of sense and would also explain why they were training with jedi and sparring against them.
Get rid of Barrage's spike mohawk, smooth out one shoulder, and turn that shoulder more rectangular and have it cover to about the elbow and Barrage would be wearing a decent Zaku cosplay...

At least General Kenobi wearing Phase I clone trooper armor looks cool and is practical for a Jedi general in a large scale galactic war created to annihilate the Jedi.

RexinCole 0z Amazing, that was all wrong. Yoda doesn’t have a Clone Legion, that was Luminara Unduli’s legion. Obi-Wan has GOLD, not Orange. Mace has BROWN, not purple. The only one you got right was Anakin with the 501st.
RexinCole 0z They really arent orange, theyre a gold-yellow color, and Yoda doesn’t even share a legion with Unduli except in Revenge of the Sith for ONE battle. It was Luminara’s legion, not Yoda’s.

They did use Hungarian for the Nelvaanians (a reference for Nelvana) in Star Wars: Clone Wars from 2003-2005 (a true Cartoon Network/Star Wars Legends gem; I even downloaded all Chapters in my RUclips Downloads).

The H.O.P.E trooper actually reminds me of how some times back in the time of the old republic mandalorans would enter the atmosphere riding combat droids called basilisk war droids

The term "canon" is subjective to me. I prefer to call the Disney Star Wars universe "the Star Wars Alt-universe", while Star Wars Legends' is, well, "the Star Wars Legends Universe". In my opinion, non-canon stories happened in alternate universes.
More likely, I loved the Clone Assassin's! They're the best in my part because of how they were trained to hunt down Jedi. It's ok if they're the worst as you may say but to me, they're special. Ninja's of the Clone Army. I hope they would have a model for BF2. "IF" they would make one; just in case. I'll leave this request for you all to decide.

The Cupid troopers are ridiculous, but their design is still somewhat cool and could work well as part of a different army and with a name that isn’t as stupid as “Cupid trooper” lmao

It's mind boggling to me that you guys recognize the silliness with the melee armed Halloween Trooper but not the exact same futility of the melee armed Lance Trooper.

i think the assassins are pretty good and cool and a great way to show off Teräs Käsi and how effective it was against even a seasoned Jedi such as Obi Wan
Imagine training your life to become a high class infantry soldier, then being divided into a specialist class due to your keen senses and sniper skills.... Then a clone who lands on a platform with a umbrella gets ranked higher than you..
1:09 I wondered where these guys came from! I played as them in a battlefront 2 mod. Worked well for a flank in a big battle, I suppose it could be useful against organics in a smaller battle, but they were not cost effective

They did try to kill Cal Kestis, y'know (after killing and fatally injuring Master Aayla Secura and Master Jaro Tapal respectively, of course).
I love that two of these (the ridiculous angel-wings and the spooky scythe-boy) are just clone-trooper versions of the Wing Gundam and the Gundam Deathscythe from Gundam Wing.

I feel the cupid clone troopers would be useful if they weren’t valentine’s day clones. Like, i can see a clone with a bow designed to pierce heavy armour being useful in battle.
I think a more crossbow - y thing might be more practical, or a launcher that fires the piercing arrows. Bows allow for more human error in operation.
Some sources say the blaze troopers having a heavy rotating blaster cannon instead of a flame thrower.

Now knowing your love for the revenge of the sith video game, somebody has to mod Grievous' alternate appearance from that game into Battlefront 2. The battle super battle Droid metal color with the red sith sabers looked so cool to me when I was younger.

Um, doesn't it show in the Clone Wars tv show that the visor for the clones in Battlefront II can be put up, making them be able to see? Bly, Rex, & others use it in the show, but easy put it up when not using it, or back down again if needed

Orbital parachuting is useful if you use it to land a team in a location when the enemy does not believe that there can be any of your soldiers on the surface.

I thought up a way the Skeletal troopers could maybe be used. It's highly situational but here we go-
Stealth operations at night or dark planets:
A Droid unit was patrolling through a dark forest. On this planet the nights were even darker than on other planets, combine with the fact that the trees obscured any moonlight, the only way the droids could see were their gunmounted flashlights.
The unit stopped for a bit kinda bored, their was no way a republic attack would take place so why even do patrols?
**twig snap** a droid jerks upwards and points his gun towards the sound.
"Contact!" Was the last thing he said before being pulled into the trees by a barbaric scythe. Suddenly the droid unit was surrounded by the image of Skeletons around them, these spirits ripped them apart with primitive weapons.
Droids are not programmed to feel fear, but they did anyway.
**Blaster fire**
The droids opened fire at anything that moved, focusing on the neon glows, but this would be the final nail in the coffin as the Troopers activated strobes. The entire skeletal light began flashing rapidly disorienting the droids as their visual sensors overloaded.
As the last droid fell, the Skeletal beings lights turned off and left the area.
An entire droid force taken out without a single tabana gas cartridge used.
2003 animation is sooo underrated.

Droids and tank were out of sight when he said that the sector is clear.
Also a sharpshooter itself can be very useful in taking down single targets, lie for example: MG gunner or tank commander or whatever so I don't know why the sharpshooter on the clip is even on the list. Also the "bino" thing on his helmet can be raised (Cody had the same device).

I'm fairly certain that a good part of the skeleton trooper's training was blasting the Star Wars equivalent Linkin Park in their ears as they sleep. The goal is to make them edgelirds so that they'll agree to fight the droids with scythes.

The only two that seem somewhat feasible, is the HOPE suit and the "Super Trooper" however ridiculous it might be, though...they are very situational. But it wouldn't be the first time a one off system was used militarily...Sci Fi or otherwise.
The majority of them come all from one game, TCW adventures, an MMO that i'm not even sure that exist anymore.
None of them were canon within Legends. The MEC trooper was an obsucre skin from the PSP battlefront games, there was no info given about it besides appearing in the two games, so likey also Legends canon. The HOPE trooper is allright, could be just Clone Commandos laucnhed to the field from drop pods, just that umbrella as parachute is ridiculous, those old cartoon CW and TCW tie ins had some funny looking stuff in them. Clone Blaze Troopers and Assassins first appeared in the Revenge of Sith game and make sense, the former being juggernauts in melee, dual flame throwers were only on the armor in the TCW game, wrongly referred as "Super Trooper", the proper version of them was in ROTS game, where they only had one. The assassins, trained their whole live to eliminate at least lower level jedi in squads, and were trained in a unarmed martial art, made to easier fight Jedi, so they could be less predictable as opposed to fighting with hand held weapons, which jedi were more used with.
That Wokiee Clone trooper, is just another skin of the TCW MMO, it's a clone commando armor with painting that looked like the fur of a wookie.

The lancer troopers, to me, are a good unit that were used in the wrong way.
You can see how Dirge uses the mobility of his speeder and the piercing ability of his lance to pierce the armor of Republic AT-ATs.
That's what these guys are probably supposed to be. But then Obi-Wan ordered them to drive head first into Dirge's unit. Bad move.

If you exclude the jump pack, then Blaze troopers appear quite similar to Space Marine Aggressors from 40k. Bulky armour, wrist flamers and fists as primary weapons. I had just painted a squad before watching this and suddenly I had a Déjà vu.
