I just made this!! I put seedless strawberry jelly inside under the whipped cream.. it's soo yummy!! Though I would bake it for only about 10 mins next time, it turned a little dry on the edges. Thanks for the recipe Laura!!

I made two chocolate jelly rolls for French class my freshman year, since they have a dish called a buche de noel that's pretty much the same thing. It was great. Everyone loved it. :)
i'm going to say it again incase anyone misread, Laura Vitale is a professional chef, she knows what she is doing. She knows how to make a jelly roll to the correct recipe. Your comments are irrelevant.
when I make it I put the jelly roll on the wett towel and don't let it become cold, and put the cream and roll it with the help of towel.:))) thanxxx to you for your vids we love you :)))
Hey Laura :) Did you know that in Chile they make a similar recipe but instead of using whipped cream they use Dulce de leche and its called "Brazo de Reina" (Arm of the queen) ! Thanks for this video! You're Amazing !
I do know how to cook though, and I didn't say it to sound offensive or anything. Just stating my opinion :) I love Laura's cooking videos, but I think she appreciates what other people think.
if you think about it, sooo many people have done their version of every single recipe ever created so it's not like it's only them who have similar recipes
this is like a pionono, some stuff i put in, is "dulce de Leche", or some cream cheese mixed some kind of jelly (strawberry, or other berry) also with this roll you can adapt it to sweet and salty, some mayo, with tuna and olives, or some mayo with ham and other stuff, good for cold dishes ;).
I haven't cooking spray here where I live, how can I recreate the same efect, using something else? sorry if my english is too bad, can you answer me? thx, love u Laura!

I find that beating the egg whites before everything else is much easier! Since you don't have to worry about cleaning up as much :)
