Emma, you have improved so much as a teacher! Thanks for your running commentary as you paint, especially as you tell us the colors you are using and when you wet your brush , dry it etc. The mini lesson on flower perspective at the start is so helpful. Your approach is so encouraging and forgiving. You are truly the best thing out there for those of us who love to dabble in watercolor. ❤️
Thank you Emma for your AWESOME videos. Since I found you last month, I have improved tremendously. The bit about perspective at the start of this video is brilliant!!!!!
Wow wow wow. You don’t know how helpful this tutorial is. I love you and your art work. You have totally inspired me to draw and paint again. I used to draw many years ago but work and life got in the way. I’m rediscovering my passion for drawing because of you. Keep up the excellent work. Sending you lots of blessings from Toronto
Dear Emma, you are an amazing teacher and your classes are so very pupil friendly, you made a beginner like me feel really comfortable especially as I have started painting after 30 years. I live in Surrey UK, and searched everywhere until I found your videos really helpful. Could I request for more paintings of this type of close ups on flowers. God bless your family and your beautiful son. Keep doing what you do, you are an inspiration to me 🙏🏼🙏🏼💝 Jeannette...
Beautiful! Thank you! And I love the bangs!!! I tried a rough draft of this today - it is absolutely beautiful. Emma you are brilliant. i love how you get down to task! No music! Just what is needed to get it done!
hello Emma, I love your style, as well the painting and your speaking. Don't put yourself down. This is much better then lets say a voiceover Just you being you, that's your strenght. Blessings from the Netherlands. Stay well!.
You really are a good teacher. Everything is very well explained. I'm probably going to try, but I 'm a beginner and I'll probably have to start several times before doing something that will look a bit like your watercolor. Thank you for your explanations. 🌺🌻🌼
Loved your lesson on perspective-thank you. The composition and your painting is beautiful. Id really like to see this with more color and less grey. Watching your videos is always a pleasure.
I love your bangs. They are very flattering. I used Art philosophy Vintage pastels to do these. Thanks for helping me with another beautiful painting. I’ve now done 122 of your tutorials. And thank you for doing more in these troubled times.
Hi Emma, I like what you do. It’s seems so easy and not complicated. Also your description is clear. I’m not bilingual and I understand you very well. Thank you. (Your son is so cute)
Love, Love, Love this, Emily!! So beautiful. I'm going to try this on my larger 12x16 paper. Thanks for the helpful perspective tips for drawing them as well.
Great tutorial...I've subscribed to your channel and follow you on IG. My anemone is like the one you described without starting really light. I learned something new with you. Thank you and I like your Etsy shop too!
Thank you. You explain what you do so well, and all that you do is really beautiful. What is the difference between the snap brushes you use. And the ones that have a muted orange stripe around them. I’m trying so hard to describe the color properly for you! It would help if I had the brush in front of me.
Do you mean the gold taklon range of Princeton Snap brushes? I was wondering that too. What is the difference between the white and the gold? The price point seems to be the same though. TIA.
Barbara J I cant figure it out. II ordered the kind she recommends before they become unavailable. The set wasn’t much at all. It’s tough buying these things because I’m pretty much in the dark. And it is a huge industry!
Without speaking for everyone, I suspect we watch your watercolor tutorials because you make it accessible. Side note....Trying not to sound like a creeper: like the new hair style.
I would definitely recommend these brushes. Buy a round size 10 or 12. I love these brushes. They really allow for great control and the point stays pointy. As a beginner you will appreciate the advantage this brush provides. I love mine! Enjoy.

Clearly not having the words just makes you so real....I don’t know how you can paint and explain at the same time👏👏🤗
22:46 That's part of your charm Emma! Listening to you is like being with a friend.
Thank you so much for showing how to draw the flowers, it helps so much to have direction on how to use circles to sketch.

Wow
Beautiful! Are you tapping the water off your brush when you dip it or do you use it full of water?
Hermoso, que color usaste para las flores amarillentas?
I really missing this. 😅😅
The word you were missing is "Vibrant" beautiful work, thank you
Hi Emma....would you recommend the Princeton Snap brushes for a beginner to watercolor? BTW, this piece is beautiful!
I would definitely recommend these brushes. Buy a round size 10 or 12. I love these brushes. They really allow for great control and the point stays pointy. As a beginner you will appreciate the advantage this brush provides. I love mine! Enjoy.
