I love how In the early episodes sona was so shy and matt almost never spoke and now they got so close and their humor is almost the same. I Love these people.
Their "humor"...what humor? Sona is about as funny as sticking searing needles through your toe nails.

True. They've really become more comfortable with each other on the podcast especially Matt. He was very quiet in the beginning.
Matt improved a lot compared to the start of his stint on this podcast.
Sona hasn't changed that much. She just reacts by laughing a lot and not really conversing or participating in the discussion.

Matt being so excited about doing a bit that he started laughing before it was funny is a very relatable moment.
I've been thinking about eating a cucumber out of a glass during family dinner with a straight face but I just know I won't be able to get through with it.
Conan has this magical ability to bring the humorous side out of almost anyone. It's like he's got comedy radar, does this person like more erudite, drier comedy or are they more immature?

I died when Conan said, "hydrate, my boy, hydrate" in the Goldblum-voice.
The whole pervy groin straw bit, Gorley near drowning himself, and then Conan's impression of Jeff Goldblum as a guest and Nixon crunching ice ... I laughed so hard! I'm just grateful I wasn't sucking on a straw in Matt's pocket at the time!
So glad we can watch Gourley take out his groin straws.

I love that Gourley is clearly wrong piping it and his coughing is louder than any masticating noise.
I was just about to comment how this is the first clip I've watched where Conan feels like the adult in the room, and then he started going "CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH!"
This made me almost choke on my own spit to the same degree Gourley did haha, just from laughing. Absolutely one of the funniest clips in a long time 😄❤️

This may be my absolute favourite clip. I love the completely absurd transition from Sona and Matt giggling like children to Richard Nixon crunching ice while musing over incriminating White House tapes.

Gourley and sona always teaming up against conan is probably one of the funniest dynamics I’ve seen. I hope no matter what conan does in the future they’re always around and on screen.

Matt is so great!! Sure wish he had a podcast of his own, say, an easy listening podcast related to cozy horror movies you can just snuggle up on a sunday afternoon with your loved one and your strawberry refreshers and enjoy.

Word of advice for anyone out there: I had some metal straws for a while but got fed up with having to hand-scrub them all the time since metal straws (usually) can't go in the dishwasher. Turns out, they make _glass straws_ that are dishwasher safe! As an added bonus, you can see if the inside is dirty, _and_ when you've got a glass straw rattling around the inside of a glass glass, it's loud as hell. Sounds like ice cubes clinking around but they never melt
Matt's epiglottis had ONE JOB, ONE SHOT on that mic, and it choked up on it!! Lol.

As a comedian and talkshow host, Conan's only personal limitation is that he needs sidekicks to interact with / shine against / comedically abuse: Andy, Jordan, Sona, Gourley, Bley... his longtime team of writers. So he's become the head (a big Irish melon) of a lovely comedic family.
