This was so fun! Im so glad you enjoyed this. There are many more performances you should check out. They’ve covered sooooo many genres and artists. Lots that you’ve already heard on this channel. So it would be fun to revisit some of those in Glee form. In my dreams you would have enough time and patience to watch the show but tbh if this is how you react to just the songs I can happily live with that 😂Rip Naya. What a talent.
@@SalvoG Checking in your Patreon, I noticed you've watched a lot of musical movies that Glee paid homage/covered to, like Grease, Rocky Horror, West side, Rent, or songs like Landslide, artists like Carole King, Alanis, MJ, well, a lot of stuff you've recently discover, so you might be entertained by the performances.
Two of the best singers on Glee in my opinion! Glee is a lot of things all at once- a great show and a terrible show lmao. When it was good it was really good and when it was bad it was really bad. There are a lot of amazing performances from Glee though. I would totally recommend their cover of Paradise By The Dashboard Lights.
Glee was so formative for me when I was in high school. This takes me back. This show introduced me to so many artists from Fleetwood Mac to The Bee Gees. Hope you do more.
And to answer your question about who’s involved in the records. It’s the whole cast. I mean there are some people that have less songs like some characters only have 1-2 songs in the whole series. But then you have someone like Rachel (one of the leads) that has probably been featured on at-least half of the 750 songs. A lot of the show is group numbers so like 10-20 people on those songs. And then you have many solos, duets, trios, backup vocals. So everyone was very involved in the performance aspect and recording the music. Also the only “stars” that were part of the core cast at the start of the show was Mr. Shuester (played by Matthew Morrison who was a Broadway actor) Rachel (played by Lea Michelle, a huge Broadway star just coming off the hit Broadway show spring awakening) and Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch who was a well known improv comedian and actress) everyone else was basically a nobody and the show made them STARS.
I really liked this version of this song because of the great energy 😍 you have to listen to Tina Turner. No one ever can overshade her power. Addicted to love, steal claw or any of the basic songs. One great performer
Glee has so many great duets and singers honestly. I love a Rachel and Kurt duet that’s their version of the Streisand/Garland song, Happy Days Are Here Again/Get Happy. Give that a listen some time.
Sam and Quinn won because Rachel and Finn threw the competition and they voted for Sam and Quinn. And since everyone else voted for themselves they won by two votes. And they ended up doing “I’ve had the time of my life” from dirty dancing for sectionals as a duet.
What a surprise Salvo! Never would've thought you'd react to some Glee. Tbh, sure, Glee can be cringe, (I used to be a hater too), because out of 700 hundred songs not all are going to be winners but any Naya Rivera performance is a winner especially if dueting with Amber Riley. This episode was referenced in an episode of The Office. The show started with two story lines, the one about the teachers and the one about the students, but quickly focused only on the students because it was confusing the demographics. 😂. The best approach is thru watching the performances, (this ep. called Duets is perfect to introduce you the store because everybody sings and you get to know their vocal styles and the talent- Naya and Amber they most talented imo). Eventhough all the kids are very talented, I don't like them all like the ones that sing show tunes, or even some weak voices but Naya and Amber were great. Amber with mad vocals and Naya with style and coolness. The person behind the music covers is a Swedish guy, Anders. There were many singers in the Glee club do the records are counted as a group because most of them sang something and contributed to the charts. Shout out to whoever requested this performance 🎉

Who knows, if my luck would be so good, I can do this FT one day and binge shows 🙌

@@SalvoGidk if you already have but do you think you could react to more of Naya *RIVERA* solos in glee?! Like Valerie and Nutbush city limits!

Highly recommend dashboard! One of the best performances!
yes recommend Paradise too!
I was so addicted to Glee because of the music/performances. Couldn’t wait to see what they were going to sing every week. 🎶 ❤

Same, I still associate so many songs I hear to them being performed on glee. I was in a bubble of music before glee.

I loved this reaction! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the show, I hope you'll do some more reactions on Glee!
This show was my guilty pleasure. Such great music!! Unfortunately lost its luster for me towards the end, but the first 4 seasons.. loved.
I LOVED Glee!!!
Can't watch to see more of Glee from you❤
Glee was such an amazing show. I'd love to see you react to more :)
Salvo 8.22 with 'I'm sorry I'm sorry right over here' then definitely looking only at the guy's reaction....
10/10
The powerhouse queens of the glee club
Please react more Glee performances
Eric Burden & the Animals did a great, great cover of this Ike & Tina Tuner song in 1969. A must listen to. Ike & Tina did their original in 1966.
Ohh I miss Glee!❤
SAME RIP
So many great covers of this song. The best are from Tina Turner, Erasure & Celine Dion.
Awesome show.
Great choice.. keep going through episodes of Glee for yourself.. it’s crazy good

smooth criminal please 🙏
I don't remember who won this "competition". Did they actually do a duet in the sectionals (regionals?)?
Sam and Quinn won because Rachel and Finn threw the competition and they voted for Sam and Quinn. And since everyone else voted for themselves they won by two votes. And they ended up doing “I’ve had the time of my life” from dirty dancing for sectionals as a duet.
