Glee is about a fictional high school glee club which means they have competitions in the show. The actors themselves record the songs but it's not live when they film obviously.
6:21 The character's name is Kurt, his type of voice is a countertenor, a very high voice most of the time, although he also makes low notes (although very rarely in the program
Glee was my favorite show! I laughed, cried, felt angry, and happy... It touched on several topics. It was a show that helped many learn how to express themselves, be comfortable in their own skin, and own who they are. The musical talent from the entire cast is unbelievable! PLEASE do more Glee! Just a couple of my favorites are Don't Stop Believing and Somebody To Love!
Chris Colfer is a counter-tenor. He is a Golden Globe winner for the role of Kurt. Also, a best selling author, and starred in and wrote the film Struck by Lightening. The show featured a high school show choir and mostly focused on the lives of the misfit students and their teacher, Will Schuster and his rivalry with cheerleading coach Sue Sylvestor played by Jane Lynch. The other male singer with Chris is Darren Criss, a singer and actor who won an Emmy for playing Andrew Cuanan in the Assassination of Gianni Versace. Terrific cast. My favorite singer in the show is Amber Riley. Favorite song by her is Ain't No Way. That is worth Reviewing.
If you wanna hear more of Rachel (the one singing the lead) and Kurt (the one singing the high harmonies) you should watch the cover of "Get Happy/Happy days are here again" to me it's their best duet ever
One of my fave performances on the show bc I love this song and they did it justice. And it was one of Finn’s best performances. Like Liv said, he got better singing each season. Rock was finn’s sweet spot.
They would record in a studio and then sync their performance. But often times to get the sync as close as they can to the recording, they would sing during filming. So, the audience did get to hear them sing, but we hear the recording.
You should watch "Bohemian Rhapsody," from Glee by the rival Glee Club "Vocal Adrenaline." Singing lead is Jonathan Groff who you reviewed as the king in Hamilton. If you watch the "full video," it will cut out the dialogue in between.
For me the best performance on this show was Dont Rain On My Parade as the final sequence at the end of season one. You should also check that one out as well. Really entertaining stuff and "Racheal" has a standout vocal on that one. I always get emotional from the joy I feel watching that performance. (Glee - Don't Rain On My Parade (Full Performance + Scene) 1x13) on YT
I really hope you continue doing the Glee reactions!! One cover they do that doesn’t get nearly enough credit is their cover of Jump by Van Halen 😍 and one of the GOAT covers is Teenage Dream
This is one of my fave Meatloaf songs. This glee version cuts out a lot if the song. Great reaction. As for glee they do a fantastic version of MJ's Smooth criminal.
Yayyy!!! Ya this is a fun one. So ya everything (with the exception of some special performances) are all recorded in studio. So this scene is them performing for their nationals competition which is the final competition of the season in the choir world. Big deal. So that’s why there is an audience. It’s all in the world of the show. I think if you have the time you should def watch the pilot. It’s definitely not what you’re expecting. But ya the voices are all top tier. But ya I’d love to see you react to more eventually. Also that high voice you were confused where it was coming from in the beginning was Chris Colfers character Kurt. His voice is super unique.
Amber Riley's adlibs by the end of the song were a high light 🎉 Last time you reacted to "River Deep"were Amber Riley and Naya Rivera. Performances aren't live, but pretecorded and supposedly live inside the show. The guy with the falsetto was Chris Colfer. He usually sings like that.
@@andym2801kind of but I still loved it, I legit only listen to the group numbers if she’s doing the adlibs because it adds the extra spice to their boring chorus vocals.
In don't know anything about the others, but Lea Michele had been singing on Broadway since she was a child. She was (and is) a real "show" singer. In another episode she sings a duet with Idina Menzel, arguably the premier Broadway singer of her generation (you've probably heard "Frozen").
The world lost Cory way too soon. I fucking hate drugs. I cried for a week when I found out. My brother called me from work and told me so I wouldn't hear it from anyone else, and I begged him to tell me it wasn't true. There have only been a few deaths of high profile people which have affected me that deeply. I could suggest so many songs for you to look at, but if I could choose just one I gotta suggest Lea's performance of Celine's homage to Wuthering Heights, It's All Coming Back To Me Now. Its perfect.
If you dont see any microphones or musicians, then it is not a live performance. Great Reaction though. Watch the Glee series. Start with Season 1 Pilot episode. You will be hooked!
To be fair, I've done plenty of shows where the mics are hanging from above or placed discreetly downstage and the orchestra is offstage somewhere. But, yes, this is a recorded version of this song and the actors are either lip-synching or maybe even singing but then being dubbed by the recorded version.
Which Meatloaf vid did you do? If someone is saying the LIVE version that most reactors do was not up to par, you need to immediately stop taking their adivce.
Chris Colfer (aka Kurt) is a counter-tenor/male soprano. He has a very high voice, and often sings women's parts of music.

That one and "For Good" are my favorite of their duets although I like almost every single one.
@@KimberlyKohnYes! Those are both really good one bu those two.

Anything from Glee is dope
Loved this show. So much fun and talent.
Yes more glee please. All of the people on the show are incredibly talented.
Also Lea Michelle was the one mentioned on Patreon who played Fanny Brice in Funny girl on Broadway recently
PARIDSE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT IS MY FAV GLEE GROUP NUMBER EVER!!!
A nice version of a classic song. Even edited down it holds its own.

with one Glee song per month that will be 62.8 years worth of content.

My second favorite performance from Glee. My first is Cough Syrup.

Also check out Leah Michelle singing “It’s All Coming Back To Me” from this same episode
This is my favourite cover they did over the 6 seasons... so good

Amber's ad lib kind of muddled the song for a bit at the end tbh they were too loud over the actual lyrics.

Glee was Awesome. Every episode. Always! RIP.
River Deep, Mountain High is a good one. Also, I think you’d like the one with Gwyneth Paltrow as the substitute, Forget You.
i want more glee reactions for suuuuure!
I love glee you should definitely do more of these
Do some more Glee performances please 😊
You should do Rose's Turn from Glee, if you want to see a really good performance by Kurt, the guy with the high voice!

You should react to "And I am telling you", "Valerie", "Ain't no way" and "Smooth criminal", best of glee performances ever !!!
Love Glee! They are all super talented. "Defying Gravity" from Season 5 would be fun!
GLEE was the best show ever.... I think I need to do a re-binge....lol....
Can you react to "dont speak" is the best cover in glee, in my opinion.
With Meat always do the album version.
Please more Glee.
There is enuf interest. Please do a Glee Spree. Anytime.

Alright, goin' for that Retention Challenge! How many will be here for the full 13:25?
Trim down version of a meatloaf classic done well
You should see an early ep because Cory got sooooo much better. It’s just a great series in general.
Noooooo…..now you 100% HAVE TO Watch the Original video..by Meatloaf!!!!
Lol that falsetto is Chris
Not the same without Meatloaf.
meatloaf actually appeared on this show
@@siumahin9049 Never watched that show.
Which Meatloaf vid did you do? If someone is saying the LIVE version that most reactors do was not up to par, you need to immediately stop taking their adivce.
Why not watch the original video clip by Meat Loaf? It's the best version.
sorry but if you know the original then it's more of a joke. Thin voices and not really expressive. I'd rather stick with Meat Loaf & Ellen Foley.
More gleeee please 🙏🏻
