What an incredible season and amazing wins over top opponents he's had. His coach (JCF) thinks his current level is still only 60% of what he's capable of.
We realize the mentality of Carlos Alcaraz when we compare the defeat of Alexander Zverev, (in the final of the Master 1000 in Madrid) who found as an excuse the fatigue caused by the late end of his semi-final to explain his crushing defeat in the final against Carlos Alcaraz while Carlos Alcaraz was able to play 3 very difficult matches until late and win the US Open !
Yes, but we have to take into account the huge factor of luck, because regardless of his perfect game, he could not have reached the number 1 spot so quickly with this number of titles if the fucking ATP had not totally restarted the table, and took away points from all players, where in my opinion a great pity, Djokovic is totally damaged and crippled, and then there are Medvedev and Zverev and Tsitsipas. I mean, I'm not disputing absolutely anything Carlos has accomplished, he's just been insanely lucky to get to #1 so quickly. Everything else is totally earned without the luck factor, and what this kid delivers is fucking magic!
@@lazarbuzargic lets see next year, what excuses are you going to mention, if he is healthy and no arrogant mindset , he will beat anybody, I want to see Aus open vs Novak, and RG vs Rafa, but they are getting old, I wish Carlitos show up 6 years earlier, and we will see brutal matches
The scary thing is that there are segments of his game he could improve on. His serve which is very good could be even more of a weapon. The rest of his game will get better with experience, think about that. He plays such a physical game injuries could be his only pitfall. It will be exciting watching his career going forward. What a gift for the sport!
His coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, said in an interview that he believes that Alcaraz is still at 60% of his capacity. He still has things to improve, it is understandable he is only 19 years old, but being number 1 at that age is already complete madness.
Cant agree more with you guys. Alcaraz gaining experience while staying healthy for hopefully a very long time would be insane. Could also be very similar to Rafas career, a lot of injuries during the years. But when he played, almost always very competitive with amazing comebacks. Only time will tell, wishing him all the best of course. For the present, I am enjoying the matches of Alcaraz so much, because every rally could be the next "rally of the tournament or year". That is something I have never felt with any player, except Federer. The physical play, insane speed, shotmaking, power and talent are a fantastic combination.
Since Roger someone entertained me so much with their attacking tennis. Oozes next generation goat vibe and it will be great if we have an attacking player dominating for next fifteen years! No more pushing. Zverev and others in tears
I checked for Nadal and he went from around 500 to 2 (we had GOAT Fed at that time) in 3 years...then another 3 years to get to 1 due to Fed. Djokovic also went from around 500 to 3 (behind Nadal and Fed) in 3 years, then 4 years to get to 1 due to Fed & Nadal.
I think Madrid this year was the turning point from like a maybe could be good player to an established star, defeating rafa and novak b2b is just obscene
Do y'all remember at the beginning of this year when Zverev stated that "There's a new Big 3: Djokovic, Medvedev, and Zverev?" That shit aged HILARIOUSLY

There is one thing that all the commentators and players agree on: Carlitos is the fastest human they’ve ever seen on a tennis court. It often defies belief. How can one man become so good in such a short amount of time.
It's unbelievably staggering how quickly he has risen.
Alcaraz is a beast in tennis 🎾👟
So much at a young age. Keep enjoying the game and hopefully write its history.
from #42 to #1 and a Grand Slam in a year.......WHAT AN AMAZING YEAR,TALENT for him. very happy for both Carlos and Caspar

What an incredible season and amazing wins over top opponents he's had. His coach (JCF) thinks his current level is still only 60% of what he's capable of.
Obviously, because he's only 19 years old
If Carlos reaches 100% in 2 years, he could be in the running for Calendar Golden Slam.
En 2 o 3 años ya será un hombre,si sigue creciendo así,será imparable,a no ser que salga otro tenista mejor
Incredible is an understatement. This was legendary for a 19 year old!
@@pomerlain8924 Yes, Carlos can be the next Federer, Nadal or Djokovic if he continues playing this way and improving, amazing tennis player!
All that in 2 years. Congratulations, Vamos Carlitos!! 💪👏
So true.. Zverev's whining compared to Carlos "no time to be tired"...
He broke so many records on the way to #1 and will continue to do so for a very long time..
He will win at least ten
Spanish tennis is awesome man, nadal and alcaraz are two beasts
I didn't think it would happen this fast...but it did. What a phenom. Blessings Carlitos.
@@lazarbuzargic tried to seem like you were on his side towards the end there...
@@lazarbuzargic Luck has nothing to do with Alcaraz's rise in tennis. Phenomenal mental and physical ability has everything to do with his rise.
He is surely next big thing, a treat to watch. Contagious smile like Rafa❤
The physical play, insane speed, shotmaking, power and talent are a fantastic combination.
he got it all a century talent
Since Roger someone entertained me so much with their attacking tennis. Oozes next generation goat vibe and it will be great if we have an attacking player dominating for next fifteen years! No more pushing. Zverev and others in tears
From 406 to no 1 in two and half years….Just crazyy…to maintain that level is going to be the hardest…hope he wins many many Grand slams!
Quita 3 o 4 meses por la pandemia.
Seeing Nadal and Alcaraz play is a treat to the eyes
The stunning rise and anointing of the once and future King!
special talent born to play tennis what he enjoys so much
I think Madrid this year was the turning point from like a maybe could be good player to an established star, defeating rafa and novak b2b is just obscene
Both goat contenders passing over the torch to the one true goat.
ruclips.net/video/pwVQoV6drRo/видео.html
This is exactly when he catched my attention :)
Do y'all remember at the beginning of this year when Zverev stated that "There's a new Big 3: Djokovic, Medvedev, and Zverev?" That shit aged HILARIOUSLY
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤪 A typical Zverev....
That shot of Alcaraz at 11:17 in the sunlight after beating Nadal is iconic
Carlitos Alcaraz is unbelievable... he is one in a million great tennis players.. i adore him... i am canadian but i still am alway wanting
and now he is the youngest no 1 ATP in the world... what an achievement.. woooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Amazing montage! Reminds you that the road hasn’t been as quick and easy as it would seem. He’s put in the sweat and tears to get to the #1 world ranking. VAMOS, Carlitos aka my Energizer Bunny Boy!🐰🥰
I was busy in May with my daughter on the way. I had no idea he beat two of the big three in one tournament AND went on to win it. He was just one short of a Nalbandian.
Only player to ever beat Nadal and Djokovic in back-to-back matches on clay.
Well done - Carlos Alcaraz 👋👍
Tennis TV should keep this video forever.
its a joy and wonderfull when we have the previlege to watsh the best of the bests in any sport doing what they do the best.
The best part for me is that they make it look soooooo simple isn´t it ?
What a monster...the way that he goes catch some of those impossible balls its unbelieveble to see
7:00 - That point at Next Gen. Jesus. That is right up there for one of the best points I've ever seen.
He will break several record if he continues
Just broke a big one: youngest ever world number 1
His body will break first, his game style it's too physical and unsustainable over time. Injuries will come soon. Although it will certainly break some records.
@@sin.nombre.porahora Exactly the same was said about Nadal some 10 years ago....
This guy is simply umbelievable i mean look at how he plays he has everything like agility, speed, power, volee, service he doesnt miss anything
backhand
@@Emmanuel19994 what are you on about his backhand is very solid
ruclips.net/video/pwVQoV6drRo/видео.html
Lol you can't just watch highlights and say "this kid doesn't miss anything". Ofc he's not going to miss in highlights hahaha. In fact, his main weakness right now is probably sometimes going for too much and blasting his forehand way out.
@@raymondfan2402 i watched the entire game live so i'm not talking about highlights, yeah he can improve and he will but right now he Is the best player in the world nobody can say the opposite
unbelievable talent, surely will see more trophies in the future.
Now we need Sinner to up his level a notch; then, we're set for next decade and half.
Am still very excited for Alcaraz, even though he lost to Novak in the RG Semi’s, so he’s played in three Slams so far and won, one of them US open .last years RG QF this years Semi Final and lost only 4 matches so far this season. Is he someone to look out for? Definitely. As his experience gets better he’ll be incredible
Carlos Alcaraz could be one of the greatest...of the new era....🤗
What a great job wth the video. It already feels like a script for the movie is in the works!
what a journey! Congrats.
Now also Wimbledon champion !!!🎉
Glad next gen goat plays attacking tennis like roger. No more pushing
I love him he is amazing
Такое чувство, что Алькарас - это Федерер, Джокович и Надаль в одном человеке)))
Estou só agora vendo conhecendo melhor a grandeza desse garoto lindo 😍 e genial do tênis 🎾.. Carlos Alcaraz te admiro e te amo ❤️🙏
His first ATP win was in Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🔥
The new king of the court
You mean
Wimbledon centre court? no
Philippe Chatrier? no
Rod Laver arena? no
@@_MrAvocado_ Check back next year at this time.
He bageled mannarino when he was 17?? 1:45
What a amazing video thanks a lot 🙏🇺🇸
I love that nadal and djokovick looked relieved when the lost to alcaraz, what a way to show mutual respect and enthusiasm for the future generation
Tennis needs those champions. Welcome next gen. Welcome Carlos!
Superb recap!
WOW!!! Insane!!! I have never seen anything like that...I hope that God keeps him healthy because he is one of a kind!! !LONGEVITY!!!
Unbelievable picks , Good all round player. Great future ,no doubt , should stay healthy and not pick injuries on the way through and stay as world No1 for long .

There is one thing that all the commentators and players agree on: Carlitos is the fastest human they’ve ever seen on a tennis court. It often defies belief. The speed…and the control, strength, and imagination when he gets there. To compete, everyone around him will have to train harder, think faster, and develop an all court game. Next year will be absolutely fascinating. Can’t wait to see Novak face off against the wunderkind in Australia.
I'm not sure if Djokovic is allowed in Australia ☹
@@24carrot_ Didn't the new health secretary allow it or something?
