I believe on the Z790 extreme, the only reason you would install an NVMe SSD in the first slot (as shown in the video) is if the SSD supports PCIe 5.0. The reason is because once this slot is used it will force the GPU to run at 8x instead of 16x.
Проблема производителя в том что надо создать nvme m2 the pcei 5.0 работающая на x16 , и отделный канал 16x для видеокарты. Вот это и будет топ.

Between 8x and 16x are only 1-2% difference in performance. It is neglectable.
I built my system using the ASUS Z590 Maximus Extreme Glacial, the predecessor of the ASUS Z690 Maximus Extreme Glacial. These boards are developed with similar layouts and different componentry. The ASUS Z590 Glacial Extreme will only allow you to utilize the first and second NVMe slots on the motherboard (Both Gen 4.0) when using both PCIe slots.

okay i need to know what is that GPU anti sag bracket called? its awesome! personally tryoing to go for ARGB puke everything in my own rig becuase the thought of the most heat being from lights makes me giggle.

how did u connect 10 fans to the motherboard
Lian Li Unifans can daisy chain together so you only need 1 cable for up to 3 fans! so for this build if you include the single fan at the back it would only need 4 cables.

imagine putting 980 instead of 990 on z790 rog maximus
a ton 990s are failing right now, sony is accepting extended returns on them
@@whodiniweenie8131 980s are also failing which is why most new builds atm are using WD instead

Why not if your motherboard supports it & you have the money? ...the only problem people have with it is it's very expensive at the moment but does offer better performance over DDR4 if you can afford it!
