Another good video that addresses FO owners' questions and concerns, thanks Adam! For me it has became quite relevant as I have finally bought FOO in setup I had wanted. Only catch is that I had found it in the States ( I'm located in Europe) and with no signs of life (driver and 17 inch displays black, right doggie window stuck 1/2 open...probably batteries drained completely). Sooo, let's see what troubleshooting awaits me when I start reviving the batteries :-). (What version of SW?, recall issues? etc...)

It’s obvious that this person really loves what he does and he has good values and the prices that he mentioned to me seemed reasonable and fair. I do have to say though if you have bought the car for 20,000 or 25 and you owe next to nothing then your golden but if you’re someone like myself who bought the car full price, and by the way, I have a great mindset and common sense but I didn’t expect because I forgot my crystal ball that this car was gonna be this bad and offer no warranty aside from that. I think if you’ve gotten the car for less it’s gonna be a great thing to know that there’s gonna be great people like this person out there helping you, sidenote I think we need to look at our language saying we have to man what does that mean? What if the person who bought the car is a woman do they have to women up?😮

I was watching another popular reviewer, won't mention names out of respect for this channel, but here are some interesting learns from watching or at least concerns. He called many of the new service locations. Most did not yet have the FAST tool. One concern is that they said that, the ones that had it, said the software, like the poorly written software (operating system) of the Ocean is equally poorly written. It might seem like Fisker did a better job with OS 2.2 and might have neglected the software side of the FAST tool. Some of the service centers contacted said that moving an Ocean from an early OS to 2.2 could actually brick an Ocean. Some Oceans were bricked during OTA updates and you would hope a service center would solve that BUT some service centers recommended a diagnostic before an OS update, some said that if an update causes a brick why would be at a stand still with a solution. That did NOT sound good. One saving grace is that, if you have an Ocean with 2.2 and since there is not OS beyond, that solves the problem. If the IP is purchased it might be a good idea to hold off on purchasing a newer OS than 2.2 after a long trial period with others that purchase a newer OS. Of even more concern is hearing that the post on the Fisker website that said for the cooling fan recall Fisker would supply parts and labor expense to cover the recall. Now, it seems, that Fisker posting is NOT accurate and the cooling pump hardware will be delivered BUT the cost of install will not be covered. Seems this recall is a true safety issue and could cause a major accident with injury so, for a consumer not having the means to pay for the install and not perform it, seems like a legal issue which, evidently Fisker is protected via bankruptcy laws. But how about litigation against the note holder. For safety recalls of this significance, there should be liability and requirements to cover parts and labor before litigation has to be attempted.

Via Evolutions price list, very reasonable. Good to see him inline with the prices for doing work on a more standard vehicle. Very nice!!!!! And I like the price for the Dash Vent Manual Conversion, lot of labor involved and I believe his vents are custom built manual moving vents. Very nice as the need for automated vents is insane. And the keyfob programming, reasonable as I had a keyfob programming on an extra BMW key and it was less but the BMW is much more standard, so a little high but within reason.

I hope that the service centers are able to get the necessary tools to unbrick cars.
My experience has been Everything was great until it wasn't. I very much enjoyed driving my FOO up until it stopped going into gear (from apparently a bad software push or mysteriously failed component. My vehicle has sat in my garage since Sept 9th and can't be moved. If I can get it working agin, my plan is to enjoy it, as I was prior to it failing. It has 15,486 miles on the original tires, and the brake pads look brand new both front and back, even though heavy brake dust has been seen since new.

Fisker is pushing 2.2 slower than a turtle marathon. Meanwhile Ch 7 door closure expected Oct 4 and then 2.2 updates are at the mercy of price gougers.

@@Aslash304 2.1 started in May and by August, still hadn't hit the majority of cars. Rolling it into 2.2 and another snail roll out means the likelihood of us seeing the recall fulfilled before Ch 7 is now slim to none of the two OTA team members are busy packing up their desks today for Ch 7 tomorrow.

Unless you're a Rich Rebuilds type, why would you want to spend the time, money, anxiety, confusion, logistics and mental anguish pursuing or keeping this vehicle? it's not the greatest EV on the market and is simply yesterday's technology and won't get better. Parts, connectivity, warranty, service from afar, OTAs, thousands for a windshield?? Bottom line, everyone wants reliable, stress-free transportation. Fisker products don't equate.

@@K9Trixx Nobody who took delivery of the car thought they would not be able to get service, thought that the prices would be cut in half less than a year after the first car was delivered, and exactly one year after that first car was delivered, they filed for bankruptcy. And if someone did know they were getting into this, they would be so rich from shorting the shares, they could buy the Fisker mansion AND the company’s IP, and make their own new version of Fisker, imho
