  • Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin says he has selected a new foreign minister, after Parnpree Bahiddha-nukara resigned when he lost his deputy prime minister's portfolio in a cabinet reshuffle. But reaction to the cabinet reshuffle was lukewarm, with both analysts and Thais describing it minor and that the changes have not public confidence significantly. CNA's May Wong has the ground reaction.

PAP MPs should learn from Thai politicians and employ the similar strategy. If you're not chosen by LW to be part of the new Cabinet, quit and threaten a motion of no confidence to topple his government immediately after swearing in. CCS and OYK are most suited to lead such endeavor.

Yep. Even I didn’t choose him but he’s a good Prime minister.

Thavisin is not the man that the Thai people elected as the country leader in the last election.
