Hey man I'd really appreciate it if you could explain how you did the invisibility thing for the Sphere, I checked your invisibility tutorial but I can't seem to get my Sphere the same way. Thanks a lot for the tutorial nonetheless
@@86melancholy for sure! Step one: get the sphere or any layer that you’re using how you’d like. Step two: pre-compose the layer. (This step is important especially if there are effects applied to the layer.) Step 3: I’d recommend re-naming the layer to make it less confusing. Step 4: apply any displacement mapping effect (in this case the stock after effects displacement map effect,) to the BOTTOM layer, not the sphere layer. Also, you need to make sure the sphere is apart of the background layer. So you may have to pre-compose the background layer with the sphere, then duplicate the sphere and put it over the background layer; then continue. Sometimes I slap it on the wrong layer. You can name these layers also if you want. Step 4.5: set the input on the bottom layer to the sphere layer (again renaming them helps with confusion.) Step 5: make sure to click stretch map to fit so that the map is applied correctly. If you don’t do this it will look weird and sometimes won’t appear. Step 6: change the displacement values. And you should get that effect. If this doesn’t work, I’d recommend watching the tutorial again and following the steps until you get it. It usually takes me 3-5 tries before I master it. I hope this helps!
