If you read the bible in a historical and cultural context you realize he stood up for marginalized groups and actually cared about them(even if you only believe in the historical Jesus, he did this to an extent). You, on the other hand, are trivializing racism and sexism. You're one of the many reasons so many people have a bad view of religious people. I don't want to argue but you can reply, as it helps the algorithm.

I love that there's just SO much detail and thought behind every action in this fight. Like when Ip Man lowers himself to lure Mike into kicking so that he can target the lower body instead of his stronger top. Then when that doesn't work, switching his guard to break his fists - but then Mike realizes this, feints a punch then uppercuts the elbow out of the way to go for the body.
If Tyson had thrown the last punch, Ip Man would have hit the window of my house, but time's up.😂

I know the original IP man is the one who taught Bruce Lee. But Donnie yen isn't a better fighter than Bruce Lee. If you replaced Donnie yen with a prime Bruce Lee Tyson would have been beat down. Even though Bruce Lee knew how to box the boxing ring was Tysons domain. In a street fight as shown in the movie. Bruce Lee in his prime would have ate up Mike Tyson in any sort of street fight

Tyson was a fan of Ip Man 1 and 2, having said that he’s seen the movies multiple times. So that’s the main reason why he put so much work into it. Also, Donnie Yen said that the part where he punches the bag was scary for him because he had to dodge Tyson’s fists at the last possible second, so Yen could’ve caught quite the haymaker from Mike

It was a great fight scene and I call it a stalemate. The goal was 3 minutes and Frank honors his deal. I love how Ip Man never back down from a mighty force like Frank because he had dealt with boxers before.

The whole Ip Man series has a lot of great fight scenes, but this was my favorite with two titans of fighting. I wish Tyson could have been a recurring character though.
Both opponents fought with honor. Stopping exactly at the moment when timer rang. 👏 Respecting each other's strength at the same time.

The best thing about this is that it shows boxing as a legitimate martial arts instead of merely a sport.
So,the kick would've dropped Tyson on his knees, but that upper cut would've dropped Donnie Yen straightly into his Coffin.
That's where you're wrong. Watch the scene again. Donnie is slightly faster by all accounts and he actually stopped the kick before Mike even tried to start let alone get his upper cut in. That's why I'm saying that if it was a no rules fight, we've all seen Donnie who's extremely skilled in martial arts brawl. He knows how to take hits. He would eventually have taken Mike down

I'm gonna say it. Most of these comments are so brain dead. "Mike Tyson would whoop Ip Man, this is an unrealistic film". Bruh, Mike Tyson isn't portraying himself in the movie, he's a villain named Frank and his character isn't the real life Mike Tyson. He has his own strengths and weaknesses not the overpowered real life Tyson. It was not addressed in the movie that Frank is a world heavyweight champion, he's just a plain but strong boxer in the movie.
What a great entertainment! We know in the real world that if you get punched in the face by a guy like Mike only once, it's over

Душнила, это фильм, тут нет никакого упора в реализм, тут все тупо для зрелищности как и в 99.9% фильмов подобных, само собой правдоподобности тут никакой нет, но она и не обязана быть. В реале все эти боевые искусства вроде Кунг Фу того же к сожалению не так уж эффективны во всяких уличных драках, это только в фильмах красиво выглядит, в жизни само собой так не выйдет, и много чего работает иначе. Ты до каждого фильма где крутой ГГ кладет кучу "болванчиков для битья" так докапываешься? Будь проще, странно, что подобное вообще объяснять приходится.
