Mini Bird Tutorial

How to make a mini amigurumi bird. Small enough for keychains, random acts of crochet kindness, and mini claw machines.
Tools and Supplies:
• Medium Weight (4) yarn in 3 colors (body, beak, belly)
• 3.75mm(F) hook
• 1 pair 6mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill or other stuffing
• Scissors and yarn needle
• Stitch marker (optional)
Instructions:
Body:
R1: using body color, sc 6 in mr (6)
R2: inc in each st (12)
R3: sc 1, inc 6 times (18)
R4: sc 2, inc 6 times (24)
R5-R10: sc in each st (24)
Attach safety eyes between R5-R6, about three stitches apart
R11: sc in BLO around (24)
R12: sc, dec 8 times (16)
R13: dec 8 times (8)
Fasten off and sew last round closed.
Wing:

R1: Using body color, sc 6 in mr
R2-R3: sc (6)
R4: Crochet through both sides of R3 with 3 sc. (3)
Fasten off and sew to body.
Beak:
Thread yarn needle with beak color. Embroider a horizontal line between the eyes, fasten off, and hide the tail inside of the stuffy
Belly
Thread yarn needle with belly color. Embroider small X shapes on the body until you have filled in the desired area. Fasten off and hide tail inside of the stuffy.
