Bishop's dad was raped in prison which is why Bishop is so sensitive and obsessed with being respected. He never wants to be punked like his dad. Wish they would have kept those details in the movie but apparently it was cut. The only mention is Radamez mentioning his dad being raped.
Yeah, facts. His dad was apparently pimped out by the stronger inmates in prison. It screwed him up mentally and Bishop by association had to live with the shame of it. That's why he had so much self-hate and anger.
Two fun facts: during filming, Tupac befriended and knew the locals of Harlem. This movie was also where Tupac wrote Brenda’s Got a Baby from reading a newspaper article.
I first saw this movie in theaters when my cousin took my brother and i to see it at the $1.50 movie theater. It went from a coming of age to a horror movie after Bishop got the gun. That was Junior from My Wife & Kids. He was also on the 90s cop show New York Undercover. Please react to the following movies: New Jack City South Central New Jersey Drive
@@shuhebali9606; I clearly understand where you're coming from. Watch the behind scenes and you can tell Pac was just having fun with the other crew members. Personally, I didn't like how he had to play the "villain" in this movie.
Don't get caught up in role, it's Tupac acting that's incredible. He's not a trained actor, he studied a few classes but this is natural to him. The indie Sundance film industry award him a best actor role for this performance. And the scene they show presenting the award is the apartment scene.

So funny to your reaction of Bishop throughout the whole movie girl... lol... Pac was such a Great actor it made you believe he was like that, he is scary in this movie. Watch Poetic Justice and you'll see a difference 😂 React to more of his movies... maybe his interviews and you'll see a whole different side of him
Tupac was a good actor I wish she still was around he would have made history by now I watch this movie like seven times you can watch juice all day and never get tired of it he played the hell out of that part
Omar epps was young enough to pass for a high school student tupac was 20 when the movie was filmed im not sure on the actors who played raheem or steel
Tupac The Boogeyman😂 yes we all was wondering at the time the age limit cuz a lot of crazy things was going on in this movie😂 kids that look like they're over 20 still in high school woman who is over 20 going out with high school kids I have a request for you check out the movie woo starring Jada Pinkett and Tommy Davidson and Dave Chappelle it's hilarious and A Low Down Dirty Shame but looking forward to whatever movie you watch next keep striving and growing homegirl

For pac first role his acting was incredible in this movie. After poetic justice you should check out Belly, Set it off and above the rim they all must sees . They classics. Give ‘em a try and keep up the good content. Good job
Definitely need to put some Quentin Tarantino movies on your list. He’s one of the greatest writers/directors. Jackie Brown, True Romance, Kill Bill, Django Unchained are my favorite films from him.
Bishop fell in love with the power of having a gun in his hand.....addicted to the power of it. . ..or illusion of power that's what I always took from it....not so much because of anything in his past....
Good reaction, I’m old . 😊 I saw this movie back when it came out. I’ve probably only watched it 1 other time from start to finish. One of those depressing movies for me. Great acting. 😊👏👏
Bishops dad was constantly raped while in prison. He got out and he’s so traumatized he can barely move. The Puerto Rican gang alluded to it in the beginning. Bishop don’t wanna end up just stuck and basically dead as a person broke etc..
Tupac’s character was the like Boogeyman to me when I was young . A certified psychopath crazy enough to kill his friend and go to his funeral and hug his mother 😮.
Movie was definitely not a comedy. Even in a "lowkey" way, it still wasn't a comedy. The movie was written and filmed to reflect the everyday life of a specific group of young, black, low to middle class teens living in the projects. Nothing in this film is even funny, if you laughed throughout it that's because you projected your own sense of humor onto it.
@@antdag0d yes it was, plenty of comedic moments, it’s a movie. I get the premise and the seriousness of it, but some of it was funny, debate ya mother. That nigga Blizzard said “take it off cause you look GOOD” and yeen laugh 💀
great videos, i love your reactions, if you need suggestions for some lighter moods that are also great check out "The Wood" , "The Best Man" , "Brown Sugar, "Crooklyn" "Fresh" ... just to name a few lol
UM BISHOP DEFINITELY HAD TO GO! HE KILLED THEIR BEST FRIEND AND THE LEADER OF THEIR CREW. AND LILE YOU SAID HE WAS UNHINGED. IF HE COULD KILL HIS CHILDHOOD FRIENDS SO EASILY HE COULD KILL ANYONE ELSE LIKE IT WAS NOTHING. BISHOP WOULD'VE BEEN A SERIAL KILLER UNTIL THE POLICE HUNTED HIM DOWN. HIS FATHERS DEAL WAS THAT HE GOT GRAPED IN PRISON..MULTIPLE TIMES.
Ion like how hard you was on my boy Raheem at the beginning when clearly his BM was tripping and he was definitely trying but I love this reaction as a whole 😂🫡

FACTS
Oh okay that makes so much sense. Yeah they should have left it in
Ironically enough he would've wound up with that exact fate if he didn't die at the end because, as you saw, he's not much without that gun
Yeah, facts. His dad was apparently pimped out by the stronger inmates in prison. It screwed him up mentally and Bishop by association had to live with the shame of it. That's why he had so much self-hate and anger.
@positivelight5226 You ain't never lied. Matter of fact, they would've even taunted him about not having a gun while they did it.

Tupac was actually born in East Harlem and moved to California.

top to bottom
Bishop dad was rape in prison if you can remember the Puerto rican gang made fun of Bishop about it and that’s why he didn’t talk at all

Yes!!! Fresh is such a good film!
At 1:36 his dad’s manhood was taken in prison so bishop had a complex about being bullied by radamez crew.
Pac's career took off after this movie dropped. His first album was released shortly after. What a time back then.

I love how it turns into a horror movie with jump scares in the second half.
in the record store he's boy said something about the New EPMD Album and as soon as Q enters the Bar EPMD was sitting at the bar during the Robbery
Turned into a horror movie real fast 😂

The worst mistake was giving Bishop that gun he felt powerful with the gun in his hand and he wanted juice that bad
