I have actually been thinking about doing something similar. i have 3 panels right now, but i have a 4th thats sitting in the van. my problem is the slope of the roof. which is why i was thinking of something similar to this. a rack of some kind to mount the panels and allow that to make the slope not bad, and be able to make the panels tilt towards the sun. I love how in the video he has the panels pointed the opposite way of the sun, but that could be just how he drove it for lighting for the video footage.

This is EXACTLY how I picture my van conversion if I were to have one. He did a beautiful job. I've always mumbled to myself, PUT THE ROOF FAN ON THE SIDE OF THE VAN, KEEP AWAY FROM MAKING HOLES IN THE ROOF ! And this guy did it ! His design/layout is perfect. It's clean and tight lookin. Love the white cabinets against the wood ceiling. I wouldn't, however, put a utensil holder 'thang' in a stainless steel "dish" embedded in counter like he did, tho. I'd have utensils tucked away in a drawer. With just another 2 feet in length to this van, he could have a lil shower/toilet situation closet, too. And, I'd prefer a higher ceiling.

Super solar set-up. Lots of room still in the garage, just a well organized van. Love it.
That was one of the best and most organized conversions I've seen on a van. If that radiator fan can operate by switching the POS & NEG wires, a simple Double pole/ Double throw switch could be mounted on a panel, nearby. Wayne put in some good thoughts in, before the effort to create this jewel.
Nope…you must disassemble and flip the blades also.
lots of very good idea's in this van build, i like the cabinets and slide out fridge , also the tool area set up , very nice , and storage under the back .
He doesn't skimp out on anything! Lots of solar and great interior. Reminds me of a beach house

Wayne did a fantastic job converting his home. That is the nicest job i've seen to date. Really !!!. Everything is laid out and organized so well. There has to be some place to install a bath room with a small shower. I cant get over your home, honestly really and truely you have an amazing God given talent. It is laid out so well. Impressive. So many people with so much talent and they get pushed out of the system for many of reasons....mostly unfair. This man is a real craftsman. Mine would look like a mess😲
this guy knows what he's doing. he is the first individual that I've ever seen in a van that has covered absolutely everything. I would have liked to have known how much benefit he gets from the solar panels and what runs off from them. but all and all he really did a fantastic truly fantastic job.
We didn't cover Wayne's battery bank, but his solar panels cover his tv, microwave, fan, and even a/c for short periods of time.
this is what I want. best design by far and truly focused on what counts

Wow ! This is the best van conversion I've seen so far ! Excellent use of space and materials. I'd love to buy a used UHaul box truck and hire Wayne to design and retrofit it for my tiny home on wheels. Great video, thanks !

I have to hesitantly state that of all the interiors of vans I have seen on this channel, the interior of this van is my favorite. Open and airy and clean and appears large. I would like one like this for myself.
smart to cook in the back, and he can watch tv from his seat to his bed, he has everything and more , its pretty good he kept that space in the back for tools and propane ect... always fun to see your videos Bob

Would have been nice to see what kind of van it was.. like, was it a long wheel base ? With his air conditioner actually being inside of the back, it cut into the interior making it smaller inside, by about 12 to 16 inches. But it doesn't look small inside, which is why I was wondering if the van was a long wheel base van. Looks very neat and clean. Good build. ✌

Very very nice. So did he build that white kitchen galley? It looks like a piece of furniture. Very well done. I know you say the guys would like the garage but I think it would be very useful for gals, especially those who are artists. That would be a great place to carry your supplies. And it didn't feel like it took a lot away from his interior space. Cool.

I'm wondering if the kitchen would be better back there. So you can either cook inside when it rains or outside.

I love this interior! And that garage, my dad said you can tell a lot about a man by the way he cares for his tools. Nice job! Rather amazed. I mean, this is BEAUTIFUL. So peaceful and tidy. I didn't see how he washes dishes or clothes, but maybe he doesn't have many dishes to worry about. I saw the shelf. So where is water stored? I think I missed that. Great job. So clean, tidy, home like. Very attractive.
