Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for letting me show off my home! I love this community and the nomadic lifestyle 🫶
It's amazing what you are doing! I can't wait to tell a buddy of mine who is also paralyzed from the waist down about this interview and your channel. That entry lift is awesome, plus the others you've incorporated to make your life work. Thank you! ❤👍
@@Dancinbear1995 awesome! That’s the whole point of my channel, to show what’s possible!! 🙌
You are very inspiring, thanks for sharing @Keepinitwheel306 Lisa! Subbed to your channel!
You are an inspiration ! Best wishes!😍❤🙏
You are creating a wonderful life for yourself! Thanks for sharing your story and your home on wheels!
"Being disabled is not a tragedy. How society treats disabled people, that's the tragedy. "
What an inspiring story. Best wishes 🌻💛
I couldn’t agree more. That’s why I’m out to change people attitudes about people with disabilities. 🙌
My grandma always said 'what people talk and what the dog poops is the same crap'.
Change of subject but I don't know where else to go to ask it.
Seven yrs ago you did a video on a couple named Scott and Yolanda. One of your best videos ever! How to find out what they are doing now? They lived in an Airstream, he ex cop who had an epinity on a trip to India. Yolanda was already finished with there house, chasing the dollar and they gave every thing up, became nomads and are/were extremely happy. Just stumbled on that video again and soooo wonder where they are. An update. You liked them along also and if you don't already know you would live to. ??❤❤??
@@Keepinitwheel306I have tears in y eyes. You are soooooo extraordinaryly inspiring. I’ve lived with Mcs multiple chemical sensitivity most of my life. Recently, the past seven months and torn rotator cuff, which kept me out of my van that whole time. I’m finally back taking little trips out of time and praying I will continue to recover. I will pray for you for a miracle of recovery. I am so deeply in love by courage, tenacity, creativity, and commitment to the quality of your life. There are truly an amazing Soul
Kinda like they treat older folks.
If you think she's an inspiration from what was discussed in this video, it barely scratched the surface of this lady. Add to this six gold medals in the Athens and Sydney paralympic games, numerous world records and a member of team Canada wheelchair basketball. You can do your own reading on her being an honorary colonel, her honorary doctorate and numerous other accessibility causes.
Thank you for sharing this information.
Forgive me father for complaining that my life is difficult. You are a true inspiration. God bless you and keep you safe in your travels and endeavors.
I thought the same thing, forgive me Lord when I complain about my life.
I know I thought the same thing. I hope she comes to my mind the next time I worry about anything...........just amazing!
If fear is holding us back, this lady has just taken away that excuse. What a fantastic person !
So true 😊🙏🏻
What an extraordinary woman. She's an inspiration.
Dang - super impressive! As a mechanical engineer, she could make a full time living just helping Nomads (able-bodied as well as disabled) figure out creative ways to make everything in the van work! Great interview!
I appreciate this! I am disabled (MS) and my family insists I can't live this lifestyle. I am excited about moving into a van and know I can do it, and you just proved it can be done!! 😊 thank you
Vanlife is living simple and do it with wheels. A 36 hour to stay at a local state park twice a year counts as being a van camper.
I have Fibromylagia and spondylitis, I can be always in the nomadic life but here and there for months at a time. It's worth it, especially hitting up meet ups and temporarily traveling caravans. Surely you can do it here and there, cheering you on! 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
Same here.
I've can no longer walk b/c of MS but I've always wanted to live this lifestyle 🙂
She's such an inspiration. Definitely the positive reinforcement I needed 👍🏻
@@charofheart37 May be of interest to you. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia too, and shortly after, Ulcerative Colitis. I was prescribed a drug medication for the U.C. to which my body reacted badly, so my Doctor, who was South African trained, suggested I try Curcumin (the active ingredient in Turmeric) as it is widely used in South Africa as an anti-inflammatory. I did so and it not only drastically reduced my U.C. but totally rid me of the broad pains associated with the Fibromyalgia. I am personally convinced that Fibromyalgia is an inflammatory disease. Turmeric, and its active component Curcumin, are a natural anti-inflammatory and no prescription is required. Hope it helps. from Australia.
@@wyattfamily8997Has your doctor ever run into studies of tumeric/curcumin affecting arthritis? I have been seeing conflicting reports...
Holy smokes, yes sir, this is one heck of a BADASS. (!)
If there is ever a need to prove the adage, “It’s not what life deals you, but how you deal with it!”, this lady is the living personification! Thank you Bob, & thank you Lisa!
Lisa, thank you for letting Bob interview you. You are truly a ray of sunshine to all of us, and also those who feel down, discouraged, or inadequate. You have a can-do attitude that just radiates from you! What a great example you are! 🥰
This woman is incredibly inspiring. She makes me grateful for what I have in my life.
You are a true inspiration! You make me feel like wimp w/my uncertainties & fears w/ just letting go & living life on the road. Keeping your dreams alive! Love it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Same she's amazing.
Geez, I can never say "I can't . . . " again! What an inspiration and role model for the able bodied & the physically challenged!
We are all temporarily able. Make the most of it!
Agreed
Good point!
So true. Most of us will be disabled (terrible word) some time in our life.
“Outdoors heals,” So very true. Don’t let arthritis be an excuse. I have arthritis in both knees two orthopedics, said I need two total knee replacement, which I refuse to do. I deal with tremendous pain. Nevertheless, I still work I still walk I still work out. I still enjoy life. I refuse to let arthritis get me down.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@asmradventureasmrI found three excellent channels of Dr of Physical Therapy whose videos have helped me greatly with arthritis and other orthopedic issues. Like you, I refuse to let it keep me down.
Just Wow! A lady that knows how to live her life to its fullest. It would be interesting to interview her parents. I’m sure they had some impact on raising a such an independent , positive, and strong woman. Inspiring. ❤
Lisa is an amazing young woman, she is capable of much more than many people that haven't got a handicap.
Her engineering skills surely have helped her a lot in being able to design such a very practical vehicle, with great solutions to stuff that could, and would have been extremely difficult to find the right answers for, but Lisa did it all.
She is a really great example to all of us, go on Lisa and continue to make the very best of your life 👍👍👍.
I’m not disabled but those spring loaded drop down cabinets are super useful to me, I had to pause and sketch out the frame work to get an idea of what to do
Life served her a bowl of lemons. She made more than lemonades with it. Truly inspirational - enough said.
Right, she's figured out how to make lemon pepper chicken and lemon meringue pie 😂
I'm in a chair and want to travel so much...
Just do it
You can do it
As a disabled solo traveler, this build is amazing! I can't wait to get back on the road!
I am speechless! Words aren’t adequate! What an inspiration! 🙌🏼
Amazing! Awesome build just right for Lisa. Innovative, creative and quality build. Awesome gal. She finds ways to really LIVE!!!!
Proof positive that if there is a will, there is a way. Impressive young woman.
A very nice young lady that has life figured out for herself. I respect and admire her life. I'll be praying for her and for us all .
I love learning about "differently abled" people and how much they are doing.
"Disabled" is not a bad word. Don't be afraid to use it. I am disabled and I much prefer being described as "disabled" to being described with some awkward euphemism.
@@rinazm8856 I am a father of a disabled person and have worked with many disabled people. I see all this PC stuff as a way to gloss over the reality of people's situations. I think it is more about making "normal" people comfortable than anything, and makes it easier for people to remain ignorant. George Carlin has a great skit about the evolution of politically correct language as it relates to the psychological trauma of war.
Just checked out her channel. This mild mannered lady is a champion athlete! She is a world record holder.
Absolutely amazing 🥲. Thanks for sharing
What a beautiful young lady!!! She’s an inspiration
She is amazing
WOW
The utmost respect for this young woman.
IMPRESSIVE. LOVE WHAT SHE HAS DONE. CREATIVE. ENERGETIC. LOVE HER ENERGY FOR LIFE.
What an amazing lady! She is such an inspiration. Thank you and God bless.
I've done enough psillocybin to know that we are all the same. The challenges you deal with on a daily basis and have overcome have made you such a strong an absolutely amazing human being. Even with limited mobility you have more freedom, courage and appreciation for life than most people will experience during their time on this Earth. You go girl!!
What an inspirational beautiful young lady.
She's so awesome! I loved that she said she has 3 lives and will continue to have more!
This is a wonderful story! 🎉
Such an inspirational, resilient, and adventurous person. Absolutely amazing. We should all hope for half of her motivation, and we could get anything done.
Impressive very impressive
Lisa is a great role model. Love her passion for getting out there no matter what! Following her on RUclips and instagram. She engineered her set up to get the most out of life. ❤
Astonishing, Extraordinary, Super Impressive ~ Madam Keeping it Wheel306! I tip my hat to your ambitious greatness! Keep it moving🎊🌹🎊
An inspiration for patience, perseverance, and fullness of life with joy. God bless!
What a beautiful soul. So inspiring!
Very amazing lady
Lisa, you are awesome.
I work with a bunch of veterans and first responders, you're not only awesome you are an inspiration as well!!!!
Truly inspiring!!! 😍
Instant adoration. What a humble go-getter/adVANturer! Total respect. I am her newest subscriber. Wheely cool gal!🙂
What a amazing woman!! 💪 A Jill of All Trades!! She's truly figured out how to enjoy life. Im in a wheelchair but I can't do much as I have a brittle bone disease so I break my bones easily and have broken around 200 broken bones 💔 At times I was able to do certain things and I tried to make the best but everything caught up to me but I try to stay positive. I love seeing individuals like her.
True strength, what a wonderful story. It was an honor to watch this video, best wishes Lisa!
Thank you Bob & Lisa for sharing your lovely home & inspirational story
🙋♀️🇦🇺

What an inspiring woman .
She is living life her way.
Thanks Bob, for introducing me/us to this amazing young lady. I can't wait to meet her on her channel and hope to run into her someday on our travels.
This was absolutely GREAT!
She is such a beautiful soul. I have just subscribed to her channel.
Admirable! Makes me realize again that I whine too easily. I'm in my sixth year of full time vanlife and completed my goal of visiting all 48 lower states within five years end 2023. It is an excellent lifestyle .
Lisa, you are just amazing. A true, true fighter - and a beautiful girl as well. All the best for you from the bottom of my heart, cheers from Hungary.
Wow, what an inspiration!!!! I know she is changing lives and possibilities with this videos. Thank you for putting her on your platform. Amazing!!!
What an amazingly well thought out design she came up with. I'm in awe.

I agree with her statement “the outdoors heal”.
My goodness! Bless her heart and will!!
Thought this was going to be click-baiter, but within 10 seconds you get it!!
Awesome gal!!
She IS a Badass! She's wonderful & TOTally inspirational. Amazing woman. Thanks for this.
Bob, I've watched about 700 of your videos. This is an all-time great episode of Cheap RV Living...
I am so in awe of Lisa. How can anyone whine or cry about their fate when this living example of the human spirit is on display?
This video is so inspiring that I'd say it's the diametric opposite approach to life compared to the depressing video you did of the woman in a mask a while back.
I hope I am lucky enough to meet Lisa one day... I'd vote for her for President in a heartbeat!
Wow 😮
You really are amazing !
You just prove that anything is possible ..your spirit is refreshing and you are so special.
No more complaining from me !!
Super hero ❤
I am so glad to see that you are doing well and conquering your challenges. What you have accomplished is amazing. My sister had an AVM in 2001 at age 25. Unfortunately, she had a stroke while in the operating room to repair the AVM and ultimately passed away 14 months later.
What a lady! She is awesome!
Just absolutely AMAZING!!
Beautiful young lady, all the best and stay safe!!
God Bless!!
GREAT!!! Think I'll stop whining about my tent leaking and that I have to dig to the bottom on my saddlebag to get the seam sealer out. Thank you so much for sharing her story. I will also share this.
Thank you Bob and Lisa! If only I had a tenth of Lisa's energy and motivation! I definitely want to check out her RUclips channel. Maybe it will help push me out of my so-called comfort zone.
What an amazing woman!! Along with an amazing van!!! Thank you for your encouragement for everyone interested in vanlife!! It’s possible for anyone!!!! ❤
Thank you for sharing, You are a very STRONG woman and I admire your courage to travel. Please be safe and wish you all the best 😘🫵 you are a inspiration 👍👍
Kudos to this brave and amazing woman 👏👏👏
very proud of this lady ,a true inspiration
Wow. There is no way anyone could refer to her as disabled because she absolutely demonstrates that she is differently and creatively abled. She is an inspiration to all and I am sure that sharing her very active life in a wheelchair helps many who are also living with physical challenges. We can all learn a lesson or two from her about how to rise above challenges through adapting creative solutions.
Thanks Bob for showing us this amazing lady.
OMG!!! I LOVE LISA, what an inspiration.
What an amazing wonderful young women. Someone to look up to for courage and inspiration.
WOW !!! she is freaken amazing !!!. I tip my hat to her !!
What an incredible woman!! A real inspiration!! 💕
Wow! She lets NOTHING get in her way. Plucky, to say the least. It's hard enough to just get around and do day-to-day activities from a wheelchair, I imagine, but surfing, mountain biking, etc. - amazing. Very inspirational! Well designed van too. I wish her all the best in her travels. I'll go check out her channel now. 😊
This lady has such a gutsy can do kind of spirit.....awesome
So outstanding in every way! Lisa is just an awesome person. So wonderful to see!
Life is really tough but we all have to carry on.
Very cool seeing how she’s adapted things to make everything accessible.
A badass who put her engineering smarts to good use. Fantastico.
You are so right Bob Lisa is a badass for sure! Her design is outstanding too!
Lisa and your builder - Fabulous! You could have your own business designing and assisting builders make these vans so more people could get out on the road. I love the pull down shelves, the wheel chair lift, many seniors could also use that and it would enable them to stay out on the road longer in life. You're living a very full rewarding life. I would put you in the "Goddess" category over badass! Enjoy your travels.
