Hi. Thanks for sharing. But I face a problem here. Under Cast in my XiaoMi Phone, I cannot find my PC name. Under Cast in my PC, I also cannot connect/ find my Phone. Under System, Projecting to this PC, It show me always Off, I not even can on or have any choice. It is locked with only OFF Option. I already Open all my Bluetooth, Wireless Network. All not function.. Can you advise? Tq so much.

@@kamrulhassan Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I tried restarting the phone, pc and router and no good. If I click on cast (dragging down the menu from the top) my phone actually can't see any devices, but if I go into the cast option from my phone settings, I can see my PC. When I click connect my phone tells me it's connected but the connect app on my pc screen tells me my phone is trying to connect and my mouse disappears. i eventually have to disconnect on my phone end (I can't do anything on my computer whilst this is happening) and then it tells me on my computer end that "something went wrong with the connection".

I had to click some blue text at 01:28 under the main text which told me to install an optional component to be able to project to my pc, The dropdown options were greyed-out before downloading that optional component. After clicking that blue text a dropdown box appeared, a list where i could find that optional component. After quickly installing that component, the options at 01:28 were not greyed-out anymore. After that I was able to follow along with the tutorial and able to cast to my pc 😁
I have had the same issue as many people here that are claiming it doesn't work. Watching a tutorial does NOT guarantee to solve your issues. In this case, my comment that got pinned might solve your issues, but please don't dislike this video or any other tutorial unless it's explicitly garbage. This tutorial is great, but it just went over a crucial step. Anyone watching this video will see the pinned comment and will notice the same issue and will be able to get it working.

My Poco F1 screen won't Display on the Laptop. The only thing that is showing on my Laptop's screen is that "DESKTOP is ready for you to connect wirelessly" On my POCO F1 it always says "Tap to try again" I tried to Reboot my Phone and Restart my Laptop but nothing happens
You need to install the VLC player and also use the sndcpy. You can also use and external 3.5mm jack to your phone to pc and import it as a microphone .
Simple press windows button and click on connect button to connect redmi or realme mobile phones instead to go setting and connect or cast to screen. Totally waste of time post
