Yummy😋. I'm an American girl who loves Senegalese food especially Dibi Jollof rice and lots of other amazing dishes. I'm a chef and I've been looking for a recipe that I can recreate to wow my African friends. I wanted to know where do I get the broken rice I believe that's what it's called
That’s amazing hun! Thank you so much for the support! You can get the broken rice or rice bits from any senegambian grocery store or even some Asian markets. Otherwise, I’ve also used my Ninja blender to break down regular jasmine rice. It works just fine too. Hope this helps
I enjoyed watching you make this sumptuous meal. My problem here is, how do you eat the rice with the cabbage, carrots, cassava, potatoes and the rest. I meant do you take bits of the veggies with the rice before you eat or you actually eat the vegetables separately. I'm sorry if my comment seem offensive. Hopefully will try making this dish. Love you from Ghana 🇬🇭🇬🇭😘
@phenomenal woman, your comment is not offensive at all whatsoever! I really enjoyed reading your comment and I pray you’re super successful in replicating this recipe. As for the veggies, you can eat them however you like! You can start with them first or finish with them last. I personally like to grab a bite with the rice and fish every now and then. I hope this helps hun! Thanks for swinging by! I would love to hear how it turned out for you! Btw, I’m a Tadi girl! 😆💞
Our delicious Black-LaLwizyànan Jambalaya rice dish here in Louisiana derives from the Senegambia region's Jollof rice dish of West Afraka.
