Quick update! Found a USB dongle that charges the Quest 3 and works with the other earbuds (except for the JBLs...at least the ones I got - it seems like the JBLs don't work well when connected directly to Android devices and one earbud doesn't output audio). I recommend using a 90 degree usb a male to usb c female adapter for the dongle. Here are the ones I tried and can confirm that they worked with the ROG earbuds:

Quick update: I've tested the usb c dongle that's not bulky and it actually works with the rog centra. The headset charges if you plug the battery in the usb c charging slot of the hub. Unfortunately the jbl quantum don't get audio out of the right earbud when plugged in this way (software issue with android). So if you play on standalone you could try something like this. I added links to the description. Just keep in mind your results may vary depending on what earbuds you use.

@redcobra1246 First of all, great video! I love how you covered almost every available option for wireless earbuds for the Quest 3. I read on the ROG forum that some people are having issues with the Asus ROG Cetra not being recognized by the Quest 3. Did you encounter any problems like that as well? I'm currently torn between getting the Sony Iozone or the Asus ROG Cetra. Do you have any insights on the battery life of the Sony earbuds?

      @BIllusion thank you!
I did not run into any issues with the cetra, but I did run into issues with the inzone. For the cetra, connect to your phone via Bluetooth first and then set them up through the app. For inzone, connect them to your pc, using the inzone hub software, then after you update the firmware they will be fine and you will be able to also use the Sony phone app.
When it comes to comparison, for audio quality I think the cetra beat the inzone by a small margin, mostly in the mid-lows. They sound a bit beefier than the inzone.
However, the inzone for me are more comfortable because of their design and you can customize the tap gestures, so I don't start or stop music by accident. Surprisingly this made the inzone my daily driver but honestly I really enjoy both.
Battery life is about the same.
To connect to the quest 3 and charge them at the same, I've linked an adapter in the description + 90 degree angle so it doesn't get in the way. Hope that helps!

@@redcobra1246 Wow, I didn't expect such a detailed answer! I was struggling to find any info on this and then I came across your video. You've definitely answered all my questions!
I'm going with the cetras since I can also use them with my iPhone. Unfortunately, the Inzone isn't compatible because of the Bluetooth LE codec. The passthrough charging is a brilliant idea too, and I'm ordering it right away!
Thanks again for your super helpful answer.
      Keep up the great work!

Sup! I looking on getting the Sony Inzone buds or the Soundcore VRP10, how would you rate the vrp10 after equalizing them?
    Thanks for the review :D

I would recommend taking a look at the beginning of each section. I always start with the soundcore. I think the sony inzone fit more in the category against the jbl and the rog cetra. They also don't have the usb c input on the dongle, so you can't charge the headset if you plug in the dongle. I haven't tried the Sony inzone but I would guess the vr p10 don't really compete against them

I've now tested the inzone and they're definitely better than the soundcore. I'd place them between the JBLs and the ROG Cetra. They have really good software customization from the "inzone hub" software on the PC. Only issue I had was that the firmware it came with didn't work with the Sony Headphones phone app. There's an update you must do on the pc with Inzone Hub which enables functionality with the phone app. Sound is pretty good though and they're very comfortable. Just need to make sure when you're on PC that you select the "game" audio device and not the "chat" audio device.

@@redcobra1246 ahh thanks man, yeah I checked that some people had these kind of software issues but after resolving them they are pretty great! Thanks for the response after all this time!

Yeah I wanted to believe it was just me but I was looking at amazon reviews it seems to be a common problem. It's a shame considering it's one of the two decent options available with dongle usb c passthrough. I'll try using a hub and see if it's possible to use a regular dongle with the quest 3 so you're not stuck with two options

    Good day,
I would like to inquire about the compatibility of the JBL Quantum TWS with the Bobovr S3. Specifically, I am interested in knowing if it is possible to simultaneously use the JBL Quantum TWS dongle with the Bobovr S3 while also charging the internal battery of the VR.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

For me unfortunately it did not work. One of the earbuds didn't transmit audio. I don't know if it was an isolated issue with mines but I would avoid. The sony inzone and the rog cetra both have no issues
