***** Hard to explain. NES version just causes better feelings. I like music, draw style, game atmosphere, the whole gameplay much more then in SNES version. And also gameplay in NES version much more difficult. Just try both versions and you will see
So many memories- remember playing this- as a 13/14 year old, back in 1994 Christmas! I remember playing it with Rachel Lucy, who I haven't seen, in over 25 years, who was my neighbour, upstairs! Good times- such a shame, so many bad things, have happened since.
The sound is much more involved here than in SNES and Sega versions. Every action has a sound, even hair pulling, and punches sound awesome. Genesis is almost silent and has basic bopps as punches.
The way he grab her hair an starts smacking her, though! LOL me and my older bro used to play this game all the time on SuperNintendo. Good ol 90 days..
The Mildly Shocked Sunflower [SSB4 Replays] I love bit music for this game and the pixel art seems a lot more on par on the nes version. I mean look at the genesis version of battletoads he looks like shit.
Best version. NES developers really knew how to push the system. Everything about NES version is better, music, gameplay, graphics. SEGA and SNES didn't come close to this, it looked sloppy.
Ok calm down man, the graphics, responsiveness and music is better on snes, but the difficulty is too easy in comparison. 1 stage is evens shorter a lot easier: 3rd stage. Stop with the nostalgic gasm please.
I used to play this when I was 10 or 11..and i would laugh so hard because of the toad's big hands when finishing a punch. 😄 thanks for uploading! Brings a lot of childhood memories.
I'm so glad i kept Battletoads and BT & DD..... Found this one at a Funco Land in Minnesota back in the mid 90s. Had i been smarter or had a lot more money i'd have bought a ton of games. This is a special one.
What i mostly like of the NES version is how colorful it is,SNES and Genesis the RatShip is grey and shallow,it was good in the NES because it was blue etc
Josue Lobos Actually today I just turned 29 :). So great memories from this game that I used to play when I was about 12 years old. Older games are indeed much better.
+Josue Lobos he is right i'm a gamer since 96 and i have played almost every game in those 20 years and yet still i love old games ofc i really like the new ones as well like bloodborne, mgsv tpp, dragon age and atm i'm playing uncharted 4 beta on my ps4 but still i love this game more than any other game out there its just my childhood.I grove up with it and i will die with it.
I knew this game was top notch nostalgia when I saw how the Battletoads deal with women. Pull their hair, kick them in the ass, then wail them around like a flail. Classic Battletoads.
Agreed, it's actually amazing just what they managed to do on this thing. As for the 16 bit versions, this gets kinda tricky since both the SNES and Genesis versions had their things. SNES had much better sounds, visuals, and more animations than the others. However, that did seem to come at the expense of some of the sounds and music tracks the NES and Genesis had. Also came at the expense of the complete post stage scenes.
The Genesis version also has color change in stage 2, and the first stage has more animation to it as well (The color changing lights and the rotating screws as well), and lastly, characters used different moves at different parts (example, when the Lee brothers attack the enemy in Round 2) between the two versions.
woah, talk about attention to detail, i just now see shadows in the background running before the next baddies show up on screen! around the 35:20 mark
In the version of nes with the music it has, the gameplay feels more exciting as well as the sound effects. When the bosses appear in the snes version, the music does not change how in nes, I watch the snes gameplays and they do not generate the same feeling as in the nes.
I got this when it first came out and yes the Dragons are a bit stronger. I could blast through this game with Jimmy since he was a bit faster than Billy. Also Pimple is able to thrash this game as well.
LOL feminazis only want gender equality when it is convenient otherwise they just want to have privileges over men. Good thing (at least back then) they didn't buy that crap in Japan. Want equality? How is this? Because in this game everybody gets smacked- men, women, birds, rats, machines, etc
> Final Fight: ok, beating women would be a problem for our audience so listen, we just say Poison is a ermaphrodite so they beat a woman but they still feel like they beat a man, ok? > Battletoads: *Just grab her hair and kick her butt*
Basically, you had the NES version, the SNES version, and the Genesis version. NES was the low tech (but awesome for it's hardware) version, the SNES was the high tech version, and the Genesis was somewhere between the two, better in some ways for it and worse in others.
For a more detailed look at it. What SNES had that Genesis didn't: Lots of small details and animations. Far better overall music and visuals. Queen's defeat animation. Robo-Manus falls apart when killed and so does the Shadow Boss. Roper/Willy's reload animation. Dynamite tosser had a second fall frame. A fiery explosion graphic. Blag looks TONS better. Abobo is bigger, and his breaking through the wall is better animated. Flies toward you in several frames instead of away.
Battletoads & Double Dragon (1993) was the best game of my childhood. The graphics and gameplay are far ahead of their time.
That is an awesome helicopter, it flew to space!
when I was a child I couldn't complete this game and this guy did it so easy, well done
Music in 3 stage is great
NES version is much better then SNES
***** Hard to explain. NES version just causes better feelings. I like music, draw style, game atmosphere, the whole gameplay much more then in SNES version. And also gameplay in NES version much more difficult. Just try both versions and you will see
NES and genesis version are pretty good. SNES version is a bit buggy.
Marcel Weber Not really but of all of them I like the original better (the NES version).
For some strange reason it seems much faster than the SNES version. It should be the other way around since the SNES CPU was faster than the NES.
+Mr. JH True. The NES version is faster and the controls are much better. The SNES version is a bad game, while this one is awesome.
Dark Souls of my childhood.
+Enclave Trooper battletoads-3 for nes was harder
It's not that hard bro.
Did you know that Battletoads was chosen the hardest game of all time
0:00 freaking in love with this music!
Обожаю это песню!😃
Don't you Americans in love with everything?
@@Y-ot4eb ты это кому, КЕК ⁉️😃

VERY FUN GAME! Graphically its incredible for an NES!
The way he grab her hair an starts smacking her, though! LOL me and my older bro used to play this game all the time on SuperNintendo. Good ol 90 days..
imagine this in modern games in 2021 , devs would be fired in a second.
Better then 16 bit versions on snes and sega
I know right the SNES and Sega versions are incredible!
yes..
nah
I find the NES version more of a technical marvel than the SNES/Genesis versions, so that's why I prefer that version
The Mildly Shocked Sunflower [SSB4 Replays] I love bit music for this game and the pixel art seems a lot more on par on the nes version. I mean look at the genesis version of battletoads he looks like shit.
Epic moment !!! 13:28 👍 😀
Best Moment!
como en el video del Cuarentón Arturo!
I still love the punch sounds..... KOOSH KOOSH KOOSH KOOSH THOMP!
Que nostalgia, el mejor juego de mi infancia
The snes version was my childhood...that soundtrack was on another level
The main music theme of the second stage reminds me the speeded up opening riff in Nightlife by Foreigner.
Best version. NES developers really knew how to push the system. Everything about NES version is better, music, gameplay, graphics. SEGA and SNES didn't come close to this, it looked sloppy.

@@RealBigDeal22 in my opinion, nes music is better than the others
Dylan Martínez exagerado, SNES es
Mejor en todo
One of my favorite NES games. ˇˇ
excelente juego de mi infancia muchas felicidades un buen vídeo gracias

This game is always fun. But if you play 2 players, make sure you pick Game B so that you can't harm the other player. Makes it a lot more fun
Dud game a more funny. I was always beat my brother's jimmy
I'm so glad i kept Battletoads and BT & DD..... Found this one at a Funco Land in Minnesota back in the mid 90s. Had i been smarter or had a lot more money i'd have bought a ton of games. This is a special one.
6:45-12:25 Proof that even the NES can handle fully 3D backgrounds and floors! (And even objects in 10:40-12:20)
NES games from '91 on are works of art.
AWESOME GAME, NES BEST VERSION EVER
The combat in this game was so satisfying to me. Especially hitting guys with the stick!
wait the moon is destroyed. that alone will forever cripple the earth. the dark queen won from the start.
Totally
Damn that Battletoads Double Dragon hybrid intro is fucking amazing 😍
The way these guys beat up.on the ladies with the whips was crazy
40:48 nice hit :)
Truly impressive how close this is to the 16 bit versions!
@7:17 - Was surprised NES could do a 3D floor.
NES version is great because it uses the Battletoads' mechanics. It's like a easy version of Battletoads. The fourth stage is like a CGA DOS game.
The sound when he kicks and punch bro 😂😂😂 one of the best games on nes!
The toads would kick the dragons asses any day.
What i mostly like of the NES version is how colorful it is,SNES and Genesis the RatShip is grey and shallow,it was good in the NES because it was blue etc
This game is the real deal. Mega fun, full with interesting details. Nowadays games does not have anything of this.
you must be one of those 12 year olds who thinks old games are "super epic xD" and that new games suck huh
Josue Lobos
Actually today I just turned 29 :).
So great memories from this game that I used to play when I was about 12 years old.

Bimmy should be an unlockable character! 🤣
I only played and beaten the SNES one but I looking forward beating this version and the genesis one.
I knew this game was top notch nostalgia when I saw how the Battletoads deal with women. Pull their hair, kick them in the ass, then wail them around like a flail. Classic Battletoads.

Nostalgic
It's like I'm 11yo again)) Thanks, Dude!
one of hardest game ever!!!
ahah this game is easy go try some like battletoads or adventure island I
Battetoad's hardest game
The dynamics and duability of this game looks a lot better than the first "Battletoads". At least in my opinion.
Am I the only one who noticed the Dark queen was the only character who didn't have a battered and bruised face like the rest of the baddies?
In the version of nes with the music it has, the gameplay feels more exciting as well as the sound effects. When the bosses appear in the snes version, the music does not change how in nes, I watch the snes gameplays and they do not generate the same feeling as in the nes.
The best game on nes
I loved grabbing the enemy and shooting those knees to their faces lol
I am so sorry I never had an NES as a kid, and this game is definitely one of the biggest reasons.
My respects to you because destroy the ratship without Missiles
The dark queen creeps me out in level 3
My favorite Nes game 👍
The beginning part of the title screen reminds me a bit of Ac/Dc's "Shot Down in Flames"
I got this when it first came out and yes the Dragons are a bit stronger. I could blast through this game with Jimmy since he was a bit faster than Billy. Also Pimple is able to thrash this game as well.
Dude, why aren't you ever using the missile in the spaceshit level ?
22:36 Atari's ASTEROIDS??!!!!😎👍👍
Jak ja to uwielbiałem ;) ✌💪🇵🇱
Batletoads & Double dragon (1993) is music 2 stage > Bucky O'Hare (1992) is music "Red Planet"!
NES version is the best.
Woooow! Awesome skills! :-]
Is it me, or does the bass in level 3 start to de-synch after a while? :v
И даже складывается впечатление, что пройдено без сейвстейтов
This game is so much fun, I loved Double Dragon and I got Double Dragon Battle Toads on my gameboy.
Never reached the maximum stage until now. If NES at that time had memory card, that would be very helpful.
Gender equality at 13:30
LOL feminazis only want gender equality when it is convenient otherwise they just want to have privileges over men. Good thing (at least back then) they didn't buy that crap in Japan. Want equality? How is this? Because in this game everybody gets smacked- men, women, birds, rats, machines, etc
3:22 ABOBO SMASH INTRUDERS!
I've spent so many hours playing it with my younger brother. He was much better at this game and we beat The Dark Queen countless times :-]
Good for you, I could never beat the ratship as a kid. :/
How do you do the big punch or special attack?
Jaguar Overo You have to double tap the direction where you are going to hit and hit
Salvei o jogo quando tinha uns 14anos!! 👍
Great game
Great graphics for any nes game.
En el minuto 40:48 cuernaso en toda la boca jajaja 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
> Final Fight: ok, beating women would be a problem for our audience so listen, we just say Poison is a ermaphrodite so they beat a woman but they still feel like they beat a man, ok?
> Battletoads: *Just grab her hair and kick her butt*
Should've had Battletoads and Tony crossover
Bonitos recuerdos :3
the nes still amazing
Basically, you had the NES version, the SNES version, and the Genesis version. NES was the low tech (but awesome for it's hardware) version, the SNES was the high tech version, and the Genesis was somewhere between the two, better in some ways for it and worse in others.
Obviously this is better than the original NES game because of the toned down difficulty
ah yes, because easy = good and hard = bad
For a more detailed look at it.
What SNES had that Genesis didn't:
Lots of small details and animations. Far better overall music and visuals. Queen's defeat animation. Robo-Manus falls apart when killed and so does the Shadow Boss. Roper/Willy's reload animation. The SNES version is harder, but i like this is since is more fair and fleshed out.
I wish this was on the new mini nes. I never beat it..
J hack it and add it. Easily done, very slim chance of bricking it. You can not beat this game all over again. I never got past the fucking rat ship.
Never beaten the boss of level 4 on NES as a kid...
but I've beaten the game on emulator later on.
i loved this game!
And Billy and Jimmy only seeing.
Laughed to death with this game. So funny...but nowadays it wouldn't be tolerated. Too bad...too funny.
37:43 i m crying 😂😂😂
Wasn't battle toads SNES game??
You will beg for mercy when I am through with you !
I always say that to people in a robotic voice when they annoy me !
Always played the toads.
Какие же сложные мне казались мотоциклы пока я не поиграл в первую часть
This game is better than super mario bros 3
anyone notice abobo don't got a fight sign and in the shadow boss stage he fallow you like spying
Yeah, that didn't happen in the SNES or Genesis versions . . .
The best song is "ROBO MANUS Theme", is psychodellical,...
Gamers, is this game worth downloading and playing?
Very. It's super fun and more forgiving than the OG Battletoads.
so there was more than three levels huh?
I can't turn into the dumbell when I'm on the rope after I defeat the rat thing,
help please
Kevin Teran its easy just press left or right depending on which wall you are and then hold it in that position
