I happened to pick up both of these over the past few months. In my book, I find that the 9019 writes more smoothly and I really like the fit of that girthier body in my large hands. Personally, I think (for me at least) the value equation comes down in favor of the 9019 over the X159.
A black 9019 is next on my shopping list, love the x159's but now have a bottle of black ink at work to keep the black one topped up due to the small converter size. I know its not going to happen but my ideal cineese pen would be an x159 with Wing Sung 601 vaccumatic filler.
Have you thought about the Wing Sung 699 Vac Filler? I have a review on that one. It's a really nice pen. My review: rb.gy/ubn16, They come in smoke (black), amber (brown), and transparent. Ebay: rb.gy/7zcg9
@@thepenman357 yes but not purchased one yet. I am a big fan of vintage Parker vaccumatics and find the Wing Sung 601 the logical, and clever, development of that system.
Man I ordered some of the x159 not realizing there was a bigger model! I’ll to try the 9019 at some point
The 9019 is a noticeable step up, in my opinion. I hope you're able to get one soon.

Hello! Useful and informative video, thank you! Are you planning to make a comparison between 9016 and 9019?
I don't have plans at the moment, but I can see the potential.
Hi, look NIB 9019 more bigger than X159?
Yes it is. The X159 has a #6 nib, where the 9019 basically has a #8 nib. If you like very large pens, then the 9019 is a great choice.
