- On Saturday, June 15, an unknown male suspect used a knife to threaten to kill a male security guard in the Ward/ Ala Moana area, according to Honolulu Police Department.

We got top-notch police force here in HPD, but sadly, our court system doesn't back up our police officers. He'll get a light sentence. Probably be out less than 2 years.
We have the most ignorant police in the nation. They don't know anything about the law and territory jurisdiction. It's all a military occupation force. HRS 708. The only have jurisdiction over what they OWN. NOTHING HERE IN HAWAII IS OWNED BY THE State or the United States Corp. Impossible.

2022 same thing happened to me. Man tried to stab me in my own apartment complex. They charged him with Harassment and he got 4 months probation...
The police did not ask or legally obtain court ordered security camera footage and did not talk to the property manager who witnessed the man with the knife acting crazy.

Sad all around. Need more programs diligently implemented to help the houseless find food, slleping quarters, jobs abd ultimately a life free of desperation tmwhich leads to outbursts and crimes like these. All avoidable if helpful assistance is provided by social services a ag encies.

I'm starting to believe there is a batch of Super Ice going around on Oahu. The stabbings around Keaaumoku, the deadly accidents, the hi-jacker in Waianae. I see more Hispanics on HPD arrest logs with drug offenses too.

Well you can help advocate with me to have walmart and other places to allow me to carry my sidearm on duty. I'm security for Walmart. But companies, my agency, nor the law allows me to. Eventhough I have a CCW.
I hate to say it but we all have to take a active participation for our safety through self defense weapons pepper spray, tazers, martial arts training for self defense, pray to God and pray to Jesus Christ of Nazareth 😊
