Im glad your channel got reccomended to me. I'm a classically trained painter in oils and acrylics, and have only played with an airbrush, but am excited to give it a go. I'm working with an iwata neo air since I got it from my Grandma, but figured I'd upgrade once my skills are stronger.

Welcome, Derek. Neo will be fine to start with. I'm sure the tutorials on the channel will help. It might be worth looking at our online academy to get you started the right way.

OMG DAVE I TRIED YOUR TECHNIQUE of the finger and thumb and I’m actually doing a cartoon grinch ! So it should look cartoony but I used a couple soft finger shading and it looks like a real human grinch my wife said it looks like he’s gonna jump off the canvas ! So from deep deep deep in my heart thank you and I’ll tell you again thank you for your instructions you made my art come to life even when it’s not supposed to to look real but cartoony I can’t get over just a few finger shades made this grinch come alive !! I owe you a big pint of Guinness my friend !!
