i didnt know arch mage was a job we could have in FFXIV :_; how to unlock??? also I rate the tip about dying a lot! i tell that to everyone! battle high means nothing if you don't know how to fully use it! c:
Hey there! I play Black Mage, Archmage is just the title I use. There isn't a separate job for it, and you can unlock the title just by leveling conjurer, thaumaturge, and arcanist to level 50 (if I remember correctly).
Gear stats don't do anything in pvp, and the gear you can get from pvp that had level requirements and ilvl useful outside of pvp were discontinued after level 60.

But where do you get the pvp gear? I don't mean the ones for glam. I mean the ones with stats on them.
