You have some great videos on these cameras. I picked up one that works but the plastic cover that goes over the flash is missing. Flash does fire in low light situations and not when pointed to bright subject. Is it possible to take the flash plastic cover from another camera and install it on this one? Thanks
Yes you should have no problem doing that. It’s common that these are missing the front window so I’d imagine it’s pretty easy to do. Now doing it without making a mess might be another story! 😳
@@TeddyJuras I just got a canon wp 1 on facebook and the motor seems to work fine but when I press the shutter flash doesn’t go off and it doesn’t roll to the next roll.
Try cleaning battery contacts with cotton swab and white vinegar. That might get flash to fire. Not a good sign about the film advance… are you able to return for a refund?
Hey i have the same camera but for some reason after like 10-12 pictures the film rewinds itself even if i have a 36 EXP film in one time i tried it with a dummy roll and it took 36 pics but everytime i need it it does that stupid rewind thing:/ i thought that i maybe shouldn’t turn the cam iff but that makes no sense to me do you have any tips?

I got one of these and it didn't work, it starts rewinding as soon as it turns on and there's no way to stop it. Anyone know of a fix?
Nothing to do to fix. It’s faulty. I’ve had this happen before. Sorry. 👎
Do you have a video of you cleaning them?
Sure do! I keep it simple with household products. Check it out. 👍
@@TeddyJuras yea I’m trying to find it right now!

Do you have any advice on a jammed shutter button? Mine isn’t pressing down all the way so therefore I can’t take a picture. Please lmk! Thanks.
No. This happens often. I’ve not come across an easy fix. Sorry. 👎
