75 green life over time will be crazy in endgame tho, imagine getting a refresh on 100 hp and then being able to stay in storm for 7 ticks and still being full.. i guess it depends on how fast it heals
So the health is earned you just don't get free health you have to fight another person and win without getting 3rd partied. It's balanced if you take in all the information

You have a point but i do think that if they just keep the game the exact same for years and years people are going to quit. You have to constantly evolve or you die. Fortnite just experiments a lot.

@@itsnrv1817compared to the other weeks trials this seems 80 percent weaker compared to the others which are fairly similarly balanced so I don’t think it will be this slow

that or they might disable it while its active and then not have siphon medallions after that or maybe have it buff the siphon u get by some %

I was playing zero builds ranked not for lootpool but just because casual lobbies are filled with bots. I'm elite and it's pretty much players at my level anytime now. But the lootpool being different just sucks, having shockwaves as the only mobility isn't great, especially with the strong ars that are in game currently.

I dont want to complain because I love fortnite for bringing back tourney lootpools but... Damn I had no clue this affected zb ppl. idk how they will keep the build and zb lootpools the same, Epic games shouldn't be scared it a little more complicated if it keeps ppl enjoying the game. No one quits fn if there's jetpacks in zb ranked but no jetpacks in build ranked.
Yeah that's how I felt, casual has too many bots so I played ranked more, but still I think I prefer it having the tournament loot pool. You cant just slap on a badge and called it a whole ranked mode. Now, it should feel more competitive. Maybe back like how arena used to be

There has been no difference between ranked and pubs since ranked started with the exception of a small portion of last season and now. There is nothing competitive about ranked when it’s the same as pubs!
The 25 health, 25 shield actually sounds rlly good and balanced. Not sayin OG syphon was broken it was also balanced
you couldnt really do storm clutches i think like 40 health and 20 shield would be good

So one of their best updates is just an update where they finally listen to the community.
And then they are saying they gonna listen to the community for what they gonna do with siphon. If they are not being braindead and ACTUALLY LISTEN to the community they don't even have to do stupid trials and they can just put the normal 50 hp siphon in the game.

In my opinion, 50 health no shield seems like a really good idea too. It doesnt reward W keying too much bc you dont get healed if you dont get tagged too much and its clutch for endgame or low hp 3rd party fights

Why would it be ruined? Ranked is Fortnite’s most prominent competitive mode and it should replicate a competitive setting and loot pool

I always dislike the "just play pubs" argument because Fortnite has ruined pubs, I'd rather play pubs than ranked but I am not trying to play so I can go kill 20 literal AI, so I'm forced to play ranked just so I can always fight actually real people
Edit: personally as a typically non-competitive player, I love competitive Reload, the first Reload squads tourny was the hardest I've ever sweated and it was so fun, I think we got top 3,300 (16%)

This is gonna be so great for solo cash cup endgames, like when I tag someone and they die to zone I actually get a benefit. So hyped for this.

Aim assist on console feels horrible atm i cant lie. Especially on expo. Not to sure how it feels for linear players. I can understand nerfing it for controller on pc and comp. But for casual pub players on console i dont get it. Your at every disadvantage now againts a kbm player. Its definitely not ballanced

Aussie the reason that a portion of the community doesn't want competitive lootpoll in ranked is because it is balanced. Balanced stuff is boring. Now i know for someone passionate about fortinite competitive you see it as a good thing. The reason the people who complain about that is because battle royale has so many bots. Its too easy and just boring easily wiping the entire lobby. when playing battle royale with friends we just talk about life like the game is just some background activity. the old ranked was a good mixture. The lobby was actually pretty good and it was fun with fun items( not op items to the point of frustation). competutuve us a pump, AR, medkit, minis and whatever movement item is there if it is ever in competitive. Not a big portion of the hundreds of thousands that play ranked are using it solely for tournament practise. Its the top players who do. it is important but this is a case of the top elite making their voices heard louder than the minority. I'll probably get a lot of backlash because this entire community is about competitive fortnite.
as a casual player I understand that I can just go play unranked when I want to use jetpacks but I want to also have competitive games with movement and with fizz being the only movement in the tournament loot pool it kind of ruins ranked for me.
The ranked right now with siphon is amazing. I got on last night and was able to drop Hotspots without having to worry about heals because I could just kill for it
It’s funny the opening 7 seconds of the video he says this is Fortnite’s best update ever. We had all these features already it shows how bad the company is they put back stuff they already added made it worse. and now making old features worse is now considered impressive because everything else they add is complete horse shit.
A true good update would be only having guns in the game. I just got on for the first time in two years and I don’t even know whats happening most of the time. People are flying around everywhere like wtf.
Only thing left to do is bring back NA-East tournaments
i would imagine they'd take out the fire from the flare gun to prevent server lag during toureys.
ngl the ranked reload is super fun, its not super sweaty and you get rewarded for staying alive. i would say the strat is to have a person frag out and then a hider.
I feel like it would be cool if they do a thing where you get 50 siphon but after 9th zone solos get 10 more health or shield per kill so it rewards fighting as a solo
We have the flare gun (scans people) and a scan medallion, not my favorite meta as a more passive player
I think 75 would would make for more fights.
the only downside of this update is absolutely 0 movement in ranked except fizz. they should keep movement in both tourneys and ranked, just make it balanced.
