Didn't think I'd see the KO get an updated batch before the Takara one. If I manage to get my hands on one of these improved units, then I'll be more than happy to let my 44 sit and look pretty while the KO gets played with.

I got the latest version of the KO and I like it a lot. Never even occurred to me to spend 450 freaking dollars on the original. My Studio Cell Unicron costs less than that. Gtfo

Can you seal the oil tank properly on both side in the truck model? Is there any improvement between this one and the version 1 ko ? Thx
I got the version 3 and honesty the knees is a mess and the waist was loose and the legs is just terrible and finally paint chipping especially the legs. My copy chipped after 4 weeks getting the figure.
So sorry to hear about it. Mine is ver 2 and so far is fine.

@@ichiko_sakura Yes, I heard. These KO companies nowadays only release 1 or 2 products then shut down. I guess they want to avoid the law suit.
On camera in this video, the gloss paint of the official Takara is impressive.
Bots and Bits painted the eyes of KO Vers1 Blue like the Helmet.
Did you happen to see it? If so, do you think darker blue eyes may be better?
I think I saw it somewhere earlier. Yes it may be a good preference painting the eyes with darker blue.
@@teohnologytoys8196 my KO MP-44 is on the way. I ask your opinion because I am hesitant to custom paint my own toys. But I was wondering if you think the baby blue eyes in this #2, looks good. Or, if you think darker blue eye paint, from Bots and Bits MP-44 KO review, may look better.
@@spideysnakeeyesoptimusfan I would go for baby blue, so that it has the contrast color between the helmet and eyes.

@@spideysnakeeyesoptimusfan for playability, I like the matt surface compared to glossy surface. I can't stand after playing the Takara version and you feel the stickiness surface with your finger prints on the MP44. Lol

How can the MP 10 trailer stay perfectly attached to the MP 44 knock off? It doesn’t make sense
Allow me to clarify, I mean the MP10 trailer size fit the KO MP44, the MP44 indeed does not have the holes/gap to fit the MP10 trailer peg. The trailer indeed can be placed at the KO MP44 truck mode like how I showed in the video. I did not put any additional parts to do it.
@@teohnologytoys8196 oh! Ok ok. It be nice if they could make a part so you can use the MP 10 trailer for the knock off MP 44 or make a knock off of the trailer for it like they did when they did the oversized MP 10
How did you get your voicebox to work? What batteries did you use?
Use three units of L1154F/LR44 button batteries. Unscrew the panel at the back, install the batteries. Try long press the button to see if the voice sounds.
Where did you get the autobot insignia?
The insignia came with the figure in a small plastic bag.
Gotcha the new silver leg version unfortunately didn't come with one, lame!

sorry to be so loud below but I'm sorry, I'm not sorry lol It is a freaking waste of money if you buy a knock off in my opinion because almost every single single one I've ever had breaks. I have yet to have a name brand break. zeta toys is pretty good, magic square is pretty good from what I hear, I own the small Megatron doomsday or whatever. He's amazingly durable.
but yeah, this exact figure I bought and I swear to God it broke on my second transformation without any force and any snap. that waste part came right off, looks like it wasn't nailed in all the way through
Thank you for your feedback. I am a Optimus Prime collector. So basically I get most of the Primes and compare which one is better. Yes the KO stuff are quite fragile, at least I will not hesitate playing them compared to some of the official overcomplicated figures. For MP scale Prime, TE and Magic square did a good job.

I love transformers. My girlfriend's even into them now except, it's starting to become a habit of "I broke another one"
but they're all knock offs. Cross my fingers and knock on wood, I have yet to break any one of my three name brands

I can tell this thing's not going to break on me anytime soon, if ever and I love it. sadly, it's an MP-10 and I'm in love with the MP44 design. I really am.
I hear the t e and m s, I've seen videos, I hear they are pretty solid and they look amazing! I'm not crazy about the transformation compared to the MP44 as that's what I love the most about it, and the ingenuity with the belt... but if you think they're really solid and worth a try I might get one. which one do you like better?

You are right, Kubianbao is the MP10-molld but in smaller size (Voyager size). It is solid as well, I like it very much too.
@@teohnologytoys8196 definitely checking it out. I'm just wondering if the expensive name brand MP44 is going to be significantly stronger and more durable than the knockoff. I know that sounds like a stupid question, but I really don't want to waste more money. I probably wasted a grand total of $400 if you count everything that's broken in the last 4 months
