One of my Wei Jiang oversized KOs, the masterpiece Blackout took 4 MONTHS TO ARRIVE. Totally worth it though. One of the nicest figures in my collection.
The hinge in the belly doesn't look as bad as the official version. In the official it stood out as an eye sore, at least with the KO silver it blends in better with the front grill.

Magic Square's Light of Freedom is a solid animation accurate option. It's not horribly complicated, a lot like MP-10 with additional steps. Not frustrating to transform and fun to handle.
I’m going to be honest I think that has taken was smart to go with white I think it looks better overall and is technically more accurate. I think the white fits in better with other gigs too but the silver doesn’t look bad I just prefer the white. Both are good options
The new Silver KO has less of a panel look than the other KO and a lot less than the official so I appreciate that improvement. The official could learn something by doing a better official release to make theirs as good in truck mode.
Love the tighter tolerances and clicky ratchets, and that silver is glorious; plus the MP-44 voices and usable truck cab. But I just can't with that Galapagos tortoise backpack, and that truck rear end is fugly as all get-out. I keep hoping TE will release a premium (non-cel) painted version. And maybe someone can put the voices in his rifle, someday. But this color scheme just took TE out of "definite" territory for me, and made it more of a difficult decision. There was no way I would even consider this mold--until now.
I have white magic square freedom leader, mp-10, TE-01 op leader in regular colors and black and silver leg ko mp-44 which cost me as much as one official MP-44!
"Silver leg is kinda MP10-ish..." Not even. It ain't even MP01-ish, they had gray legs! But it does look pretty nice with the silver. In exchange for the silver painted hips & thighs, they've taken away the chromed out grilles, gas tanks (both the leg ones and the faux ones on the truck), & smokestacks, replacing them with the silver paint. Silver paint on those things seems more show accurate, but the white hips & thighs are more show accurate to a degree, while the silver (and the chrome) is more toy accurate.
QUESTION: - Which has better quality plastic toughness and sturdiness? KO MP44 White Leg or Silver Leg? - Which has more accessories included? White or Silver version? - Which KO version have fixed the Knee Joint issue from the official version?

Mine just came today, I used your link if that helps you in some way. It's fantastic in every way except the matrix is missing the orange/gold paint on the matrix. Does your copy have the same problem? I did message the store about it!
hey Ben, do you think it's made any better than their last one? The last Wan Xiang MP44 I bought broke on like my second or third transformation. It was the piece that connects the torso to the hips, that middle piece that's known for breaking. I wonder if they did that any better? or if I would just be wasting my money again...

Mine broke twice. The first time, ShowZ sent me a replacement. After the second time, I went on thingiverse, found an stl file for it, uploaded it to shapeways, and bought an aluminum version. It’s set to arrive in a few weeks, hopefully it’s all the right size.

I don't think I'll ever get over how awful the transformation is for the MP44 mold. All those tiny little tabs and hinges, I would get frustrated before I made it halfway

MP 44 is a Great Prime wish it wasn't as Complicated to Transform
That's my problem. I'm looking to upgrade from Earthrise already but everything looks like it takes 10 mins to transform. I like to be done in 1 or 2.

The painted eyes on this build is also a solid bonus!

I just got ko silver leg. Pretty damn good figure even for a ko. Alot of parts are almost too tight lol.

Why doesn't TE - Prime paint that hinge a matching color? It sticks out like a belly button and I can't get past it.
Every version I've bought has cheap gray paint that's always chipped out of the box. I wish they'd release a decal set for the gray chest

I had trouble with MP-01 when I got it at release. When I look at current gen MP's, all I see are 1000 piece, interconnected jigsaw puzzles.
Mine is already stateside but has been sitting in customs for almost a week now. I expect it to move within the postal system in a couple of days.
I miss when these type of ko reviews were so much more frequent.

Not even. It ain't even MP01-ish, they had gray legs! But it does look pretty nice with the silver. I don't get why they didn't paint the gray "ribs/flanks" and the faceplate in a metallic way also.
If I get this one, I'll have to customize that.
