Good morning friend, I have a Honda GX 630 engine that explodes a lot when I accelerate fully. When I decelerate it returns to normal. What could be causing this?
were you able to find a control box that fits on a gx series that didn't originally come with one? I have gx690. Ive looked and I can find the control box for sale but can't find a wire harness to plug into the two wires coming from the engine that will hook into the contr. (2 grey wires for rectifier/ 1 black yellow wire to solenoid/ one black wire coming from coils.). the research I've done says this engine needs grounded to start, unlike others that ground to shut off. Any thoughts? -Dylan
I may be mistaken but I believe the spark plug wire facing the cylinder or the flywheel is the most important part. I know they do not work if installed upside down.

How to you know what coil is left and right. I ordered a set for a gx620 and one is white and the other is black

Have you had any issues with no spark on these engines I have one on a generator and no matter what I do I can’t get spark
@@bergan1227 check that you have not overtorqued the spark plug, it can happen. The gap gets smashed closed.
