You forgot one: Got to satori mountain and grab a ton of durian fruits, they're great for extra heart dishes.
This tip is great, I forgot about it!
Actually I almost do not cook anything just elixir to increase status :D
There's a lot in there, but Satori is way more accessible early on when you don't have a lot of stamina.
Faron Tower is a great place to use for a grinding spot, but enemies in the jungle are quite difficult to fight and like others have previously, it takes a while to get there and isn't a good idea for speedrunning
Game breakers. I prefer experimenting.
Jtfh6bg7hiivlijonu。9
don't forget to look closely at the bows of enemies on floating platforms. I've encountered a bunch that are using lynel bows on the platforms. Helps A LOT.
great tip! :) tnx
SwitchLife Games when you first start divine beast nah Vaboris, there is two bokoblins each with Lynel bows and shock arrows
LM AO but I completed Divine Beast Vah Naboris and the others.
I had one with a Lynel bow (shooting 5 arrows) and on top of that it had bomb arrows.
same I found one next to a bridge in the faron region
Extra tip:
When you go to Hyrule Castle, bring an electricity weapon so that when you hit the enemies they will drop their weapon and you won’t have to kill them.
Majora's Mask pretty much makes combat MUCH easier.
MUCHCHH
first I have to find it
lol
+Tim B
The nintendo increased the difficulty of the enemies, but it gave the chance to balance the game in the same way with the flying chests and set of the DLC...
Master Mode is not hard after these tips
yeah but the majoras mask makes it lame what's the fun in it
Sgt. Barrel surviving
Great strategy, I can't remember if the ancient horse armor was a part of the first pack or the second, but here's how I like to handle Master Mode right after leaving the Great Plateau:
1. Get Majora's Mask
2. Tame & register a horse
3. Find the Ancient Horse Saddle & equip it
4. Circle around East & enter Hyrule Castle from the back (Lockup & Docks)
5. Get the Hylian Shield, Thunderblade, and the Falcon Bow
6. Exit and head West, take care of Vah Medoh for Revali's Gale
7. Head to Gerudo Town and take care of Vah Naboris for Urbosa's Fury
For those interested in a quick explanation of why: Majora's Mask keeps humanoid monsters (and their Stal variants) from harassing while you build your arsenal. Getting a horse makes travel far more safe and quick, but the Ancient Horse Saddle will give you more freedom in almost every way imaginable by allowing your horse to teleport to you when you call for it. Then you can just take the East path around to the back of Hyrule Castle, hitting up all the stables along the way. Once you get the Hylian Shield, Guardians become far less of a risk. I recommend Vah Medoh before Vah Naboris, simply because Revali's Gale can be used offensively with bows, defensively by escaping Guardians, and otherwise strategically when traversing the map. Getting to Gerudo Town can be a pain in the ass, so travelling on high grounds is favorable. The rest of the game is a breeze when you get Urbosa's Fury. That's the turning point of Master Mode, when things start to feel more in your control.
If you're completing shrines, max out your stamina first. Most enemies that can destroy you in one blow with 3 hearts will most likely do the same if you have 4 hearts. You'll spend most of your time avoiding them until you're offensively capable, but having low stamina makes dealing with them (either by avoiding or confronting them) much harder. Because of how quickly stamina depletes, it's easy to burn through stamina wheels and blow through your supply of stamina recovery food items. The extra stamina will also allow you to deliver more damage, so it's a no-brainer.
Pink Shades Also farm hearty durians! Cook 5 of them, and you have 20 temporary hearts, it’s amazing
ty this is actually a great game plan i think might use this when i play master mode in a few min. And yes, I still haven’t played it yet
The most clever and thought-out tip in the entire game. it will help you complete the game with ease:
don't die.
😂
GOOD ONE 😂
Why is this funny.
Yuying Zhang thanks helped a lot!
Yuying Zhang I
My tip is to get majoras mask then get some electrical stuff and go straight to hyrule castle get the weapons and run away
Alright today, I will give you master mode tips find majoras mask, it serves as every mask combined, also, get a horse to help you travel. Find the phantom armor set at the start of the game, it gives you alot of great boosts, and get some great floating chests, you can find weapon masterpieces, also. Kill some enemies in hyrule castle, explore it... You get fabulous loot. And don't forget to find the chests in there too. Also, at the start, get the hylian shield it is worth your time. And use elemental weapons to stay warm/cold and use fire to melt ice blocks. Thats all for today folks, hope you enjoyed these tips.
is this just a summary or are you some crappy 2 year old finding ways to get attention?
i actually don't know.
First thing I did was head to Faron tower, stock up in durians, cook 5 at a time get 20 extra hearts and then you can build up your stamina without worrying about health. Warp back whenever you need to harvest more.
Oooh that’s smart, gonna have to try that on this run
Better to focus on real hearts and get master sword earlier imo
@@Tino_Tino_Tino master sword first then convert your hearts into stamina via the demon statue 😉
The trick with the meteor and blizzard rods I actually discovered on my own in normal mode months ago. Link started overheating because I was wearing a great flameblade in a warmer environment. Fire/ice weapons come in handy when exploring snowy areas or the desert.
This helps a lot
- SkibblePasta - why is it that my friend was freezing to death with a great flame blade equipped but was fine when he switched to a torch
MAHBOI mastermode is what all true warriors strived for
Cave spider in a suit HD \ im so hungry i can eat an octorok!
A really mean person I wonder what's for dinner?
i just imagined sidon telling link " *join me link and i'll make our ship the greatest in hyrule or else you will DIE* "because of you 😂
MXC I did it no damage
Yeah XD Took me like 30 tries. LOL
Thanks man! Your channel and your skills are pretty amazing!
😉 thankyou for watch!
This helped me a lot thanks
Best guide for master mode I've watched so far. The only thing I would change is Blizzard/Fire rod for any fire/ice weapon 🤘🏻
Bro keep up the GREAT content!
Intro is great right now not to short, not too long👍🏽
:)
blizzard rod/fire rod tactic works with elemental weapons also
Literally did all this, in the same order you showed it too. (before i watched this), but still very helpful video and made me feel smart. Thanks :D
Awesome! :D
thanktyouu
Lol I already did all this before this video but I’m glad you’re sharing these tips for other players
Thankyou bro!
Also the Korogu mask can be really helpful if you want to get max amount of weapons without looking it up.
Korok*
Good vid! Only thing I would say is that it's MUCH easier to just use shock weapons (melee or arrows) on the enemies in the castle to get their weapons
Great tip!!
Wow... and to think that I decided to play master mode wearing Majora’s Mask all the time on as an inside joke and turned out to be helpful
Horses are truly useful in Master Mode, especially at night. Even horses with spots can make the difference between winning and dying.
My pro tips:
- learn how to chain sneakstrikes, 8x dmg.
- enemies on floating platform gives elemental arrows and early powerful bows in early game. And don't forget the chests of course.
- shiekah armor is your primary armor.
- get full climbing set early on, and you get some powerful guardian gear on the road.
- more silver enemies = more gems = more rupees.
- increase weapon capacity early, so i rush into the lost woods.
I don't go to hyrule castle, i don't use majora's mask and phantom gear. And still, it's not that difficult.
Thanks, this helps.
:)
If you have any questions, call me!
Ok,what's your number
obviously it doesn't matter AS much since you still beat it but why not switch back to phantom helm during Stalnox?
It would be an interesting master mode challenge to see Majora's mask pseudo locked behind first acquiring all the monster masks first, but I can see that for the first few runs and for most players, the mask will enable people to become familiar with Master Mode's innate difficulty.
You can also use the standard Stasis if you want to take out all of the balloons supporting a platform if you don't want to risk loosing the metal chest in the water.
Gaiacrusher9fan2 you'll need ravali's gale to do it sometimes
I am replaying master mode but I’m only using majoras mask if absolutely necessary it’s a lot more fun when things aren’t just handed to you
I never even new I was doing these pro strategies already
For number 2 id rather use the T.P link amiibo to get epona.
ethan cobabe me too I have her so it’s going to make it easier
Not all people(most don’t) have amiibos so he did not include it
wow it looks beautiful
I'm not the only one doing a master mode, pro, 3 hearts, no stamina upgrades and no champions abilities run :D
I'm trying to finish the trail of the sword and all the shrines that are available before any divine beast fight.
Then I will fight ganon, without finishing the divine beasts
(Not as hard though)
Inferno Fennekin same!
Miniera I know beard bear can pass that run, receiving almost no damage, even he can pass it without armor
Anastasia Klyuch nice that's cool!
Same. Got rekt left and right tho lol
#1: Git gud
Master mode is quite hard if you aren't well prepared, so these tips also help
You were right about using the hylian shield only for important things because getting it back is quite expensive; you need to do like a large side quest and have 3000 rupees for buying it if you lost it
Thank you for commenting! And about Hylian Shield, really the player must be careful to use it because to get another only in the terry town.
It is possible to duplicate the hylian shield but requires 9 bows slots. And 9 3x or 5x bows
you should add the locations of where the stuff is though, or at least link to videos if you have already guides to that ^^
Some of those castle enemies you COULD be sneak striking. Thus saving on durability.
Is this with a DLC? I might get this game for Christmas
Elemental swords and greatswords work too
Also I did a glitch from one of your old videos bit after the dlc update it was patched so my world is empty with no enemies or npcs, do you know a way to fix it yet?
I have not found any way to use glitch yet(after dlc)
SwitchLife Games Just another quick question I just saw your gerudo town guardian village was that taken before dlc.
yes :)
Were hours before the DLC
Most useful item in master mode,
MAJORAS MASK
So, the list is:
1. Spend Money
2. Spend Money
3. Take a horse
4. Loot chests
5. Go to Hyrule Castle
6. Get a good shield at Hyrule Castle
7. Get Blizzard/Fire Rod
to be fair i think both come with the master mode dlc
Could've u locate da hylian shield, can u do that next time
I'd like to somehow do a collaboration with you XD this is amazing, I subbed
:D maybe one day!
Tnks for subb!
Where is a good place to find the meteor rod or fire rod whichever is better
Near Namika Ozz Shrine
Wizzrobes have now the upgraded versions. Too bad they still have elemental weaknesses!
I'd add 2 things: (1) a korok leaf ROCKS! With one hit, you'll push non-giant enemies into the water or down a cliff. And in the beginning of the game, set your leaf on fire to kill any moblin you meet in a few hits. (2) sneakstrike all the way: pick your strongest weapon, hit once with it: it will deal 8X damage. Continue with a normal weapon.
Haha, I already literally did everything you said in this video, guess we had the same idea
:D Wow, how cool!
I have Fierce Deity set :)
Pro Tip, one and only: Defeat lynel before you step off the great plateau.
It’s easy if you get the knights claymore and 70 arrows + some attack up potions.
@@rileygrill2369 Yes but you worked too hard.
ruclips.net/video/dXb-jqvf0EU/видео.html (disclaimer: not my video).
Question : does the floating chests respawn after blood moon?
Ansem999 No chests don't respawn.
Thanks for accepting my friend request :D
Great video, I'll make use of your tips in my Master Mode run!
Np :)
They are some interesting tips, because doing this the whole process will be easier :D
Nice video thanks!
:)
shouldve done one section that applies to everyone, and one that only applies to people with the dlcs. it makes it organized and makes this be more liable for people who dont have the dlcs
Only people with DLC can play in master mode :)
@@SwitchLifeBr oh crap, you're right omg. Pfft I forgot that master mode came with dlc. Sorry lol.
Np 🤭😉
Another tip is to farm fairies,if you remove all armour and weapons you can sneak up on them and collect them
Wait..... Castle theme is Zelda's lullaby slowed waaaaay down?
Aaron Millager yes and ganons theme.
Yup. A lot of the music in this game comes from other ones. I've noticed several from OoT (but I've only ever owned the two N64 games and BotW).
...and the stable music reminds me of "A Whole New World" from the 90's Disney Aladdin.
I can't believe I stopped playing the game without getting the Hylian Shield. I guess I can start playing the master mode and get it then.
I already did all this :(
you didn't have a map up in the video, i don't know where
Good to know I'm on the right track! Added you on Switch as well!
:) np
The one thing thats stopped me from continuing my master mode run but i might reload a different save to get it all back is the durability system, I went through a shrine recently and ending up breaking a majority of my weapons except a korok leaf all because they have such high health u cant break through it all and the fact that they recover but oh well ill go back to it and tryhard (Edit: I revisited it and used an exploit to get way more hearts so that i could get the master sword dont judge me i completed all shrines on my normal play through i earned the exploit. And i now have a weapon that doesnt break forever so im set)
Not sure if you've tried this already, but imo the most effective way to beat master mode is to git gud.
Blue Thingys Lmao i hate u 😂
I think the hylian shield should be first cause stalnox has the great thunderblade
So you can shock enemies grab their weapons and run away
Not that im advising not to go to Hyrule Castle, I just find it's REALLY risky going there so early. You got tons of Guardians guarding the outside of the castle and lots of tough monsters using the equipment you want against you. You have to be really careful since any wrong me will most likely get you killed. I only suggest going there if your really good at dodging and parrying attacks.
It makes sense what you say, but I assumed the person has experience dealing with enemies (acquired in normal mode), and I recommended the horse to easily escape from the guards. Thanks for sharing your opinion! :)
Pffft, that argument is nonsense when you go by the docks. It’s full of Lizalfos, but you can easily get past them by Majora’s Mask. Although it does not offer a direct path to the Hylian Shield, the door to it isn’t very hard to reach
What tips were offered? I’m confused
Im still shook from that lynel one shotting me 3 minutes after I got my glider in the great plateau
Why is a silver lynel in the Great plateau?????
Hello BRo you have to dodge it
Morky95 - Cheers mate, my next instinct was to fight it with a tree branch
insted of a random horse what about epona
Location??
don't all of these apply to normal mode too
Electric weapon inside the castle helps too. Just electrocute them and take the weapons.
i prefer the lynel weaponry
Where do u find the balloon things
Plus wheres majoras mask
Only on master mode have balloon things... and Majoras is here ruclips.net/video/7Gv_etZPJSU/видео.html
Hey guys the expansion is worth it? I don't know if buying shovel knight or the expansion
From 0 to 10 how much would you rate Zelda and from 0 to 10 how much are you willing to complete the game again?
SwitchLife Games I rate Zelda from 9/10 and 8/10 we can pass the game multiples time and you can do it in different ways
Then buy and prove your skills :D
SwitchLife Games SWEET,now I just need 10$ ;-;
Maybe show the location.
Majoras mask is too game breaking for me. I've never even used it tbh.
Are we sure that he’s not a disguised yiga
Is there game even fun at higher difficulty? I do like a challenge (love the dark souls games) but if the challenge is inventory management then I'm not going to be happy. One of the things I disliked in BoTW was item durability and no way to enhance it or repair. Made me avoid fights or cheese my way through some opponents because I hated losing a good weapon in a small skirmish to be rewarded with a crappier one from the event I just killed.
you forgot "do a glitch to get the master sword at 3 hearts" GGWP
1:52 lmao the arrow missed
Sometimes I feel guilty using Majora's mask. The Monsters they actually talk to me I give them food they eat it. We dance we hang out. Then I kill them and take their loot. 😭
Wow without watching this video i planned to do the EXACT same things xD
:D U are Pro :)
aww staph it you! you're gonna make me blush 😂
well at least that means you're a pro too ;D !
(Honnestly tho ... the strategy in this video makes the hard mode easier than the regular game 👌😅 )
My appologies for my bad english btw ^^' (i'm just a weird french on the internet :') )
Got the Lynel club before leaving the great Plateau and I'm only using it when mounting lynels
It's pretty funny because I have the phantom set and only takes like a minute or two to kill them 😂😂😂
Is this only in master mode as I just want to make sure
You can use these tips on normal mode too, but some tips are only on master mode (for example floating chests)
SwitchLife Games I didn't know if they would change anything between the two so thank you
*YOU GOT THE HYLIAN SHIELD!!*
Your inventory is full.
I didnt watching it yet, but thanks.
:) These tips leave the Master Mode very easy...
The nintendo increased the difficulty of the enemies, but it gave the chance to balance the game in the same way with the flying chests and set of the DLC
SwitchLife Games
I don't get how getting a horse is a "Pro Tip". Thats something almost everyone did, same for number 4. You should change the title to tips not pro tips, otherwise great job.
+ホースポルノ ホースポルノ
The point is that without a horse you will have difficulty getting to the castle because there are many guardians. But I understood your point of view! And about the number 4, many were asking me where to find good weapons at the beginning of the master mode.
Thank you for commenting! :)
SwitchLife Games
Wich Amina has Majora's Mask
SwitchLife Games
Which Amibo has Majora's mask
Ummm... you don't need to kill the bokoblins on the floating platforms while wearing the majoras mask. They won't attack you when wearing majoras mask. Even taking the chest using magnesis, they won't attack you. You're just wasting your time and arrows attacking them
1# learn to flurry rush, done, you won
Where is majora
Pro Tip: Hit levers the first time. Don't be like this guy at 3:56.
You know, despite it being master mode the hylian shield still has durability is the thousands of memory serves me right, needing to save it for important times is unnecessary.
I saw a video with a savage lynel (maybe gold...maybe a guardian[?]) destroying it in like 10 hits.
Are you playing on PC?
No...
why?
@@SwitchLifeBr
it looks so good and smooth that it doesnt even look like the switch
Oh cool!
Yeah.. on nintendo switch this game is better than Wii U performance.
Checkout my best Botw videos :D

I have no fucking clue about master mode, just heard of it. All I have to ask is if you start completely fresh or do you still have your crap from the regular mode
When you start a master mode, the game create a new save file, new game
SwitchLife Games okay thanks!
I just got the Hylian Shield +40 block
Sure...
LiterallyNick
I can make a video
but bad quality
Please do, Hylian shield shouldn't naturally be like that.
LiterallyNick
Video uploaded,no hacks,just duplication glitch
LiterallyNick
No reaction?ok.
I just got weapon parts in the scape that was a good video but why did you talk what's your real name what's your video name anyways
Majora's mask makes hard mode really easy tbh
yes! Much easy
sorry im late
Np :)
pro tips, they said, pro tips....
Also get the rest of the doc clothes like tingles outfit can increase speed at night
Royal Gaurd's weapons are useless in mastermode, they may be higher power, but they have shit durability. You're better off taking as many of the gold tier weapons as possible versus other black tier.
Yes gold has more durability. In a 1x1 combat black is better, but when there are several enemies at the same time, gold is better.
I wish there was one unbreakable weapon :/ just one:(
master sword is the closest to that but i dont thin ubreakable weapons are needed in this game, its already ok like it is
The ability to craft or strengthen/repair weapons would have been neat, heres to hoping its in the next game
Are you making a video right now? Because you're online xD
😁 I am making progress on game to show more cool things :)
good intro
Tnkss :)
