I think it's kinda funny that link, the hero of hyrule, known for impressive feats of strength and courage, can't swim correctly. It gives him character.
Fun fact water isn't conductive of electricity, it's actually the impurities in water that allow for the conducting of electric current so Zora water could just be that clean and pure that it doesn't conduct electricity.
1:51 oh this is *absolutely* useful - for when you're farming dragon parts, particularly farosh! You can only get one part per day, so if you don't have a flame weapon, you have to stuff around and re-light the fire after every single part with a piece of flint so you can skip to the next morning. Even with the flame weapon it's annoying, because link slowly moves forward every time he swings a weapon, which means you have to constantly keep readjusting your angle. It doesn't seem that bad, until you realise it turns grinding dragon parts, an already monotonous job, into something you have to constantly baby and keep your attention on rather than focusing on something interesting whilst you get it done. I'm going to try this out next time!
The lizards do die when you shoot them, its just the nerves firing after death. Actually a really nice realistic detail for nintendo them to add. This happens with frogs too, btw. They flip upside down and spaz out.
Yeah, as a desert dweller raised with lizard catching as a fun children's activity, I wound up learning a lot about them as a side effect. (Thanks, curiosity!) Having them spaz after getting shot absolutely does not mean they're alive. But definitely a really intriguing detail to include!
I swear almost every video of BOTW, I'm just sitting here like "how did I only just realise this now?". The game is four years old and we're still learning and digging through every pixel of Hyrule, even though the whole land is in ruins already!
The "Keeping the campfire lit" trick is super helpful for the one shrine where you have to stand naked on a plinth to get it to rise up. Since the night of a blood moon is random unless a) a certain amount of time has passed or b) you've killed enough enemies, collected enough weapons, or broken enough respawning objects, it makes getting it to happen much less resource intensive.
I was just watching this while eating, It was really interesting until I got to the part where the name of the person who discovered that the water in Zora's Domain doesn't conduct electricity. Jokes aside this was a great video, I left a like.

1:06 Yes!!! That’s my video, I always love seeing my stuff in RUclips videos. I discovered it completely by accident while trying to get lord of the mountain to the horse race minigame. (It wasn’t allowed)
I only discovered this about two weeks ago, on my first playthrough of master mode: In Hateno Village, when you start lighting the torches, every single npc has a unique reaction to you while holding a blue flame torch in hand. The mean, gossipy lady that's always yelling now yells at you to put it away because it's dangerous. And the kids are so excited about how pretty it is that theystart chasing you forever if you talk to one of them while holding the torch [with blue fire on it.] I have screenshots! (But no video and don't know where to post them)
I love when you say have fun storming the castle. It caught me off guard at first but it always makes me happy and brings back some good memories cause my dad used to always say that be for I left to go anywhere.
Despite having spent 685 hours in breath of the wild I actually didn't know some of these which I fought wouldn't happen since the many hours I have spent on breath of the wild. So good job

I like to imagine that after Link frees Zelda, they go back to Hateno to rest and he just proudly shows off his pet eyeball. Although she'd probably be intrigued more than disgusted, she is a scientist after all..
Zoras domain thing. If u read the zora sword description it says its made out of a non-conductive metal which is why it doesn’t conduct electricity. Maybe the statue n stuff are just made of that
if i had to guess, it probably had a lot of complications coding it, since it would be a weapon that changes states constantly, which was bound to cause lots of potential glitches
I noticed something while playing botw yesterday with those malice eyeballs. You don’t have to shoot them directly in the eye, you can do it from behind as well. (I’m sure that everyone knows this already, but I just found that interesting).
One thing that I've never seen highlighted in a video is that if you're crouching next to a chest even you open it, instead of Link kicking it open with his foot, he'll punch it to open it with his hand, and then shakes his hand in pain
The red skin due to cold weapon thing is something I noticed, as I tend to like having the frostblade equipped for aesthetic reasons, but then I don’t like him looking like he’s constantly blushing
the campfire trick is useful when farming dragon parts. Just get a flame weapon, attack with it, pause the game during the animation, unequip the weapon and place it next on your campfire. The weapon will constantly emit flames and the campfire keeps burning indefinitely. This allows you to sleep next to dragons spawning positions and shoot them or farm weapons for an overload glitch
I still think it would’ve been cool If they gave us the master sword from the start on the temple of time, but it be broken as we seen, going to the Devine beasts not only do they give you the spells they give you, but also cure the sword at the start it’s 1, and then get stronger and stronger
The side stroke swimming animation seems like it’s right out of Skyward Sword. I’ve been playing the HD remaster and I noticed the awkward swimming animation. It’s nice to see it in breath of the Wild.
Regarding the lit campfire thing, you can drop a great flame blade during your charge attack and it will keep a campfire lit forever, you can use this to farm Farosh horns near where he spawns, since he always rises in the same place in the morning

5:03 Actually that faint voice was wondering how the pin gets replaced when you pull a bomb, what is there just an infinite amount of metal the sheet uses to synthesize new pins in there? Most of those bombs are clearly made from energy but not all of them,
Nr 12 is a reference to how Link swam in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Neet. Also fun fact, the holes in the pillars surrounding Hyrule Castle drop guardians. This is seen in Hyrule Warriors AoC
Fact 11 (shock orbs not working in the zora water) also applies to the little pond atop the great deku tree. Interestingly enough I found out that in both of these places the shock orbs do work when activating a shock chuchu jelly (I don't know why it's different then a shock arrow but ok). Edit: I gound out this also applies to the water in gerudo town atop buildings.
The broken master sword sheathing sound is the original sheathing sound present at the e3 2016 demo of the game, so more than likely it’s just leftover from development.
