This is for me one of the sweetest exhaust set ups,makes all the right sounds without sounding obnoxious, the ability to switch to normal quiet mode makes ideal for a road car,top marks to you bro,she's sweet....

From the factory, the valve opens in sport/sport+ on throttle. With my tune, I have it set to stay open when in sport/sport+ once the throttle has been pressed. Can also control the valve in Bimmerlink
Oh it’s definitely a want, just not a “need” 🤣. With E50 the car is plenty fast for the streets. Can hardly use it to its full potential safely unless I take it to the track or drag strip. Idk I may just keep it as is for now

I mean it’s one of the best but at the end of the day it’s all subjective to what you prefer sound wise. Because there’s less filter for exhaust fumes
