I don't know if it's available in the USA (yet) but head and shoulders recently came out with solid shampoo bars here in Europe and the deep cleansing one is so powerful at removing color residue. Leaves the hair feeling squeaky clean but I don't find it more drying than regular cleansing shampoos. 👍 Highly recommend, plus it's reasonably priced

I've always used dandruff shampoo, dawn dish soap and some backing soda,it definitely works really well!

I love using baking soda/bentonite clay/time to remove direct dyes!! The baking soda lifts the cuticle and clay catches the color!

It damages so bad
Blood Moon was a NIGHTMARE to remove for me! It ended up shifting to orange and refused to budge - I ended up destroying my hair and I never fully got it out. I absolutely loved the colour, but I'm so scared to use it again!

Head and Shoulders also fades dye. I recently had mine done (definitely not brave enough to do it myself) and I didn’t like how dark it was so have been using H&S for the last few washes and it’s faded to a lighter shade I like.

I just used Schwarzkopf color remover twice with 7vol and it faded my igora copper 7-77 (permanent hair color) quickly and evenly, without any breakage nor elasticity. Just toned it and my hair is now at a nice level 10. Definitely recommend this color remover 🙌

I've discovered that my face wash removes color from my hairline! I use CeraVe SA cleanser for oily skin, and I have Iro Iro neon pink skunk stripes above my ears. At first I thought the color just wasn't grabbing well on my roots, but it's literally just around my hairline, it goes back to almost blonde. I'm guessing it's the salicylic acid and cleanser combo. I have to dab a little color just on my hairline every couple weeks to refresh, but it hardly fades at all on the rest of my hair.
Gurl u know we trust u i just dont trust lunar tides warm toned colours! Last time u tried to remove them a whole bunch of ur hair fell out! Hole it goes well in the next couple vids

I love reds and burgundy it’s my go to color but like you said it’s a pain in the ass to remove and stains tf out of your hair and bleeds every time you wash it.

It's so interesting to hear you say that red is a pain to remove from the hair and stains, every single website says that red fades the quickest bc it has the largest dye molecules, but I've also found red dye to be very staining, which is nice considering I don't want my color to fade

I left my hair dye on a little longer then stated and it came out very dark almost black, dye was an ash brown dye semi permanent. I used this method and it took a lot of the darkness away (dye had been in my hair for around 3 weeks) It now looks like a chocolate brown. I did a strand test first to make sure. My hair was dry after so I used a deep conditioner (highly recommended). Very happy with the results.

I am so surprised to see that the dandruff shampoo faded your color so much!! I'll definitely try this next time I want to fade hair color instead of using a bleach bath.
I have literally done this. I get bored after a week, so I put dandruff shampoo in my dry hair for a while, and wash it like 8 times in the hottest water possible. It honestly usually does a decent job for me, but I mainly dye my hair purple so the fade is very silvery and nice. 👍👍BTW that apple one made my hair tinted green!
If you keep going it will keep lightning! It works with any sulfate shampoo. This also works with dish soap if you don’t have a “harsh” shampoo.
I've also heard of bentonite clay as a method to remove dye. You can mix it with vit c, hot water, and a bit of vinegar. Haven't tried it yet, but I'll experiment soon

I learnt a lesson the hard way using Bleach London Tangerine which stained my bleach blonde hair. Had to colour correction it to a mid brown as if just stained my hair a weird peachy pinky red colour. Never using orange on bleached hair again! To be honest very happy with my brown too. Love your videos!! ❤️❤️

I use hask tea tree shampoo to fade my hair color even with red it fades in two or three washes.

Dawn dish soap with a little conditioner mixed in will do the trick along with a dash of regular hydrogen peroxide.

Genuine question but why not just wash your hair daily for a couple of weeks versus one day of continual shampooing?
I don't know how but the bond building or bond repair olaplex shampoo seems too be stripping out the red from my hair whilst also making it feel so soft

This worked a lot better on your hair than my daughter's purple hair! We ended up doing a bleach bath. Maybe we didn't use hot enough water? 🤔
I added just a few drops of dawn dish soap when I did this and it did more then when I just did the shampoo by itself

As soon as I seen the thumbnail I knew exactly what was happening I suffer from dandruff and oh my it strips my toner off so fast so I try to not use it right after I tone my blonde hair but I will use it a lot before I do my hair to get old toner off especially Tgel strips that toner right off
I just realized that we both have almost the exact same piercings. I have stretched ears (22mm), the second ear one right in that divit (because of the stretched ears), but I also have snake bites. Sick. No cartilage ear piercings though cause ears hurt.

adore ruby red is a lush colour. i just dyed my fringe with it. but idk how it fades. i just know their neon pink was a nightmare but well see about the red. it is a stunning red shade

I've been using dandruff shampoo to take out the semi permanent hair color of out of my hair. Then I will use ion hair color removal to take the rest of the color out.
I just dyed my hair a few days ago using lunar tides periwinkle and honestly could not be more disappointed. It's literally cornflower blue. My hair was white before I dyed it and I'm running to the store to buy dandruff shampoo now.

Vitamin c method uses dandruff shampoo so I’d say this one is a lil less drying. Both are drying to the hair
