- RetroFlag has come out withe absolute best case for your raspberry pi zero on the market. These things are beautiful. The GPi Case is designed after the original gameboy just without all the bulk.

i have to say you made that seem easy to do, well done on the video. I would have liked to seen you putting on games and setting up emulators on the GPi. Maybe next video.
I felt for this video to stay away from that since it would make this video way to long, but if people are interested in seeing me set up up a pi, then I'd be happy.
I just ordered mine yesterday it should arrive anytime now , my question is with all prebuild images do i still need to do the safe shut down script ?

You could connect a Bluetooth keyboard, I know it is a bit pedantic to say but I find that easy for consoles such as this.
When I install the safe shutdown script the pi stays stuck at a screen for hours already.
This is the second one I am doing and can’t get it to install the script.
I got mine yesterday, the start up time just drives me nuts, I already updated the time zone too.
I have a pre-built image Im releasing with arcade punks that runs a bit faster. Keep an eye out for my video on that
the pi zero can absolutely play n64 and ps1 games... I'm doing it right now and on a 128gb card
The pi zero can play those consoles, the reason it's not advised specifically with this case, is because there is no way to add cooling to the board. No room for heatsinks or fans in the case, which can lead to over heating and damaging the CPU. If you had the zero as a stand alone with a cooling system (even just a CPU heatsink) it would be a different story.
If hell exists, this music plays there on a loop. :)
Can I do this in a library?
I just got the Retroflag GPI yesterday and lagging quite a bit on every system I use. I downloaded the Recal image and I even have fresh batteries in it. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Please help!
You can try overclocking the pi, but careful with that, since there isn't a good way to keep the cpu cool in that case

Yep, seems to run them just fine. :) I have a pre-built image that's pretty much just write and play coming out sometime this week. Makes it easier so you don't have to bother with installing all the scripts to customize it.
2:52 with some tweaking a raspberry pi zero can run psx games
I know it's possible, but for this application I wouldn't recommend it. The case has no cooling system and there's not enough space for a heat sync. I'd worry you'd run way to hot. :)

@@Dexl4Craft I'd say too risky for my liking. If you are someone. To sit and play through a long play, it could overheat and cause damage, but if there is a way to keep the temp cooler or even an eye on the demand shut it down when it runs too hot, then I guess you could.
