Chainsaw Chad could've harvested that bird with his 362-C! Nice job and great video! Especially enjoyed watching Chad reenact the whole thing--we all do that with every harvest, but it rarely makes the final cut. So fun! -John
I had the same thing this year. No luck, missed two calling them in, last day I was out planting (I’m a farmer) saw one strutting, parked the planter cause I was so mad I missed two already, grab a fan and tried the fanning trick. Got to 20 yards, turns out there was 5 gobblers and a flock of hens. One Tom saw and came walking over the fence line, 5 yards. I shot and turns out I actually smoked the one behind him and somehow not many bbs hit him. He died instantly, but I think because it was so close the pattern was still intact then. It was a lot of fun
Wow! I cant believe how close those birds got to you I'm hopping I get a chance like that I'm using my 20ga this year full choke I'm gonna try it from a tree stand for the first time I've killed geese from a tree stand why not try turkeys anyway what a great hunt you guys were on good job guys I'm impressed.
@@Landandlegacytube Thanks so much! Question. If I can't get my hands on camo pants, what would you suggest I do? Use tan pants, put a camo sheet over my bottom half, or what?
@@Landandlegacytube Sorry! My mistake. When I 1st watched the video it looked like he shot the strutter then raised up and shot a different bird but after watching again, I see he shooting the same bird. Haha it’s tough when they get in close!!
Heck yeah but got to nice birds on film this year and when self filming and it all comes together is amazing.
@@kyhunter26 awesome! Nice work
here in maine shooting a big tom is easier then shooting a black fly
I bet your pulse was pounding! Missed my very 1st turkey at 8'. 2nd shot dropped him like a pheasant from the air.
Haha for sure!! That’s awesome!!

I would love to hear how that works out lol good luck!
What kind of call are you using for the gobble
Natural voice -
WOW
did you watch a movie THE PIRATE AND PRINCESS AFRANDA,,,? on youtube
I'm going hunting with my uncle this Saturday early morning. I don't know anything about turkey hunting. Mind explaining to me a few things about it?
Be patient, don’t over call, sit tight if he’s gobbling

@@Jalepo brown pants are fine just sit still. I killed a bird three days ago in green and brown clothing. Being still is more important

Crazy video! I just shot my first turkey last week!
Congrats that’s amazing!!!
This is legit a “BRUH” moment
Hahah that’s funny. It certainly was! Thanks for watching
At the place i hunt they always come suuuper close
Lol no thanks! That 3 yards range is just fine haha
Good Job... except when he had to take 2 shots at a tom 3 yards away
Missouri turkey hunting regulations states "You may not take 2 turkeys on the same day." Maybe not a good idea to show this??
Not sure what you’re referencing?? Chad (the hunter) only harvested one bird on this day.
