Great effort.
But as the others said, you need to give Gary Keller space. The job of the interviewer isn't to make the interview about himself, but to create a space where the interviewee can share insights to the listeners.
Chris Smith great interview. I didn't notice an interruption issue as others here stated. We can't all be Larry King. when I'm interviewing people, with my ADHDDDADHD lol, I sometimes have to jump in and clarify what they're telling me. Most listeners appreciate it. Although I noticed from other comments - there's always some negatives folks who, as my Hero the late Zig Ziglar used to say, find fault like there's a reward for it! Thanks

Chris you are very enthusiastic and you ask great questions. If you work on being an active listener and not cutting in on your guest your interviews will go from good to great. You cut Mr. Keller off quite a bit. Good stuff though. Thanks for publishing this! 👍
Wow - really neat to listen to this interview of Gary Keller. Take the time and enjoy. I remember well Gary's comments to the 10,000 agents in attendance at KW FR in Anaheim in 2011 and was so mesmerized by his presence and words I came back to Denton and joined KW!
what a great wise man Gary is, i wish i had him as a mentor and a friend. great interview too!
Great interview. Thanks for asking questions about his journey growing up and going through college. It was really interesting to hear about his learning process and what the true secret to his early success was in real estate.
But only if you stopped cutting him off....
Great job Chris. Thanks for sharing with us.
I appreciated this interview and I like how the interviewer also shared his experience as well. It was very natural and seemed like a conversation. Great work
Great interview. Gary was patient in waiting for the question you were pressing for. It was nice seeing Gary answering passionately because he was asked a question to go beyond a standard answer.
LOVE this interview! How have I not seen this before?!
A genuine person this Mr Gary man. Love the Gibsons Les Paul guitars.
The interview was very conversational. The interview went fine. I enjoyed it.
great interview... a little awkward about 10mins in but you quickly hit your stride. Telling your own story as it related to Keller Williams gave the interview another interesting dimension as well. cool beans!
As an author, I'm getting lots out of this
A great interview with Keller Williams Realty co-founder Gary Keller.
Very Good interview! Gary Keller reminds me of Steve Jobs in mannerisims and thoughts. Chris, you brought out the best in Gary!
The interviewer talks to much and I cant enjoy Gary Keller wisdom, he needs to learn to wait and don't talk about himself so much. Thank you for the interview.
JSB77 just thinking the same. And condescending
❤️❤️❤️ You are the ‘ One ‘ of the genius for the world Gary ... Thank you with all my heart...#garykeller #genius
Great interview, a very down to earth behind the scenes story on the creation of a innovative real estate company
You gotta let him speak. Let Gary speak mayne,
Watched it with great pleasure. Thank you!
Inspiring. Thank you both so much. I'm a new broker and ready to go!
Very impressive interview. Great! How it all began!
Great interview. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful comment "Success is inside you "
Nice Interview, Chris. It really was a learning experience for me!
Great interview Chris! Thanks for sharing.
Gary Keller is so awesome! Nice job interviewing him, but it's probably a good idea to slow down and not finish Gary Keller's sentences. He's Obi-wan! You were probably just a little nervous. ;)
Hey Chris, Great Job with questions. In the future try to allow people to answer questions completely without you interrupting so much. God Bless YOu!
I loved the interview. Thank you for sharing!
Great Interview, @garykeller is the man
real deal. thank you 🙏
Let the person you're interviewing speak without interrupting.
Horrible interviewer!!!
I 'm sorry for being rude, but , I challenge you to watch it again just from 13min to 14min only. I hope you learned your lesson & improved. I wish you the best. Thanks.
I agree with others. The interviewer keeps talking about himself and putting too much of his story in the interview instead of asking questions and listening to the guest. I would have found more enjoyable to listen and grasp what Gary had to say. It's an opportunity to improve and do better next time. Hope you find this feedback valuable.
Great info. Thanks!
I like you interview style. Very conversational.
Let the man finish a sentence! So disrespectful with the constant interruptions mid-answer.
Great Interview and open my mind
loved the interview, learned some life-lessons , thanx
Amazing! Thank you.
Chris rocks! Outstanding
LET THE MAN SPEAK!!!
Interview guy interrupted Gary 10 times smh
awesome. very nice interview.
Another great video. Kudos!
Great Interview.
This dude cuts Gary off so many times it drives me INSANE. You're there to listen not cut the man off. Good luck ever getting another interview again lol
I agree! It's anoying.
Great story.
buenísima entrevista pura motivación :)
Guy is inspirational
So obvious at 6:57 Gary's reaction to interrupts of the interviewer
🖤
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking it. The interviewer obviously doesn't understand the dynamic flow of a conversation let alone how to conduct an interview. It's incredibly rude to cut someone off when they are trying to talk. Gary actually is forced to raise his voice at one point so that he could continue to deliver his message as this guy attempts to interrupt him again and again.
Do the guitars have price tags on them?....seems like a nice guy, I always look for humility rather than the usual Trump B.S. I'm brand new in the business and this guy gets my vote, he's also in much better physical shape than the other vids I've watched, I can't listen to a guy who has sacrificed ALL for success, you wonder what really motivates them! Interviewer a tad overbearing but Keller allowed him his space gracefully.....he still has that brick in his living room/office?
I enjoyed listening to Mr. Keller but I couldn’t stand the constant interruptions by the interviewer.
That lady agent Gary mentioned who Chris said trained under Gary does not have Gary's work ethics, I can discern.
The One Thing is legit.
I wish the interviewer would've spoke less and not trying to jump in but LEARN!!!
Let him talk for God's sake
Good interview!! but why does he always wear black?!
He's trying to be like Steve Jobs
Joshua Allcorn Definitely not.
Because he likes it. Duh.
Sheesh... I am only 6 minutes into this interview, then I read the comments. Man, let this exceptional Billionaire talk! Lousy interviewer! Yikes!!!
What a terrible interviewer
⁰azaleas😅
Ok Chris people are here because we want to listen to Gary not you. Please next time when you have this opportunity in life let Gary talks.
Thanks for this great interview.
***** Interesting comment about grocery store not knowing him. Ralph's here in South OC California is owned by Kroeger. I like peanut butter... crunchy. I have not bought a jar in a month of Sundays. Every month Ralph's sends me a stack of coupons... and guess what? There's always a coupon in the mix for a free jar of my favorite peanut butter... with a thanks for your biz note. So some grocery chains do know their customers. Being so well known and appreciated that you get something for free every now and then as a thank you is great. So yes technology does exist in the grocery biz. Just shop at the right spot.
