Bloody clever

Very Smart, someone has been thinking.
Thank you, Melanie! We work hard to bring smart solutions to our customers.
seriously, it finds half with already cut blocks it looks like a waist of money. Why bother with this jig. I recommend just buying a gauge that is accurate without added gauges. Far from a solution. Disappointment.
Have you actually tried it? Thousands of Half Gauge users have found it to be faster and easier than other methods. Feel free to contact me at ralph@microjig.com and I will happily answer any questions you may have.
For years I've made half-laps by "creeping up" on the joint by cutting short of the line, raising the blade a skosh, cutting, test-fitting, rinse and repeat. You get perfect laps, but it's tedious. This jig cuts down on the trial and error.
@@bigredracingdog466 It is very fast. Also, with half laps, I tend to cut a whisker too deep on purpose for glue space. If your half lap is tight, you need to leave a bit of room for the glue.
