I love the review - you did a great job so keep 'em coming! Also, a side note - I love that you actually take the time to reply to comments. I have watched other up and coming you tubers who never answer a single one, so major kudos to you for that. Last side note: Your haircut looks very nice in this video! :) Merry Christmas Eric!
Excellent tutorial on how to use and showing setup. I always trust your opinion and I think it would definitely be awesome to test out. I hope manufacturing companies are watching Eric is definitely a perfect spokesperson for products and your a honest opinion are taken to heart. Awesome video looking forward to seeing your yearly wrap up. Till then I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
Good honest review, please do more reviews. The one question I have would be, what happens when you replace your blade with one of a different thickness?
Question... all the YT clips I'm seeing is making very thin dado's, any chance we can have a dado demo that demos the making of a 1/2 inch or 3/4" dado's using this tool.
Yes, I like product testing /review video like that; by the way I like the background sound effect (of when the half lap joint fits perfectly) and your hair looks great!! Thanks for sharing : )
Eric Lindberg I believe there's some health & safety legal consideration. It makes me groan every time I see a RUclips woodworker rip out a dozen dados a minute.
Hello Eric. I'm new to RUclips and now a subscriber to your channel. I just watched your tutorial on this product and enjoyed how you simply described its installation and use. Question....can this product also work on a board that is as wide ...as 2x4? or is it limited...as shown on your video? Thank you your expetise...
I thought of it for a while and I believe if you were to clamp this "jig" to a crosscut sled and make a spacer that is the exact width of this jig from the side up to leg 3 (excluded), then you could cut the first pass of your big panel butted against leg 1 and then put the shim and butt it against leg 3, then remove the shim again and the jig and do it freehanded for the remainder... what do you think of that Eric? would it be safe? I think so, but I'm a newbie at woodworking, just a mechanical engineer that overthinks most of what he sees/does, lol !
Nice vid, but its not such a good idea to draw the board back over the blade when making the initial 2 cuts, as any movement at all of the board relative to the miter gauge would widen the cut, making it less accurate.
With this jig Ken makes Barbie's furniture. With a standard table saw blade you can make until a 2 centimeters dado with this jig. If you use a dado set kit add its width to 2 cm. Solo se puede ranurar 2 cm como máximo usando un disco normal. Si se usa un juego de discos ranuradores entonces el ancho maximo q se puede ranurar son 2cm + el ancho de corte de los ranuradores.
I like reviews. It may be worth exploring the price/value of the tools you review and maybe comparing different options. I know prices change but price is an important factor in the viability of some tools for different usage scenarios. Some micro jig offerings seem expensive. This price may be decent. The dovetail clamp can be handy on its own, and they do sell this kit in parts if one already has one. Someone (can’t remember who) showed a trick to make a stop like this using a 1/8” drill bit as a spacer to account for the kerf of their blade.
What happens if you switch to a thinner kerf blade or if by some chance you purchase another blade (even from same manufacturer) and the kerfs are off by some thou of an inch? Seems this jig doesn’t quite offer flexibility around swapping blades etc?
Eric Klodnicki watch stumpy nubs cool tools he uses it as well and you don’t actually cut the cut off but you research and see what you think. Also amazon sells them Good luck
This video merely repeats the microjig video and does not fully explain the jjgs usage. Whey id the no. 2 stop adjustable out well beyond the no. 2 stop when it cannot be used. The jig is only useful for narrow pieces of stock under about 3/4". Le'ts have someone show how to do wider stock.
MICROJIG didn’t send you a Grrr-ripper? Really??? I’d think they would’ve sent you one of those because they would want you to use that product on your video instead of a push stick.
Thanks Eric for an honest review of a new product and how to use it.
Yes I would like to see more like this. I’ve been thinking about getting this.

Great job! Very clear instructions.
Yes, good job, happy for more. - Steve

would that jig work for making dados on a large sheet ? like a 6 feet by 3 feet side panel of a bookshelf ?
Yes,i would like to see more of your videos.Nicely done and i like your choice of saws[ i have 36-725 t2].thanks.
Nice video. Don’t forget the backer board to avoid blow out. Keep the reviews. Nice supplement
Eric,
Great video, thank you. I assume you can also use this method to set up rabbet joints? Any experience doing this?
Thanks,
Jim
Well done ... Now even I understand how to use and apply!
Extra videos are always cool.
Thanks, Eric. A great video as always. And a useful one too... Here in the UK we can't get dado stack blades, and this gadget looks like a lifesaver.

Yes Yes let's see more things like this. Good review.

It's interesting. I just don't see how it's supposed to be used to put panels together. You should demonstrate how to do it with pieces that are wider

Liked the video, I have one but have not used it yet. It looks good and will try it when I have the rite project.
Better than micro jig's video. Thank you.

Seems like it will only work with narrow stock. Not sure how this would work with wider dados which would be much better.
Can we use it with a router?

You need to purchase a new setup gage for your new blade there is a area on the gage to write down what blade you used to cut the kerf with

Nice little tool!
Eric Lindberg happy holidays!
Cool !!
I'm interested, I want to buy one.
Cool video and tool 👍
Hahaha that epic slow motion intense moment!
Boa explicação, obrigado!!!!

I think that's a half lap joint not a dado
Merci pour le partage t bonne continuation 😂

lose the tunes.
Unpaid... yeah, right. Very credible ;-)
well every guy knows the first this ya do is to throw the instruction manual away 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
More likely, file it away someplace.
Thanks
Ditch the music! Your videos would be much better with out the noise!
