Great review and very helpful!! My brother just woke up after a 6 month Covid coma and now we are working on reconditioning. I am determined to get him home whether it be by wheelchair, walker or cane but NOT in a bed.
Good luck. I was in coma for 49 days. 6 months is an incredible amount of time. After I awoke. I recovered M y walking abilities without physical therapy. I'm sure he has better options than I did. Best wishes for you and him.
Best video about starting the Powerball! Thank you so much! Tips of how to hold your arm and wrist are actually very important. After other videos I never got the ball going. The only problem - the ball is too big for a woman's palm
I've used these for over 30 years. You don't need a string once you know what you are doing. They were invented long, long ago. For getting the rotor to accelerate - Move your wrist in such a way (attitude, phase, frequency, etc.) that you feel the MOST resistance. That resistance is YOU pumping power INTO the rotor. If you don't feel that resistance, no energy/power is being directed into the rotor, and the rotor will slow down and stop. So it is a feedback loop where you are sensing what to do second by second.
I have one of these. I think they’re best for keeping blood flowing between workouts so you recover faster. However what I have found is my pull up strength has improved after using this for just a week. Mines the signature series.
I bought a gyroball and ive really struggled on keeping it going after the string but (it just stopped) then I watched your vid and now I can do it! Great tutorial vid! Thanks
I love you. I thought these gyro balls were just some gimmick because I couldn't get the thing to spin more than a bit and barely felt anything, but thanks to your pointers I got it spinning and holy hell! Thank you!
This video was great. The spinner comes with NO instructions. I am not interested in playing hockey, but I do need to increase my wrist/arm strength. This video covered it all and let me know how to get started and what to do. Thanks man!
I hve two of these.. One my phsio gave me when I broke my wrist in a motorbike accident.. I used it to strengthen my wrist.. Later I bought another one.. It has the digital clock face thing, but mine has blue lights in it that glow brighter the faster it spins..
Great video, mate. Just bought one today with my Christmas Argos voucher :) and this has helped get me going with it. Very clear, very helpful. But typing is really difficult now that I can get the Powerball going - amazing forearm pump!
great review video, I got myself a powerball today, was looking for some tips and guidance on how to make the best of it and you definitely delivered :) thanks for taking the time to make this vid!
Good review. I originally wanted to get one due to wrist strain from using my PC too much but if it's also good for hockey I'll definitely pick one up,thanks.
It's also incredibly easy to start - the technique is to start slowly and build up speed very slowly until you get momentum - if you hear clicking at the beginning then it's going too fast
Great video! We love how you're promoting the benefits of using a gyroball to improve strength and dexterity. We've also developed a methodology that focuses on sustainable efforts and results while activating the entire upper limbs. We believe our approach can complement what you're already doing and take your training to the next level. Keep up the great work!
Throw the sting away immediately. Much quicker to spin the gyro with your free hand or thumb. Watch videos by RPM Power for the best tutorials...not that this one is lacking good info. This is an excellent video and he's correct about his facts. Except for the string thing......on day two you'll throw it away too.
Im super interested in one of these to possibly help with armpump from motocross and mountain biking. I noticed this one squeaked right out of the box. Have they updated the design with better bearings?
Wondering if I should get one for building strength and motion back in my wrist after I fractured my radius and ulna.. is it really hard? Or very easy?
may I be the first one to compliment you on drinking good ole highland spring still water lol I can control this ball pretty well in bicep curl tricep extension and punching simulations with my right hand but my left all I can do is spin it without any motion lol my left arm obviously has no co ordination any advice
this is weird to expain, but you shouldnt actively move your wrist either. when you try to hold that thing still with all your might, after cranking it hard, you will eventually find the spot, whereit causes reflexive movements to self-oscillate. like jittering you knee on an oncomfortable airplane toilet.
I couldn't get mine to work and got so pissed off that I pulled the string so hard that it jumped off and got stuck inside the ball. Then I pulled the string out and think a piece broke off in it. I have strong wrists and am pretty coordinated but I can't figure out for the life of me how to get this going for more than 10 seconds. I don't think it should be this difficult. Will keep trying but this thing is very frustrating.

This video is 9 years ago. I just got this thing like 2 weeks ago. Training my left arm using this. Thank you so much.
This was much more helpful and informative than the powerball website. I'm rehabilitating after two wrist ops and this was excellent. Thank you

Is there a video for this I keep trying but it still stops
I watched several videos on youtube and with yours I finally managed to get my powerball going. thanks!
6:25 to actually see what the fuck this thing does. You're welcome.
Funny seeing you here. :D

Same here! This is the only video I've seen that helped.
This video was more helpful to me then the one on the powerball website, thank you
Thank you very much!
Man I thought I was tripping there - deja vu 5:30 to 5:42 x 2

I know it's almost like edge of tomorrow
jayc2469 It's a glitch in the matrix.
LMAO
Me too! 😂

thanks! I just bought one and couldn't firure out how to work with this. Now I do! Thank you! Very helpfull.
Sucks how there isn't anything like this for soccer... Wait a minute... What if you tape it to your shoe and use it?
They really should make something for ankles.
Got one today after taking my cast off the wrist. LET'S TRY THIS.
Lonelybushes does it work

Nice review.
I just bought one for forearm strength.
They say it can help the entire arm from fingers up to the shoulder.
Thanks for the video. It does a very good job of explaining/showing how to get the action going.
You're really great at reviews! That's was awesome. I like the speed you're talking, too.

Thanks for the overview! My chiropractor suggested I get one and I'd never heard of them before. I have a repetitive strain injury from drawing.
I have tennis elbow rsi from crocheting! Did the Powerball help YOUR rsi please?
i think it is great for teaching Johnny the ways of spin
great review video, I got myself a powerball today, was looking for some tips and guidance on how to make the best of it and you definitely delivered :) thanks for taking the time to make this vid!
They are great little things, hope you get a lot of use from yours. Thanks for watching.
Does any wrist motion keep the gyro going? Otherwise how do you know which motion to use and when?
Thanks and much appreciated - perhaps the most helpful video I have watched on RUclips.
Thank you so much I finally was able to get it started! I just needed to stir some sugar!
Good review. I originally wanted to get one due to wrist strain from using my PC too much but if it's also good for hockey I'll definitely pick one up,thanks.
You can spin it in any motion - eg left and right like opening a doorknob - you just need to coax the flywheel onto the gyroscopic plane
It's also incredibly easy to start - the technique is to start slowly and build up speed very slowly until you get momentum - if you hear clicking at the beginning then it's going too fast

Is it good for a pitcher in baseball?
Thank you for an awesome review
It helped me a lot.
Does it matter if you rotate your wrist clockwise or anti-clockwise? i.e. does it work either way?

How long have you been playing hockey? In the US there's only about 30 black players. Not sure why that is. Its an awesome sport.
I have a stoke at 32 and whole body is moving but my left hand hurts and doesn’t move please comment if this ball could help me
may I be the first one to compliment you on drinking good ole highland spring still water lol I can control this ball pretty well in bicep curl tricep extension and punching simulations with my right hand but my left all I can do is spin it without any motion lol my left arm obviously has no co ordination any advice
Thank you - this was so helpful !

Same thing happened again. Now I think it's broke because the string chipped off in the ball. Great........

I can't get this to spin more than a few seconds. I even used a power drill to get it going. Is this whole thing a sham?
