  • Getting the rear wheel back to it's home and adjusting the chain slack to where it needs to be. As well as changing out the damaged clutch cover and performing a clutch mod that will help with the extra horsepower. Sticking stiffer springs into the clutch will increase the clamping force of the clutch and help with the power by avoiding slippage.
    I highly suggest looking into Vcyclenut for your ecu flash needs. He has offered to sponsor the ecu flash on this particular build which the Moto Gumption Channel is very grateful for. I have heard the name since I've been in the motorcycle game and have not heard a single bad word about his flashes. He offers flashes for multiple platforms so even if you're not riding an FZ1 he still may have what you're looking for.

      The clutch is pretty simple with these bikes you should have it done pretty quick when you do it.

    You must install the last friction plate shifting half phase. you can see in the video when you dissasembled the presure plate.

      @@pepernoot4 Hey Stan...With a flash they can do so much more than they can with a PC, like changing timing maps,rev limits,secondary fly openings,deletes certain things...Once done you can still get it dyno`s to fine tune the fuel values if you think you need to.

    Love the vids, I have an FZ1 Fazer '07. I've got a powercommander and its been on the dyno. Is this very different from an ecu flash? Or would it be even better to have both? Thanks in advance. Heard a lot about the flash guy on the Internet!

    Hey great video but I have 2 questions!
    1- is vcyclenut doing a special flash since you are installing a sc?
    2- with the sc, I understand I will need new HD springs for the clutch, but what if I put all 6 in? Thanks!

    • @rhetericalpha
      @rhetericalpha  3 года назад

      HEY Felix, so Vcyclenut is just doing the usual flash. Derestricting the stock settings, lower limits in lower gears, lower temp for fan on and those type of things.
      Now I ran stock springs for a long time but then really started getting into it and had a tiny bit of slippage. I wouldn't recommend doing all 6 springs as it will be one hell of a time pulling it in all the time and you could bog the motor more easily without enough throttle. Would be a pain for daily riding.

      The speed sensor connector should be 3 wires. It plugs into the back of the motor near the shock. It gets the speed signal from the transmission
