I haven’t had as good experiences with Ana, I’m not sure if it’s Ana’s fault or just air Japan as they fly the 787 because I have bad experiences with the 787 but I flew the Ana 777 once and it was great so idk

My family flew on ANA Economy Class to The Philippines a few years ago and I have to say … it was the best economy class from an Airline I’ve ever experienced and hopefully when we or I travel again we’re taking ANA
Air New Zealand has this same thing on their 787s and they call them sky couches! My wife and I nabbed one up when we flew from SF to Auckland for the 12 hour flight and it really made it just a little more comfortable. By yourself on that, probably super comfotable. 2 people, better than sitting upright for 12 hours but a little cramped. 3 adults won’t work but maybe 2 adults and a small child.
@@Armored_Arieteyes. Obviously it depends on route for specific prices, but say for an Emirates flight from NY to Tokyo I remember prices something like: $1200 for economy, $6500 for business, $18,000 for first. So, yeah.
Had one of these on a flight to NZ. Instead of feeling miserable, I felt like I was hanging out on my couch at home on the internet. Made the trip so much more bearable.
In October 2023, I once luckily had the same most comfortable experience with 3 spacious economy window seats (for the price just one even before the Sky Couch introduced), and got a straight 8 hours deep quality sleep on the longest flights of Air New Zealand from Auckland to Houston. The best memorable air service so far of nearly 20 years flying!
I flew ANA a number of times from Singapore to Japan. Great food, great staff and spacious seats. The only flight I’ve ever been on and asked for a second meal because it was that good
I love ANA for this, I always enjoy riding the Honu airplane! The food is great and I like how there are cameras so you can see outside even if you’re not window seat. It’s indeed a very unique plan, there three different colors for this, each representing a unique feature of the Hawaiian islands! The orange-ish color represents the sunsets, the blue color represents the beautiful sky, and the green color represents the ocean! It really is comfortable even if you’re sitting in economy!
Actually, they’re all the same size at 13.3 inches, which is massive. I’m flying Starlux business in May so I’ll make sure to highlight them in a future video :)
@@briansoup the problem is that ANA's best economy product is only on their 3 a380s meanwhile on emirates (since you were talking abt screen size) for example, have their best product on atleast 50% of their fleet also im talking abt solely economy class
Flew nonstop NY to Tokyo on United. Was the WORST flight I’ve ever been on! It was a new plane where they squished 5 seats in the center and your entire upper arm was pressed up against your neighbors, my knees barely fit in front of me (I’m only 5’4” btw), couldn’t bend over to get my bag under the seat at all, no individual air vents and the plane was uncomfortably warm, the seats had no padding at all it was like sitting on a beach chair but worse. I’ve never been claustrophobic before but I was having anxiety attacks the entire time and got no sleep on this 13 hour overnight flight. It actually felt like legit torture, I was on the verge of tears multiple times. Meanwhile, we flew ANA back. Big padded seats, lots of legroom with footrests(!), delicious food with real cutlery (not plastic), headrests that actually worked. The difference was astounding and just shows the awful race to the bottom for US airlines.
I know your really promoting that tv screen on the seat but literally every plane I’ve ever been on has it for every class, I remember them having it going back to the late 90s for everyone
I flew on that plane twice (round trip to Tokyo) last December. For the return I paid extra to sit upstairs and it was wonderful. Nicest flight I've ever been on, and I've flown several hundred times.
JAL from jfk to tokyo was the same with us. Half the plane was empty (sunday before memorial day) and so half the people in the plane made a bed with 3 economy seats we loved it.
I swear Everytime I fly a plane and it was night and then wake up at the morning in a plane I swear I got a flash bang and it was brighter than my future
Just got fare sale email today from ANA. Some of these NRT-HNL flights are 10% off, and the rest are %5 off. I'm planning to take this very trip in late September, so l'm hoping the discount applies to biz seats as well.
Never seen an economy seat open up like that it's mind blowing if your the only person sitting in that row then u basically got a bed that crazy. Thanks for sharing your experience otherwise would never have known something like this ever existed.
It’s because these are typically reserved for “rest seats” for the flight attendances, so they can rest better and even nap, they are usually at the back as well
Ive never flown ANA but I totally agree that the A380 has the most comfortable seats of any airliner I've flown on, I took Etihad to Abu Dhabi in April of 19 and being all the way in the back at row 83 I had the most enjoyable 13 hour flight ✈️ in my entire life..nothing compares to the A380 in my opinion..When I book trip to Phillipines I'll pay extra for that..and now I'll consider ANA..
