  • Pretty variation on a Front Wrap Cross Carry using a woven wrap
Shown with a newborn (under 3 weeks)
Wrap: Sjala MiNi- Purrfect tvi tvi tvi
I'm using a size 7 (base +1 for me) , but would suggest to use your base size wrap (size 6 in my case)

I'm in the middle of a cross country walk and had a little one show up along the way. Any advice for which wrap method would be best for most the day wear or long distances?

2918 Miles with a small baby if prefer a FWCC with a twist, when I feel like more support is needed once the baby gets bigger I do a normal FWCC and spread the passes to give some extra support.
Once you feel confident enough to try backwrapping a rucksack carry is a good option, for a toddler I love christinas ruckless backcarry and double hammock with half saltwater finish.
Key for comfort is good tightening. Don't overtighten the top and bottom rail, try to achieve a snug carry without the wrap digging in/on your shoulders.

Thank you so so much! I will keep wrapping. As far as I understand confidence comes with practice in wrapping. Thank you!

Just one quick question: I've seen lots of comments on this knot when used with a newborn. Other babywearinstructors say the top rail gives to much tension on the neck... can you help me out please :-)

Romina Moens a baby will usually let you know if it's uncomfortable. Offcourse the strap shouldn't be pulled extremely tight in a way that it's uncomfortable:) but with my reflux baby either this or Anne's FWCC work best and i think its because of this extra strap at the top

Over or under both legs? All the other tutorials I’ve seen have the finish under both legs😬

Personal preference i guess. I go over 😅
