Wish I'd found this first... never thought I'd get this after base 2, I've been going around in circles all morning😭 yay to you!! I need to see straight lines of tables / numbers 😂
This video needs to be remade with the decimal to hexidecimal example using 37, 000 instead of 20, 000 😜 Anyway, very helpful. I just learned binary for some functions I need in C++ for a project. Some of the code examples were in hexidecimal though; so here I am. Clear and concise; thank you.
Okay I have a newbie question that I can't find the answer to anywhere. Let's say I want to replace a 4-Digit hex code with one that is 6 digits. Do I go to digits before what I'm replacing and start there or do I add two digits after the 4-Digit that I'm trying to replace?
All letters and symbols are defined by a number, these are called “ascii characters” you can Google the chart and look up what they all translate to. Each one has a number assigned to it.
I definitely feel like I can now convert to and from hexadecimal by doing these calculations, but I wouldn't say I can now "read and write in hexadecimal." Everyone else seems to have found this helpful so maybe as a non-programmer I'm misunderstanding something...
I tried many video video to learn this but what I learned from your video none of others explained it this much clearly. Thanks😊

Nice, I usually just put it in a long division typeform whenever I do it by hand
