      Thr binary table doesn't apply for huge decimal numbers? I tried to convert 666 using the table but it was incorrect

      I thought computers work in hexadecimal but this video is about binary so actually computer work in binary?

      @@asajjad8656 Computers work in Binary. Hexadecimal and Decimal are simply ways of representing binary values that are easier for Humans.

      Could this be even more simple? Just count in decimal, as usual, but use only those numbers that are made up of noughts and ones.

      It works for any number base up to 10. For instance, for base 3 just keep the numbers with 0, 1 and 2 in them. After base 10 you need to invent some more digits.

    I had to help my daughter with her homework that she forgot to answer and she just asked me last minute before we go to sleep. I needed to learn this so I can teach her. I search google, and didn’t know which link to click, so I just randomly open links and found this video, to try. I tried and boom! I learned it. Easy to understand the rules.. I never learned this in my school days in high school and college. I just learned it now. Wow!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. God knows where to direct us to learn in the right way and not confusing.     I just started a beginners IT fundamentals course and they lost me at binary. Starting from zero knowledge I got discouraged so I took myself to YT. Clicked a few videos that were still speaking gibberish to me but luckily the sidebar did me justice! Within the first minute and a half of your video I was able to follow along. I paused when instructed and attempted the answers. I wont lie the first one I had to do like 5 times but once I got that correct I aced the rest! Thank you so much!

    I started my cs50 course at Harvard without any knowledge of computer science.     I had a couple of aha 🤯🧠 moments as I watched. Not only I now have clear understanding of this subject, but I also learned the reasoning behind the sizes in RAM, disk drives, all many of the numbers that deal with computers. Thanks for the video 🙏 🙇🏾‍♂️

    I just want to say that this video is incredibly helpful, and I appreciate you making this. I've seen many videos that cover portions of what you did, but you encapsulated the subject as a whole, ensuring the viewer understands all angles of what's happening.
    This type of learning is super beneficial for a learner like myself, who needs to understand the "why" behind the "how".

      precisely: I have trouble in math because all we learn is what equations to use...Then the teacher gets mad when I ask ''but WHY do we do that?"
      I would rather learn *how* to build the equations, and then build my on on the day of the test/afterwards.

    At 14:37... When it's all 1's, like the example 11111111, if you double the last number and subtract 1, you get 255. Works with other all 1's numbers I tried. This is my first binary tutorial video, so I'm sure somebody else already knows this, but it blew MY mind realizing it, lol! Awesome video!

    Finally a video that matches its title!
    I am a slow learner, I get through classes like these through memorization. But now I actually understand what is going on. You have me counting in binary at work, when I am driving my car, walking my dog...I think I am starting to see 0's and 1's everywhere, haha.
    Thank you for taking the time to explain this for free on the internet, I am sure it took a lot of effort...It is very much appreciated

    I consider myself a math savvy. However, binary counting is somewhat difficult for me and I tried 3 websites prior to this one and I couldn't understand at all until I watched this video. Thank you so much for making this "Binary math" simple.

    I''m taking the intro to IT support on Coursea and their explanation for Binary was nonexistent. I'm the type of person that needs an explanation for WHY something is the way it is, for everything, in order to understand the outcome. This video helped so much. Thank you!
