I think a lot of it comes down to how they’re treated, no matter where they’re hanging out. Take city raccoons, for example - they’re always getting yelled at or chased off with brooms like they’re trying to rob a bank or something! Out here in the countryside, though, it’s more of a laid-back, peaceful vibe. Forest raccoons are just living their best life, and I swear, you can see it in their attitude. They're way more chill compared to their city cousins who are constantly dodging humans like it’s an action movie.
👍🙏💝Thank you. This is a topic I ponder a lot. This is the best way I’ve heard it explained. 💡To help you find your mission in life / purpose, think of these categories: *Love* 1) Who are you here to love & care for? Avoid using generic labels *Live* 2) What do you want to do with your life? What do you want to have? What do you want to experience more? What do you want to learn about? *Legacy* 3) How do you want to leave this world a better place? What do you want to leave inside of people? Maybe volunteering, contributing to society? Knowing your mission will keep you going. Remember the mission when times get hard.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the discussion, and thank you for summarizing the key points for other people. I can tell you're a very thoughtful and caring soul...the people in your life are lucky to have you. Sending positive vibes your way!
Raccoons are so adorable but when they're trying to get in one's house by destroying the roof and soffet , well I need a remedy . I won't poison them and traps tend to catch skunks smh and that is a huge problem. Open to suggestions here Royalty from way back trading kingdoms for RUclips access ,I'm sure they would. So many now just take it for granted. Even color television wasn't common when I was first born. About leaving a legacy and sharing my hard earned knowledge . I'm trying to figure that out right now. The best were my grandparents, great aunts and uncles (some very best were dairy farmers) None were corruptible that I knew including my parents
If you want to get rid of unwanted raccoons, there’s an old-school trick that people swear by - playing music! Farmers, for example, will set up a little stereo in the barn and crank up the tunes when the raccoons start squatting. A lot of folks say it works wonders for clearing them out of attics too. Turns out, raccoons have pretty sensitive ears, and when the noise gets too much, they’ll just pack up and head off in search of some peace and quiet elsewhere.
Sounds like you’ve got some incredible role models in your family! Leaving a legacy is such a personal thing, but it sounds like you’ve already got a solid foundation to build on with all the values you’ve inherited from your grandparents and great aunts and uncles. Dairy farmers, especially - they’re tough as nails, and there’s something special about the work ethic and honesty that comes with that lifestyle. It’s awesome that none of them were corruptible, including your parents. That’s a legacy in itself! Whatever you choose to pass on, it’s clear you’ve got some serious wisdom and values to share, and that’s a gift to anyone who receives it. Keep figuring it out-you’re on the right path!
Thank you. I needed this. 🎉
Glad it was helpful!
Ur living the life I want.
lol I’m pretty sure American raccoons aren’t as friendly

Great talk, thank you. Also, how long did it take to tame your raccoons?
It only took about 2 weeks with the first group we had, until they became very comfortable and tame.
