Im late to the market bag party, but i just wanted to thank you, Mikey, for a great tutorial. It brought me a whole lot of joy and a lovely new bag🙏🫶 What's not to love about that 😉😁
hi! thank you for this tutorial. I just started this bag and I am a beginner. I am just at the point of starting row two of the main body. the pattern on the yarn band says to hdc in the space between each hdc. I can't figure out how to do that. I noticed you hdc in each hdc instead so I think I will simplify my life and do the same. also thank you for illustrating the reverse sc. I didn't know how to do that either. I am loving this yarn - soft and easy to work with. I am learning how to crochet from youtube and I am grateful for those like yourself who share your knowledge.
Very well done. Sometimes you just hurry too fast Mikey, right on to speed speech but I've noticed you've slowed the mojo a bit. I appreciate that. When I do market bags or bags carrying heavier "stuff"🙄, I'll always crochet around a cotton rope or your choice of strength. That's just me. Thx Lil Mikey.
Question... I just finished the bottom and I have two question before I start up the sides. First some how I managed to pick up two extra stitches, will that matter in the end, and second my bottom looks smaller than yours even though I’ve done the correct number of rounds. Maybe my Yarn Bee cotton wheel is thinner or my stitches are tighter, I’m not sure, can I add a few more rounds to make it larger or will that mess things up?
this might sound stupid but can you clarify for me as i am a beginner, round 2 to 39 is HDC we dont add 2 stitches at 3,6,&9 do we it was only for round 1 ???????

Hey Mikey. Hello everyome this is really great bag. Is that yarn " Caron cotton cakes " in JoAnn's store..or where can you get it. I like it.
Marilyn Kolako you can get it from Michaels.
Alice Anthony thank you so very much. I appreciate you for responding. Be encouraged
I’m glad I can be of help.
Yeppers... Available only at Michaels.
Caron Cotton Cakes are exclusive to Michaels Stores.
Why not crochet the handles on the bag.
You can do that if you wish. Up to you really.
The Caron cotton cakes are $10 apiece!! I will have to use a more affordable yarn.
