      I think they are much better with membrane removed. Easy to do by grabbing end with paper towel.

    I always coat my ribs with a thin layer of yellow mustard before I put on my dry rub. Helps the dry rub to stick real good, helps break down the tissue and adds great flavor.

      Mustard on a rib roast is delicious too!
      You will be amazed how good burnt-on mustard tastes as a crust!!

      I picked up ribs cause if you bought one you got 2 free.
      Got home and remembered what a pain it is to remove membrane. No wonder they are so cheap

    Just put mine in the crockpot!!! Only thing I did differently is I put a little W sauce as a binder before seasoning and I tossed in a few onions not going to be home so I’m doing low and slow probably about 8 hours!! I’m excited!!!

    Could I use crock pot for 3 hours so I can finish up on the BBQ instead of oven?

    In the center, put in a bunch of small potatoes or large Idaho potatoes cut in half, and when you take the ribs out, take the potatoes out and make mashed potatoes out of them with a little butter and sour cream, and they are out of this world.

    I cooked the ribs and it turned out really
    good. I cooked the baby back ribs and
    I only cooked one slab, because I have small crockpot, washed it and i pulled the thing on the ribs, I dont know what you call it. For seasonings garlic powder, Onion powder, kingsford cajun style all purpose spicy, not too much salt and black paper and sweet baby rays (sweet and spicy sauce). It was wonderful!! Thank you for sharing.😋❤️♥️🙏

      Very good point!! I would have thrown a couple of potatoes in that crock pot as well and you would have had a complete meal LOL.. and then use the juices to pour over the potatoes.. or maybe not. What do I know??

      @@tereseweckerI’ve watched this gal for a while & she’s very wasteful! She once put 4 sticks of butter in a skillet to cook frozen biscuits in??? I’m sure she poured the hot butter in her plastic lined trash can!😂 But what do I know?

    I am going to try 'Oven Baked Ribs' 😂, much tender, fall off the bone, than the traditional bar-b-q charcoal way of cooking ribs 😂😂😂❤❤❤

      Almost any meat will get tender in a crock pot. I would look up a recipe for beef ribs however. Seasonings and times are probably different.

      Never have used this Kinder's brand bit the peach bourbon sounds soo good. I'm gonna have to try some of these recipes. Especially now that I finally got a big 6qt crock.

    After the crockpot, try putting them on the smoker to finish. Baste the last 30 minutes. They look good 😊

      Even some competition rib restaurants won't remove the membrane. They score and it when you cook ribs the correct way, they dissappear

    Why didnt you just pick them up and place in crockpot while you had the gloves on, would have been easier then with tongs. Iv made ribs like this and they really are so good. Also if you lay them in the pot they will cook in the bbq sauce

      Probably because on high it takes less time. I'm sure you could put it on low and cook all day while at work or overnight for your meal.

      I would think you could use any flavor of BBQ sauce. It would be personal preference.
      IMO
